Hi hi!! Okay, question here, what’s your favourite RDR2 mission and why?! Also, who’s your favorite character and why do you like them?! Love your blog!
Thank you! I really appreciate it :-)
I'm currently on my first playthrough (high honor player) rn and I'm halfway through chapter 6. I'm aware that there is an epilogue so my answers may change in the future once I finish the game.
This is honestly such a difficult question because there is a ton of missions I like from each chapter. I think I'll just try and focus on my favorite mission on each chapter if you don't mind 😅
Chapter 3 and 4 are my favorite so my top mission is probably in one of those chapters.
Chapter 1 - Hunting with Charles. I personally find hunting pretty fun in-game (I don't hunt irl btw)
Chapter 2 - I played this chapter back in November, so I don't remember it too well. I'll answer this once I start my second playthrough.
Chapter 3 - The mission with Hosea and Arthur dressed up as Fenton. Hosea is one of my favorite characters so I really liked how we got to see more of his character here. Also, I thought that Blessed are the Peacemakers was a really unique mission because of the gameplay which makes it stand out to me but it definitely shocked me a ton for obvious reasons so I wouldn't list it as the most enjoyable mission for me.
Chapter 4 - So so difficult to choose but I like the stealth mission with eagle flies. I like a lot of missions from this chapter though so I haven't decided if this is my favorite.
Chapter 5 - Buck mission because I just love how this mission portrays the feeling of being lost or out of place, especially since it takes place in the St. Denis (Patron saint of headaches) which is just so fitting. (I love symbolism btw and I'm curious to see what this looks like on a low honor route which I'll be doing next) If I'm talking about Guarma, I know it's hated, but it has some pretty good gameplay, though I played it in one sitting so it's a little bit of a blur. (I struggled so badly with shaking the chair that I died the first time 💀)
Chapter 6 - the mission where you save John because the fight was fun and it was so hilarious to see Arthur hold that guy at gunpoint omg 🤣 (feel bad for him though, he was so terrified) This answer will likely change in the future since I know big stuff is coming.
This was really difficult for me to decide because there's so many aspects to consider like the gameplay, story, emotions I felt, Arthur bonding with characters, etc so the missions on this list is a mix of different things. I wouldn't say these are definite answers but they're some of my favorites so I hope I was somewhat able to answer your question well! I apologize for not being very specific. If I remember, I'll add the titles of the missions later.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
