can i just say that leave the light on is such a freaking brilliant song? noah going from "we build these walls" with the ensemble singing with him in the background because he's imagining himself building and sharing this home with allie to him going "i build these walls" all on his own because the loneliness from all this time of working on this house and no sight of allie is hitting and crushing him is actual art.
