#i will say i don't think the 800cc era was AS bad as they're saying. like to be clear it was bad but#i would say on average you had about half a dozen watchable races per season#the lows were definitely way lower than the current era but the highs (about three races) phewwww#really making a good case here huh. anyway if anyone does want to watch a full 800cc season then go 2007 or 2008 yeah#//#brr brr#race rec tag#vaguely#btw anon who sent me the jorge + dani race recs ask - I will get to you but it might take a while. they did do a lot of races#it has prompted me to flick through the wikipedia pages season by season. and looking at 2011 you do go 'wow all of this was worthless'#unless you are literally a casey super fan (me) i would not recommend it. just go watch the laguna 2011 overtake fifty times#or maybe you're looking for something to fall asleep to ig#also i did say i'd do the laguna 2008 long post first and after listening to the podcast ep i am once again Thinking about them#what the podcast bros were saying about valentino's “ruthlessness”........... how they both would've rather died than finished second......#vale knowing he needed to do it!! he needed to do something insane to stop perfect little casey stoner with all the raw talent in the WORLD#they make me so gahhhh#heretic tag
