I'm at almost 32,000 words and I can count the beta reader interaction I've had on one fucking hand lmao

I've got the reader who used THE FIRST CHECK-IN to complain about my pacing and criticize my exposition, one reader who said she liked the slow burn vibes + one reader who sent me a little bit of positive feedback and speculation on the first 20k words.

aaaand that's it!

gone are the days of write-ins and sprints, gone are the days of friends sending asks about each character, gone are the days of NaNo line-of-the-day, the Facebook updates, the moodboards. nobody cares but me lmao I've managed to catch up which is remarkable given how far behind I was but I don't really feel like celebrating because there's no one here to high-five
