Alright so I really really wanted to finish the second part of Cold Hands, Warm Heart for the New Year, and there's pHORSE ch. 3 that's almost ready to post, and I had a couple asks about ch. 2 that I wanted to answer, and I really wanted to read more of the Santas and comment!!!

But:

-There's an emergency with my MSc student's project 🚨

-I'm preparing to leave for a two-month research stay in Africa in two weeks and I can't even start to describe the amount of stuff to do that involves 😵

-I'm moving out of my flat 📦

-I need to take care of another research project before I leave 🧪

-It's my last days with my partner before we're apart for probably three months, and he's got LOTS of energy but few of the skills to help me efficiently with anything (more like: "hey do you want to go to the 🥶 pool 🥶 this morning?" Cmon cmon cmon!") 🐕

-Yesterday I got the vaccines for typhus, dengue fever and yellow fever, and according to my colleagues who got them there are high chances that I will soon drop functionally dead with fever for 24 to 48 hours as my immunity kicks in. 🤒
