I do love seeing autistic headcanons for characters become popular with fanon but at the same time I always dread it a little because I just know a bunch of allistic people are gonna be coming in in droves to infantilize the shit out of those characters, and in the most drastic cases strip them of like. Any and all autonomy in fanwork
