Caught some axolotls while I was out on an adventure. Decided to build them a kickass aquarium complete with redstone lighting and viewing platforms.
The golden one in particular seems to like attention. Comes up a lot to pose.
#minecraft#axolotl#lemme tell you this entire room took like two whole real-world days to build#mostly because i was concerned with what materials to use for the floor walls and ceiling#and for the patterns thereof#plus the lighting#but it was worth it#listen i know these are only clusters of AI and textures#but damn it let me give them what sanctuaries call 'enrichment'#like the hidey-holes and plants#side note: i also brought home a shit-ton of cats on that same trip#idk if i should name them#i was thinking of naming the light-cyan one something like 'petra the destroyer'#with a deadpan expression like that they can't be up to anything good
