For punk/rock, I highly recommend Die Ärzte and Die Toten Hosen!! If you're looking for humorous rap, you should check out 257ers or Alligatoah's albums Triebwerke and Musik ist keine Lösung. Casper, Marteria, Prinz Pi and Dame are other rappers but their music isn't like, 99% jokes like 257ers and Alligatoah. Glasperlenspiel, Wincent Weiss and Revolverheld are some good pop artists. And Falco is god (you may know Rock Me Amadeus)
