1. What’s your favorite part of the book or musical?

Elphaba’s dance, hands down, and it’s evolved over time to add some important pauses which only makes me love it more

2. Have you read the book?

(don’t judge me) no bc I really need to have the time to really get into the 1st section of the first book and after that I’ll be fine… but I do own every book from The Wicked Years series when I get the time so there’s that?

3. Favorite Elphaba?

Willemijn Verkaik ❤️ (but Kerry Ellis deserves a mention bc she’s the reason I fell in love with Elphie in the first place even if she ain’t my fav anymore)

4. Favorite Glinda?

Suzie Mathers!!!!!!!! (sweet aussie bean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) but honourable mention to Dianne Pilkington (my first) and Savannah Stevenson (longest running West End Glinda for a very good reason) and KRC (for reasons I shouldn’t have to explain)

5. Favorite Fiyero?

Oliver Tompsett I guess? and he’s only my fav bc he was my first so it’s the sentiment… (and the voice and the riffs! 😍 like one of the only ones to riff on all 2 songs he got to sing in the show! and his belt is so healthy compared to some others?? just go here for evidence) and I remember enjoying Oliver Savile in one of this many performances I saw when I was close enough to see his facial expressions but I’m not really that big into Fiyero’s character in the musical tbh

6. Favorite Nessarose?

again I don’t really have one but Katie Rowley Jones deserves at least a mention, longest running Nessa in any production ever?? I think so and she doesn’t get the love she deserves

7. Favorite Boq?

and again don’t particularly have one bc I don’t like Boq’s character assassination in the musical but I really liked Idriss Kargbo’s voice in the wicked10 cast

8. Fiyeraba or Gelphie?

Gelphie all da way bruh (would you believe back in the day I was a Fiyeraba shipper?? bc I was on that shit hardcore as a 12 y/o)

9. How many times have you seen the musical?

9 (5 of those times in the last year 🙄)

10. What’s your favorite song in the musical?

No Good Deed (but that changes depending on my mood and which boot I’m listening to tbh, like Willemijn makes me love TWAI but Jemma Rix makes me love DG all over again, and different Gelphie pairings make me love WITF and FG in different ways, and Suzie made me love Popular again so idk it changes but it’s defo NGD on a good day)

11. In your opinion, what’s your most underrated song in the musical?

justice for Wicked Witch of The East 2k17!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but also Thank Goodness (so much good angst in that song and no one takes notice of it)

12. What are your headcanons\theories?

Glinda is gay and Elphaba is a nb bisexual~~~ and they totally did it on their way to the emerald city in the book… actually everyone in the book is at least a little bit bi except Nessa and Boq tbh

13. Act one or act two?

Act 1 bc there’s positive interaction between just about every character and act 2 is a cry fest (even if it has some of the better songs)

14. When did you first see the musical?

january 2009 (and from that day forward I would forever be trash 4 this show)

15. If you could never read the book again or never see the musical again, which would you choose?

considering I’ve gone almost 9 years without reading the book I think I could go the rest of my life never reading it tbh, plus I’ve gathered enough info about it over the years I wouldn’t need to read it

16. If you could change one thing about the musical, what would it be?

make it gay u cowards!!!!!! no but I’d get rid of that love triangle bullshit that’s in the musical for no reason (legit Glinda doesn’t really show romantic interest in Fiyero in the book… just let her crush on her Elphie in peace dammit!) also for them to stop whitewashing Fiyero but they’ve written him as the literal embodiment of white privilege in the musical so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

17. If you could change one part of the book, what would it be?

Gelphie would get an actual goodbye like in the musical where they forgive each other and they wouldn’t ruin one of their last interactions by falling out over a pair of shoes

18. Who’s your favorite character?

Glinda my sweet baby

19. Do you have a character you wish existed in the franchise?

I want to say Liir but idk and people say Nor’s awesome so… OH! if Avaric was a proper character in the show they wouldn’t have been able to give all his traits to Fiyero and then I’d like musical!Fiyero more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20. How have your opinions of the franchise changed over time?

oh boy so many things… let’s just go with the fact that I used to think Glinda wasn’t that nice and now she’s my sweetheart and I would literally die for her! so you can make your own assumptions from that
