we just rewatched the first movie of the Star Trek reboot and by god that movie is so funny, if you've watched even a couple episodes of TOS
#tess is rambling#don't get me wrong i still love it and the cast is amazing#but this thing makes no fucking sense (affectionate)#jj abrams really went 'but i'd rather make a star wars' and continued to shoehorn as much star wars into a star trek as possible#also my jim kirk not only leaving romulans to die but also shooting at them while they're helpless?#i think the fuck not#and that boy gets choked a LOT in this movie#i'd go and look for a kinky spirk choking fic but alas... ao3 is down
