Is anyone else noticing ableism ramp up a lot
I'm wondering if it's a general trend or I'm unlucky
#ableism#disabled#disability#chronically ill#i was using my cane and limping a lot and a bus bench was half covered in food and half this tiny woman's plastic tote#i asked her to move it and she just silently poured the food on the bench and didnt mive her tote#and then yelled at me that i was ungrateful and if i thought I was too good to sit on food#so yeah. that happened. was already in a low mood and was in pain#when i sat on the ground instead she accused me of trying to make her feel bad and intensified#continued it on the bus until the bus driver kicked her out#thats like the biggest one of month. last month my sister got told they shouldnt bring people like me in clubs#its just escalating . more small things and bigger big things
