some fun facts about rowan! 🪲 (i brain stormed some ideas to flesh him out)

🍃- his middle name is amadeus. yes, rocky picked out that name 🍃- he finds great pride in his middle name (his father tells him he's named after the world's greatest composer and it inflates his ego) 🍃- is canonically deaf in his folded ear, as he has grade 2 microtia 🍃- he also has a weak heart, so it stunted his growth. as an adult, the tallest he's ever been is 5'3 🍃- he is incredibly talented at the piano, but can't master the violin like his father can. he tries really hard, though 🍃- he is well aware of how similar he looks to rocky, which unnerves him greatly. he wishes he looked more like lola 🍃- he picks up a nasty smoking habit as a teenager 🍃- he has a crush on a girl named bonnie in his english class. he tries impressing her by climbing high trees and having the fire department come get him down 🍃- for some reason, he really enjoys dangling from high places to gain attention. at first, it was out of spite because of people babying him, but then it just became a funny pastime of his. 🍃- he cares greatly for his bedridden mother when rocky isn't around. she's spoiled rotten 🍃- he sometimes fantasizes about having a younger sibling to look after 🍃- he loves spending time stargazing and listening to his dad's crazy stories as a "traveling musician". he has yet to know the full truth of his past line of work. he thinks his dad is the coolest guy ever 🍃- has awful grades as a teen. he's tactically smart; he just doesn't want to put the effort into studying when he could be smoking and writing his own music 🍃- as an adult he grows to dislike his father, as much as it hurts him. rocky just never grows out of his old habits and it deeply affects their family 🍃- becomes a music teacher and interpreter at the central institute for the deaf
