One constant in my life is the unwritten rule 'if travel -> become sick'

The travel can be for work or for leisure, include big crowds or none at all. But every time I travel I get sick and YET, I still hold out hope against all hope every time.

But alas, here I sit, on my friends couch who I have been visiting for two days. With a cold.

#i would greatly appreciate if this wasn't such a reliable fact of life for me #every fucking time #i get sick right before #or during #or right after #tho most often its the middle or on the last day im thefe #i just hope its not gonna be as intense as the last couple times #that included me vagulry hallucinating my way over to a restaurant because i had to eat and it was the closest food available
