Dragon Ball Legend Part 14

Super Kami Guru,

"Looks like we made it." Krillin said.

Krillin, Ocarin, Dende and Necke stopped as they saw a tall mountain within the distance. On top of it was a large hut shaped like the others on Namek with a slug like appearance with two spikes on the roof.

"Come on, we'll find the eldest Namek inside." Dende said. They landed on the ground and walked closer towards the hut. It was far too quiet as they didn't hear anything inside.

"Are you sure? Cause I gotta tell you I'm surprised that the place is still standing." Krillin said. "It's so quiet. Do you think they've got him already?" Dende glanced at him in worry, wondering as well. Necke frowned, looking down to the ground, thinking. Ocarin elbowed Krillin in the head.

"Do you always have to be a pessimist?" She replied. Suddenly, the door to the hut began to lift in the air, floating, as it opened. Ocarin let out a gasp and her eyes widen as she saw a Namekian warrior step out of the house, standing in front of them. He was wearing a dark blue vest, exposing his chest and stomach, a white scarf and pants with a blue sash and brown boots. Ocarin blinked again as she stared at him silently. She felt her heart beating a little faster, looking at him closer. He looked exactly like Piccolo. The same face, the same eyes, the same scowl. If the two were to be put side by side together, they would have been twins.

"Hey Nail! Am I ever glad to see you're alright!" Dende smiled up at him.

"It's good to see you, Dende and Necke. You and your friends are most welcome. Guru has been expecting you for some time now." Nail said to them.

"So, then Guru knows about what everything's been going on?" Necke asked.

"Well, that's some good news at least." Krillin smiled.

"There is much to discuss. Come with me, I will take you to Guru, now." The Namekian warrior told them.

"Wait, Nail. If Guru already knows about what's happening, then shouldn't he try to move to a safer place?" Dende asked him.

"Guru is very old. He knows his time is drawing near. Unfortunately, he's too weak to move. There is little more than I can do for him than to stay by his side to protect him until the end." Nail explained.

"Oh no. I knew that he was old, but I never thought that he'd be leaving so soon." Dende said, sadly.

"Please, come you two." Nail said and walked inside the hut.

Krillin, Ocarin, Dende and Necke followed the Namekian inside. Nail turned to them, directing his head up towards a large hole in the ceiling. "Up here." He floated up and Dende and Necke followed, flying up with him. Krillin and Ocarin nodded and slowly hovered up. As they came up, the two were surprised to see an taller and larger Namekian, sitting on a throne. His skin was wrinkled with age, the patches on his arms were dark orange, wearing a magenta cape over a dark brown vest and white robes and orange shoes.

'Master, I've brought Dende and Necke and their friends from Earth." Nail spoke as he bowed before the Namekian elder.

"Welcome. It is my great honor to be in your presence and I thank you for taking care of Dende and Necke. Is there something that I can do to repay your kindness?" Guru said to Krillin and Ocarin.

"There's no need to thank us, really." Krillin replied. They noticed that Guru was silent as he didn't answer Krillin.

"Is he alright?" Ocarin asked.

"Maybe, he fell asleep?" Dende wondered as well.

"I don't know." Krillin shrugged his shoulders and turned back to the old Namekian. "Excuse me-"

"Great evil has come to Namek. Frieza and his wicked men because of them nearly all of my children have been murdered. He'll stop at nothing until he has gathered all seven Dragon balls. To Namek, the Dragon balls symbolize wisdom and power. But Frieza only sees them only as a tool to serve his greed." Guru replied.

"Guru. That is exactly why we're here as well. But our goals are not the same as Frieza's." Krillin said.

"They've lost their friends to the same men who are terrorizing our planet. If we can wish them back, then maybe they'll be able to help save our planet!" Dende explained.

"Two of our friends meant a lot to me. We would wish them back with our own Dragon balls, but the creator was killed as well. The one responsible was Vegeta, a Saiyan, who's terrorizing your planet, now." Ocarin told him. Guru looked at her as he frowned in confusion.

"How is it possible that you have your own set of Dragon balls?"

"The creator of our Dragon balls is named Kami. He is an Namekian, like you, who came from the Planet Namek. He managed to escape the disaster that fell your planet by spaceship." Ocarin told him. 

"I don't believe it. The child of Katas has survived after all this time. I am pleased to hear that he made his journey safely. He was a gifted child from the Dragon clan." Guru said, surprised. "They had the power to create the Dragon balls. This Saiyan must be powerful, indeed. What an awful power. One who defeated a Namek like Kami must have been a Super Saiyan."

"Super Saiyan? What's that?" Krillin asked.

"You don't know? You two, come closer and we'll solve this puzzle." Guru motioned for Ocarin and Krillin to come closer to him.

"Go on, Krillin." Ocarin pushed him over to the Namekian as they approached Guru.

"Why me?" Ocarin stood to the left of Guru while Krillin stood to the right. Ocarin looked up at the Namekian as she saw him lift his hand towards her.

"So, do I take your hand or-" She squeaked in surprise when the Namekian placed his hand on top of her head and did the same with Krillin.

"Now, clear you mind so I can feel your past. What a terrible fate. A Namek who has warped himself and torn in two. Before he could become guardian of Earth, Kami had to first purge even the smallest trace of evil from his heart. Thus, he split into two and Piccolo was born. In doing so, his powers were also split equally between these two hearts. If they had been reunited, they would have not been defeated by any normal Saiyan." Guru told them then he reached up above him and pulled the Dragon ball off from the throne and handed it to Krillin. Krillin took the Dragon ball from him.

"Now, I have seen your mind. Your heart is pure, and your intentions are true. Your bravery and loyalty to your friends are beyond question. You have proven yourself worthy to receive this Dragon ball." Guru explained. Krillin smiled.

"Thank you, sir! You don't know what this means to me." 

"One down and six to go." Ocarin smiled as well.

"I only hope that there's still enough time to make your wish." Guru said. Ocarin looked at him, confused, wondering what he meant by that.

"What do you mean?"

"Unfortunately, I only have a few days left to live." The Namekian elder told the group. "If your wish is to be fulfilled, you will have to gather all seven Dragon balls before I go. However, if this could not be accomplished then the Dragon balls will disappear along with me." 

"Well do our best." Ocarin said.

"I promise, whatever happens I'll guard this Dragon ball with my life! If we can't get all seven Dragon balls in time for a wish, then neither does Frieza or Vegeta!" Krillin shouted. Guru smiled at the two.

"Thank you, you both do a great service to my people." He said. "Indeed, you are brave and there is much strength in you even more than you realize for much of it is still sleeping."

"Still sleeping?" Krillin questioned.

"What do you mean by that?" Ocarin asked, wondering as well. Guru turned to Krillin and placed his hand on Krillin's head.

"Allow me to awaken this power."

"I've already trained myself to my limits. I don't have any sleeping powers and to tell you the truth. I'm amazed that I even made it this far." Krillin said before something began happening to him. Ocarin's eyes widen as she felt a surge of energy releasing from Krillin.

"This is the power that has been with you all along." Guru told him.

"You were right! I never knew I had it in me! Whatever you did, thanks a lot!" Krillin exclaimed, excitedly, smiling. Then he looked back at Guru. "Um, excuse me, can you release anyone's power?"

"If they have the power within them, then it is possible." The Namekian elder said.

"If you do this too many times, doesn't it drain your own power?" Krillin asked in concern. Guru smiled, shaking his head.

"I appreciate your concern for my well-being. But the answer is no." Krillin nodded then pointed at Ocarin.

"Well, then can you do her as well?" Ocarin's eyes widen.

"Sure."

"Krillin, I don't think that's such a good idea." Ocarin said. Krillin turned to her.

"Come on, what are you afraid of. You know you have a hidden power within you. We're gonna need it against Frieza and Vegeta."Krillin said. Ocarin said nothing and Krillin turned back to Guru. "And do you mind trying this again on another friend of mine? He's really a great kid and he has a hidden power as well!"

"Bring him to me and if I can, I will unlock his potential." Guru replied.

"Great. I'll be right back-but wait, what should I do with the Dragon ball?" Krillin asked.

"I entrust it to you along with the fate of this entire planet, now rests in your hands." Guru nodded.

"Gee, no pressure. Ocarin, you stay here, and I'll come back with Gohan as soon as I can." Krillin told her.

"Hurry back." Ocarin told him.

"Please, be careful, Krillin." Dende said. Krillin smiled and hopped down the hole and left the hut as he flew away to get Gohan, carrying the Dragon ball in his hands.

"Now are you ready?" Guru asked Ocarin.

"Ocarin?" Necke asked in worry, noticing that she was quiet.

"I'm ready." Ocarin said. Guru placed his hand on top of her head.

"I sense something within you that I have not felt in a long time. It feels familiar to me. You also bear some resistance towards your power. A full awakening will require some effort." He explained. "Answer me this, what do you think of great power?"

Ocarin blinked at him, looking at the Namekian elder in confusion, then looked down thinking. Great power? What did he did he mean by that? She was just an ordinary person. She told herself. Then she was reminded of the battle with Vegeta. How she felt so helpless that she couldn't do anything to help anyone. Now, Piccolo was gone and Kami, too. She was in a complete rage that she blacked out. Ocarin couldn't remember any more after that. 

"To have a great power, I think that it would be scary." She told him.

"Yes. To you, power can be a frightening force indeed. But that's not all, I sense your hesitation that you feel it's full potential as well. Tell me this, when should a power like this ever be used?"

"Only when it's necessary."

"Correct." Guru nodded. "It should only be used when the time is right. Now, let's move on to the final question. If I unlock this power of yours, what do you plan to do with it? What is your purpose when you fight?"

"To protect the people that I love. I will do anything to bring them back to life." Ocarin told him.

"Yes, that is why you fight. Just think of only of this...and relax." Guru said. Ocarin slowly nodded. Then Ocarin felt something strange within her as she felt a strong energy surge through her. Ocarin saw her skin turn light blue and her hair turn white as she transformed. So, this what Krillin and Gohan meant when she turned blue. Dende, Necke, and Nail watched in surprise, seeing the transformation happen as well. Guru pulled his hand away from Ocarin's head.

"Necke!" Ocarin quickly turned her head when she heard Dende cried out to see Necke on the ground, struggling to stand by back up. She saw that Dende was struggling as well as he tried to help Necke up. Nail was on his knees before he managed to get back up again. 

"I'm sorry! Are you guys alright?" Ocarin asked worried. Then she saw her skin return back to normal, along with her hair as he turned back to black.

"We're fine. But what was that power of yours?" Nail asked her. Ocarin shook her head.

"Your guess is as good as mine." She told him.

"You mean you don't know?" Nail questioned. Ocarin shook her head.

"No. I don't know what I am. So, I'm one of you guys, a Namekian." She told him.

"I don't think that's how it works." Nail told her. Ocarin stared at him, silently, making the Namekian warrior a little uncomfortable. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Ocarin blinked before she blushed a little.

"I know that you are not him. But you said the exact same thing that he did back on Earth." She smiled, chuckling, softly. She saw Nail's cheeks had a slight purplish tint on them as he blushed.

"I know the answer to this power of yours." Ocarin and the other three Namekian's looked up at the Guru.

"What?" Ocarin asked, surprised.

"It is the power of a deity."

"Wait, you're saying that I'm a-I'm a g-g-od?" Ocarin stammered in shock. Dende, Necke, and Nail looked at him, shocked as well by the news. Guru nodded his head.

"It's been quite a long-time sense I've seen or even sensed a Cerulean on Namek." Guru said.

"There are more like me? Do you know where they are now?" Ocarin asked him. Guru shook his head.

"No, I do not. I have not seen any of your kind since the disaster that befell on Namek more than 300 years ago."

While things unfolded on Namek, in the Otherworld, the fallen Z fighters, Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and Piccolo were on King Kai's planet as they trained to get even more stronger. Even though he was dead, Kami managed to pull some strings, so everyone was able to have their own body. Tien, Chioatzu and Yamcha were chasing after Bubbles, King Kai's pet monkey, trying to catch him as part of their training. The kai was watering his garden and pulling weeds when he noticed a shadow appear behind him.

"What do you want?" He asked Piccolo, who towered over him.

"I've already proven that I am above these foolish games. So, what do you say that we just cut to the chase and move on to the next step of the training?" Piccolo said.

"No, sorry. You have to go through the proper procedures like everyone else. No one's forcing you to sit out, Piccolo. You're free to join the others at any time. But if you'd rather not do that, you're more than welcome helping me in weeding the garden." The kai smiled, gesturing to his garden as he pulled out some weeds. Piccolo growled and reached out, grabbing the kai's shirt.

"Listen, you-!" King Kai's glasses flashed as he glared up at Piccolo. Piccolo gasped and he quickly released King Kai, backing away from him. King Kai stared at Piccolo for a moment with a suspicious look on his face.

"I'm curious. Why are you in such a rush? You made a promise that you wouldn't fight Frieza. You're not thinking of breaking it, are you?" He asked Piccolo. Piccolo gritted his teeth, sweating nervously. King Kai smiled at him. "No, of course you're not. Cause that would mean that you're a liar and I think that we both know that the only thing worse than a liar is a no-good thief. I made a rule to never train either one. So, we wouldn't have to worry about that, right?"

Piccolo huffed and walked away from him. "Just forget about it." He muttered under his breath. King Kai watched as he left in confusion. Piccolo walked over to the tree next to the Kai's house and sat down underneath of it. He was getting frustrated being here. As he thought, Piccolo began to grow more and more worried for Gohan and Ocarin, wondering how they were doing by themselves. They have to be on Planet Namek by now. Judging by how worried King Kai was as he told the fighters and him, this Frieza character must be really strong.

"I have to get stronger. Just hang on a little longer, you two. Just stay alive until I get there. Ocarin."

#Introducing ToSha

I've come to realize I've never said anything about Keisha and Tony. This ship was only born last summer but me and my friend have caught back a serious case of ToSha fever a few days ago so I'm taking this opportunity to introduce them properly.

*Keisha and Tony are part of a story yet unnamed that takes place a few days/weeks after the events of Blindsight. Tony actually has an active role in Blindsight since he's the handyman of the Nocenti family who wants Shaun, Chester and Ani dead. By that I mean he's taking care of all the dirty work. I don't wanna spoil Blindsight but Tony ends up more or less changing sides and betraying his family by making a bargain with Shaun to save Ani (they've got a hilarious bromance going on but that's another story)

*Tony is a smart guy. And also kind. His dad, Gene Nocenti, is a mafioso, his mom is a nurse and he's very close to her. He has a conflicted relationship with his brothers because he wasn't born from the same mother. Astero, the first born blatantly dislikes Tony and used to bully him when they were kids. Marco, the second born, is used to walk into Astero's footsteps, so he's mimicking his brother's animosity towards Tony without really knowing why. Silver, the youngest of the bunch (Tony's little brother) was the only one Tony could really get along with on his father's side. Tony was Silver's role model and they spent a lot of time together despite their differences.

*And then there's Keisha Romero. The prettiest girl on the block. The prettiest girl in all the fucking Bronx, some would say. Tony and Keisha have known each other since forever, they've been living in the same street since they were kids (Keisha with her parents, her grandma, her two sisters and her baby brother, and Tony alone with his mom) so they didn't see each other as a potential romantic interest at first, not at all. He was just a stupid guy heckling with the other boys on the block, she was just a bratty little miss know-it-all who thought she knew better because she was reading her dad's newspaper.

*Around 11-12 they started to see each other under a different light. Keisha was becoming prettier everyday, the boys were slowly beginning to notice it. Tony on the other hand stayed a scrawny stray cat for a long time, but never really felt self conscious about it. It's only around 15 he had the most epic glo-up, nobody understood what happened.

*Keisha always liked Tony. That's why she was always acting superior with him ; she was clumsy but all she wanted was for him to notice her. She liked him even before he got the glo-up and her friends would start giggling whenever he would pass by in the hallway. It's also probably the reason why she would dismiss all the boys who would be bold enough to ask her out. At 15, Keisha had the reputation of a virgin warrior princess in high school. She was seen as unreachable. One day Tony's friends dared him to ask her out, he didn't want to do it, but the boys pushed him and turned that into a bet "if she says yes you win 50 bucks! But I guess we'll never know cause ya ain't even got the balls to ask her. "- Tony didn't like that. He liked Keisha and wanted to ask her out but that thing felt really wrong, she didn't deserve to be played. In the end Tony took the bet reluctantly ; cause he was 15 and you know how easily a young boy breaks under peer pressure.

*To everyone's surprise, Keisha said yes when Tony asked her out. Especially him. "Are you for real?" "Yeah but I gotta be home by 9 and you'll have to pick me up and walk me to my house after that." He was the only guy she wanted to go out with, but he had no idea. Tony won the goddamn 50 bucks, but he didn't give a shit. He had a date with Keisha, the prettiest girl on the block. But to him she was still bratty ShaSha ; he gave her that nickname when they were kids and she never liked it, so he never gave it up.

*They started dating and it was wonderful for like one month. He was her first date, her first slow dance, her first kiss (excuse me yes, this is a teen movie sorry I should've put a trigger warning) but rumours run fast and ShaSha quickly learnt about the bet. She was furious. She went to talk to him that afternoon where he was chilling with his friends in the yard and slapped him before he could even say a word. Then she dumped him in front of everyone, and left, still furious. Tony's friends were laughing at him but he didn't really care. He knew he wouldn't be hanging out with those fuckers anyway from now on. Keisha cried herself to sleep that night. Tony was also her first heartbreak.

*Keisha got over that heartbreak eventually. The next year, Tony found new friends, and his new friends were friends with Keisha's friends so they ended up forming a clique, eating together at lunch, etc. At first Tony and Keisha were avoiding each other, but everything went fine when she found herself another boyfriend and finally accepted Tony's excuses. They were hanging out again. They were closer than ever. Tony didn't mind that Keisha was dating another guy, he was happy for her. But on the other hand, Keisha wasn't as happy as she claimed when Tony started to date Maria, a friend they had in common. She was jealous af. And she started idealising Maria and having self esteem issues. She broke up with her then bf shortly after that. The days passed and Tony and Maria were still together. Tony was treating her right, and Keisha was happy Maria found him cause she deserved it (the girl had a very difficult family situation, and a very tough life in general) but she couldn't help feeling jealous and she felt awful for that. He was really in love with her, and she hated it.

*When they were in senior year, Tony and Keisha's lives took separate paths. They both got accepted at Columbia university, and they were excited to go and to be able to see each other there, but things went down by the end of the school year : Maria got addicted to heroin, and Tony's mom was attacked by enemies of the Nocentis (cause Tony's mom is a nurse, that's how she met his gangster of a father. She still heals his men from time to time) and after all that Tony didn't feel like going to Columbia anymore. He couldn't leave his mom, he couldn't leave his girl.

*Keisha went to college and did very good. She liked the life on campus, and she liked to study. The life in Manhattan was nothing like in the Bronx, and she enjoyed that change. She felt like she could've gotten used to that. Everything was good as gold for her but nasty things were happening at the same time in the North of the city, in the streets where she had been growing up. Keisha's dad got sick, he was no longer able to walk, her kid brother, Joaquin, was becoming a troubled teenager, got arrested for theft and assault multiple times before the age of 14 and was sent to juvenile hall at 15. Maria had died from an overdose, and Tony was nowhere to be found. She didn't try to keep in touch with him ; when was silently blaming him because he chose to stay in the Bronx instead of going to uni with her. She understood her choice and didn't expect less of him, but she was mad, mad that he didn't give up everything to go with her.

*Keisha heard back from Tony at 23, when she was about to get her master's degree. She had a boyfriend, a PhD student from the same department as her, and everything was fine, until Tony reappeared. She agreed to meet with old friends from high school downtown, and Tony offered to pick her up so they'd go together. He knocked at her door, she opened, and all her feelings were brought back to life the second she saw him. It was a weird love at first sight ; falling instantly for someone you've always known. He was the same but he was different, it showed that he had grown out brutally from boyhood to become the man he was now. Also he was wearing a sleeveless hoodie, was visibly just going out from the gym cause his strong arms were glistening with sweat. She couldn't help but to stare like an idiot. He stared back at her "Campus life did you good ShaSha, you're beaming". It took like... One minute before things got completely out of hand and they ended up fucking each other's brain's out in Keisha's dorm room. They didn't know where that came from ; they hadn't seen each other in years, they had no idea what they were doing. They just knew they needed it, and that it felt good.

*Keisha had never been an 'easy girl'. The idea of sex always more or less repulsed her, and even though she had been dating a few guys since she was 15, she didn't lose her virginity before that day, with Tony. Once again he was her first, and it felt amazing cause that was exactly what she wanted. She knew she was cheating on her bf but she didn't care, cause Tony drove her completely crazy. What she didn't anticipate was the consequences of that raunchy afternoon spent on campus with her long time friend. Three weeks later she realised she was pregnant.

*Coming from a very Catholic family, and being the good and committed daughter that she is, Keisha renounced to abortion. She graduated with her bump starting to show. Her bf, thinking the kid was his, agreed to settle down with Keisha and help her raising the baby. They moved to South Carolina where he found a job as a teacher, Keisha gave birth to a beautiful boy that she named Noah, and they lived together for two years. They eventually broke up when Keisha confessed to her partner that he wasn't the baby's dad.

*Keisha went back to the Bronx only to find out the place she used to know had turned into a warzone. The Nocentis who had been protecting the neighborhood for decades were severely weakened now that the drug market had been stolen from them by an international cartel. Joaquin, Keisha's brother was out of juvenile hall and visibly not decided to go on the right track; he was now in bed with the local mafia.

*Tony was also irremediably on the wrong side of the fence at the moment. Keisha didn't want to know what he was doing exactly for his father and brothers, but the way people talked about him -the way they looked away when they mentioned his name- she knew it was probably bad. Very bad. When Tony saw Keisha coming back with her kid in her arms, he knew she would definitely always be out of his reach. He knew he was involved in very nasty shit, he didn't like or dislike his situation ; it was the way it was. He just knew it wasn't for her, he was ready to give up on her. He didn't understand why she came back. He had no idea he was the main reason.

*Shortly before the events of Blindsight ; Joaquin is killed by the Nocentis out of retaliation. Silver Nocenti is severely wounded after an altercation with an individual named Shaun Myers who happens to be closely related to the mortal enemy of the Nocenti family. Silver succumbed to his wounds a few days after that, in his hospital bed.

*When the 'Blindsight-extended-story-that-doesnt-have-a-name-yet' begins, Tony and Keisha are both mourning the loss of a younger brother, Keisha is doing money laundering for the Nocentis to pay back her brother's debts on top of breaking her back at the local diner to get money to feed her kid, while being blackmailed by Marco, Tony's older brother who's got his eyes on her. Tony is busy with the criminal stuff and the grief and the vendetta, and he doesn't know he's the father of Keisha's son. Ofc these idiots are still in love.

It's a mess but I think you got the pitch now *sweats nervously*

The Wise Child & The Backward Man

The book is about:

Being ostracized socially for being "different."

At School the kid that should be on drugs or sucks at tests

To Being told there is nothing wrong with me reinforced by my dad that I can change anything as long as I chose to and put in the effort

Intellectual Problem Solver without Context watching his parents hate each other and wondering why everybody at school is constantly conspiring to play without him

Fast forward to an abusive stepmother diagnosing me with borderline personality disorder and manic depression, just like her.

She prescribed me an adult dose of Effexor & Zyprexia at age 12 while introducing me to other creative ways of getting strung out.

I was then forgotten about on my Rehab Graduation Day. Age 14/15.

Eventually I became homeless. I called myself a Gypsy while pirating the countryside on the back of a freight train.

Later I gave up care-free hedonism for an identity crisis with the best butt-tattoo I've ever seen. On a penny, we were newly wed.

This convinced me I was a Narcissistic Psychopath with Schizophrenic Superpowers. That was what my Schizophrenic Ex-Wife, who legit probably has superpowers, told me; before and after she vanished into thin air.

Then after faking it until I didn't make it, I accepted my perfect nature as seen in the eyes of God which included looking into the face of the backward man, the man I hated more than anyone.

Complete depression ensued as I could never match up to what I thought perfection was or shake the backward man and his reign over my psyche.

I fell into a syringe of instant gratification and complete self-annihilation.

Somewhere in there I learned to love in the most hateful of places.

Eventually learning to love people more than they love their selves, and by proxy learning to love myself through the people who hated me.

AND THEN, I unlocked what would seem to be "divine insight" to one without context. It's really just careful attention to everything that impacts the thing you're connecting with.

What are the Trees saying?

As for personal truth, every action I've taken with regard to that conclusion has borne fruit. I don't believe a test result could possibly touch that. Since I've concluded my own diagnosis, or in other words, since I found the truth about myself; impactful revelations continue to overwhelm my narrative thinker.

I'm equipped with effective tools because I better understand myself and my relation to the world around me. I can see certain behaviors of my own for what they are, instead of what I want people to believe they are. This gives me a sense of ownership over myself, in a place that was previously occupied by a sad Lion looking for courage.

An interesting analogy for the sake of shaping your perspective is this: When you walk into a dark closet to look for a pair of shoes, you turn on the light. The light doesn't care about what you were looking for, so it is not just the shoes which are hopefully illuminated. Everything in the closet can now be seen all at once.

Some things you may not have context for. Those things you will later perceive in memory once the context fills the void but will not be nearly as impactful as receiving and understanding in the now.

Whether you wanted to see what's in the closet is irrelevant. Your interpretation of your feelings translated into words came last to turning the light on and finding whatever was in that closet. In other words, your feelings don't define reality, but they can dictate your next move if you let them. For example, you could act like the whole experience never happened; didn't someone say walking barefoot was good for you?

Collect all thirty notes and books in the game to replace the first book in your file with Jill’s Diary. Jill’s Diary reads as followed:

Epilogues

Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting to unlock an Epilogue. Epilogues are a short diary description of each character in the entire Resident Evil series which describes what happened with that specific person after their adventure. Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting eight times to unlock all Epilogues. All eight Epilogues read as followed:

Alternate Costumes

Successfully complete the game on the easy difficulty setting with any rank better than an F to unlock Jill’s costume from the original Resident Evil and Regina’s costume from Dino Crisis. Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting with a rank of D to unlock two costumes, C for three, B for four, and A for all five costumes. The three additional costumes are a police miniskirt, disco, and biker outfits.

Boutique Key

Successfully complete the game once and wait for the credits to end, then save the “Next Game” file to receive the key to the Boutique on the first street at the start of the game. Use the key to enter and change into an alternate costume.

Mercenary Mode

Successfully complete the game once on any difficulty setting and wait for the credits to end, then save the “Next Game” file to unlock “The Mercenaries” mini-game. Start a new game, choose that saved game, then select “The Mercenaries” mode. This mode involves controlling Carlos, Mikhal, or Nikoli from the train to the starting room with a two minute timer. Killing the various opponents and rescuing civilians during the journey will add extra money and more time to the clock. A rank and money will be awarded after the game is completed. The money can be used to purchase better weapons and infinite ammunition.

S Ranking

When defeating the game, you get different rankings based on how long it took you. The S ranking is the highest, and you get the best extra goodies from acheiving this ranking. In order to get this ranking, you have to beat the game in under 3 mins 30 secs. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED THE LEECH HUNTER GAME! Beat the game once to unlock the Leech Hunter game and collect all 100 lecches (It’s easier if you kill all the enemies first and then drop all you items and look for the leeches). By doing this, you will get extra guns and unlimited ammo. Now you don’t have to worry about collecting ammo or switching characters as often.

Broken Ladder

Do you not know what to do with the hookshot on the train? Remember the broken ladder in the room where you first saw zombies. Use the hookshot there to get you on the roof. On the roof have Rebecca jump into a hole. Kill the zombie and get your briefcase key.

Easy Kill

When killing a monster be sure to find its weak spot and the best weapon to use against it. I’ll will list the weak spots I know and the weapon to use.

Zombie- The best spot is the head. I like to use the pistol on them because they're not that hard to kill (why waste your good bullets). Leeches- Don't even waste your bullets on them. Watch your partner, make sure he doesn't waste your bullets on them. Leech Men- It's best to run past them to if you can, but if that's not possible then use your molotvo cocktails. If you don't have any then shoot off his head so he can't see you or shoot off his arms so he can't hit you. If you hit him enough he will be nothing but a pair of legs. Thats when you run because he will blow up with in a few seconds. Spiders- Spiders aren't that hard to kill but, they are very sneaky. Watch the walls because thats where they usually are. Make sure they don't hit you with poison.I would suggest the shotgun. Insect Larva- They aren't that hard. You can sometimes hear them from a distance unless they're on the cieling. I would suggest the shotgun. Monkeys- Monkeys are very fast and hard to hit. Make sure they don't jump on your back. I like to use the Grenade Launcher. If not then the shotgun. Scorpions- They look big and hard, but the aren't. Aim at their head with the shotgun. Dogs- Dogs are fast and hard to hit but other than that they're pretty easy. I suggest the pistol. Skinless Beasts- They can be kind of difficult because of they're speed and power. I used the Grenade Launcher on them.

The Brakes Code For The Train (Only)

The code is quite simple if your stuck, then you come to the right place. There are then little dots, you have to fill each one out with a number or you can’t complete the code. When you reach the driver car have Rebecca stay and then have Billy go to where you got the hookshot, don’t forget the magnetic card. When you reach the place where you got the hookshot just insert the card and you’ll need a total to equal 81, then just insert 9 eight times then insert 3 twice that should equal 81. The next code with Rebecca will probably be 36 just select 3 nine times then just insert 9 then that should complete the code for the Brakes.
