the limit does not exist!
how spencer helps college!reader understand a little calculus and therefore understand how he loves her.
MDNI | smut word count: 1931 warnings & tags & stuff: fem reader, fingering, oral sex (f receiving), lil bit of overstim hehe, pure unbridled affection, LOVE, FLUFF, hugging, reader cries, this was in fact meant to be written for spence's birthday... sorry about that school is kicking my butt lets just pretend it's october! author's note: this one is for my folks who HATE their calculus class and want spencer reid to give them head instead <3 maybe this can help you romanticize it a bit. i think this is classified as self indulgentâŠlike REALLY self indulgent⊠hah... anyway i hope you enjoy! let me know your thoughts if u have any, i loveeeee you!! have a great day my hands are shaking posting this smut is so scary!!!!!
You sat in bed, staring down your notebook, eyes narrowed. Limits stared back at you. You were just about at your own limit, if you were being honest.Â
Your brain, however sharp and witty it may be, is absolutely not one designed for calculus. A literary analysis essay? Done in half an hour. In depth scientific research project? Easiest months of your life. But thereâs something about finding the instantaneous rate of change of a curve at one point in time by finding the slope of a tangent line that hasn't clicked yet.Â
A slew of other papers- notes, practice worksheets printed from obscure websites, and formulas- surround you, a sea of unfinished thoughts from the past month of the semester.
You bite on the end of your pen, the little hope you had for a good grade in this class slipping further and further away with each passing moment, like the last ember dying in the remains of a fire.
What you really wanted to be doing was celebrating Spencerâs birthday with him right now. A chocolate cake lay on the kitchen counter and pasta simmers on the stove, but you and your boyfriend had agreed to do a solid hour of work before the celebrations ensued.
You were never particularly strong willed when it came to following through on such agreements.
âTeach me calculus,â you say, a very impressive three minutes later, flopping down on the couch. Your head makes its way to its forever resting spot, Spencerâs lap. He raises his eyebrows slightly, thumb reaching out to trace over the slope of your nose. His eyes flit between you and the file to the side of him.Â
âI thought we agreed on an hour.â
âYeah. But it wouldnât be a very productive hour if I didnât know how to do what I have to do. And I missed you.âÂ
He sighs quietly, closing the file next to him.Â
âWhat do you not understand?â You smile at that, loving how quickly you won.
âRelated rates. Like, conceptually.âÂ
Spencer hums in response.
âItâs October. Youâre not even supposed to know related rates yet.â
âFine. Then let's open presents,â you respond, smiley. His eyebrows get impossibly higher, hand stroking your cheek delicately.
âNo. I want our night to be a little more stress free when we celebrate, okay? How about you think about that lovely cake you made for me. What if I decided to squash it so that the diameter would get bigger, going fromâŠletâs say, 20 centimeters to 26 centimeters in 3 seconds, and the height would get smal-â
âThat wouldn't be nice. It took me like four hours,â you interrupt, grumbling. He cracks a smile.
âFor the sake of the example, let's say I was an awful boyfriend and really wanted to ruin all the hard work you put in for me.â
You roll your eyes.
âHey,â he says, hand moving down to touch your jaw softly. âDonât do that. Donât be difficult. Iâm helping you.â
âSorry. I guess I need you to zoom out a little. I donât really get why Iâm learning this as a whole.â Spencerâs eyes pore into yours, staring down at you adoringly for a small moment as he comes up with an answer.
âCalculus helps us begin to explain the unexplainable by harnessing what we can,â Spencer says simply. âEinstein once said that, âPure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas,â which makes it simple in practice, but I actually like to think about it as the opposite philosophically. Trying to find logic in the more poetic ideas.â
You cuddle deeper in his lap.
âThink he would agree with that?â you ask. âI do answer to Einstein before you, unfortunately.â Spencer bends down to kiss your hair.
âI think so. He also had a really nice quote where he remarked that, âGravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love.â He said, âHow on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.ââ
Spencer takes a deep breath.
âMath doesnât explain how I love you. It canât. But I love the fact that it tries to. It kinda makes you wanna learn it as best you can.â
You process that for a long second and nod. He keeps talking.
âŠÂ
Presents get opened, and cake gets eaten before dinner. Of course.
Youâre now in bed, on top of the covers, forcing Spencer to give you a fashion show of the new sweater vest and tie you got him. He turns to you after putting it on, and you beam.Â
âI really like it. You look great. Do you like it?â you ask. He nods, smiling back at you.
âIâm gonna wear it to work tomorrow.âÂ
You beckon for Spencer to come closer, sitting up in bed. Your hands go out to the tie, tugging at the knot softly. He stares down at you until eventually interrupting your motions with a slow kiss, hands cupping your face.
âYouâre so pretty,â he mutters.
He pulls away and finishes what you started, folding the tie neatly and setting it in the drawer. Then comes the vest, and soon enough, heâs just in his boxers.
âYouâre the pretty one,â you say quietly. âCome to bed.â He crawls on next to you, tugging you into his arms. âHappy birthday, Spence. I love you.â He dips his forehead to your shoulder.
âI love you.â
Before you know it, heâs shifted on top of you, moving down. Fast. You blink, hard, trying to rid your head of the hazy endorphins as you register what heâs doing.
âWhat? No, I was gonna do that. Itâs your birthday. You donât have to,â you protest.
âBut I really, really want to, darling girl,â he murmurs back, kissing your knee and softly pushing it to the side.
You fluster and Spencer just looks at you, fingers tracing shapes on your waist, waiting for you to be ready.Â
âWell. Um. Okay. If you insist. I canât really deny the birthday boy.â Your voice is small, and a little giddy smile grows on your face. Of course Spencer Reid would want to give you head on his birthday.Â
He smiles a little against the bare skin of your hip where your top meets your shorts. Then he meets your eyes.Â
âYou know you can, though, right?â he asks, voice a little more serious. You reach out to touch his hair softly.Â
âYeah. I know.â
Fingers hook your shorts, gently pulling them down. He presses a kiss to your thigh, and then he suddenly looks down at it.Â
âSoft,â he murmurs, like heâs making a mental note. He presses another, and another, incrementally going closer and closer to your soaked through underwear. His eyebrows scrunch when he sees the wet spot. âAll this from a few kisses?âÂ
You blush, unable to respond.Â
Spencerâs fingers hook a centimeter of your underwear. âThese?â he checks.
âYes, please,â you manage. He tugs them down, silently noticing the slickness of your sex, and exhales shakily.
âHow many times on average does it take for a guy to call you pretty on a given day before you get annoyed?â he murmurs, soft smile playing on his face. You smile too, head cloudy from his words, but it immediately drops when his lips press directly against your pulsing clit, kissing it softly.
âFuck,â you say (Spencer would argue moan) softly (loudly). You let out a content sigh, and he moves to suckle it, actions becoming less and less delicate.Â
Itâs not harsh, but incessant. Spencer knows what you can take. He knows exactly what you can take. Youâre both quiet for a bit, save for your breathy moans.Â
âSpencer,â you say softly, ripping you both out of your individually hazy and dirty and distracted minds. âYouâre too far away.â He looks up to you, face parallel to your aching core, hair beautifully messy and mouth glistening.
After a second, he grabs your hips, gently pushing you up against the pillows so youâre propped up at a better angle. He then shifts his body up wordlessly so heâs more above you, dipping his head down to give you a soft kiss. You taste yourself, tongue darting out to lick your lips.
His hand takes over where his mouth was, sliding in between your folds with a practiced ease. Spencer looks down at you, eyes wide and flitting between yours, searching for a reaction.
You reach out and wrap your arms around him, holding him close. âHoly shit, I love you,â you murmur.
His fingers lightly graze your clit again before one slides into you. âAngel,â he breathes out, so quietly. âI love you too. This okay? Are you okay?â
You nod feverishly and lift your hips to meet his hand, always in a perpetual state of wanting more, to be closer. Your bodies are melded so close together, barely giving him room to push his hand into you. He doesnât even bother to ask you to use your words or keep your hips down, like he might on a regular night.
He pulls his head back to watch as he pushes another finger into you, stretching you just a little. âThere we go. You always feel like heaven around me.â
Your eyes flit up to his face as he says those words, now having a little more room to observe him. You focus on the slope of his nose and curve of his mouth.Â
âYouâre so perfect,â you say quietly, adoringly, before you even realize it was true.
You blink at that thought. Spencer Reid is perfect, despite whatever universal odds deeming that impossible.
Those graphs, those formulas, now laying discarded & crumpled on the ground. They click, a little bit. You understand why Albert Einstein wanted to spend his life developing theories of relativity.
This is how Spencer sees you? What he was talking about earlier?
This is how he sees you?
The thought is almost too much.
Spencer sees your face, and not knowing what's going on in your head, slides down his free hand from your cheek to your carotid, feeling your racing pulse. âTake a deep breath for me, okay? You're about to come, huh?â
You inhale and are met with peace. Then your orgasm hits you like a wave. You clench hard around his fingers, and he just watches it happen, fascinated. âBaby,â he coos softly at you.
It wasnât just your sensitivity heâs currently maximizing on or the little kisses he dips down to leave on your neck that sealed the deal, but the very thought that you could be loved in a way that is so perfectly impossible.
You exhale breathily as Spencer pushes you through the last trails of your climax, fingers not caring one bit that you just had your world tilted on its axis.Â
âSpencer. Ohmygodohmygodohmygod,â you say eventually, overstimulated.
âYouâre okay. Did so good.â he murmurs, fingers slipping out of you.Â
His thumb brushes your cheek, wiping away a tear you didn't even realize was dripping down.
âDonât cry, you always cry. Itâs my birthday. Donât cry on my birthday,â he whispers soothingly, affection lacing his voice.
âIâm not.âÂ
Another one falls.Â
You reach and press out that perpetual little slope between his eyebrows with your thumb, gentle, like you might break him. âIâm not crying.â
Spencer lets you lie.

hii i have a few requests i hope you dont mind đ„ș𫶠feel free to pick to do any if they have not been done yet, they are kinda mostly prompts though đ
sylus with a streamer/gamer s/o. like those fics where the fans go crazy when sylus shows up in the camera out of nowhere or hearing his voice. and sylus just being supportive about their hobby đâ€ïž
sylus reaction when they have a cosplayer s/o, especially when they come home every day and they meet a new character daily or every other day đđ€Ł
sylus reaction when s/o gets period stains during their date
sylus with s/o who cant cook but not the those exaggerated types where they burn the whole kitchen, they just didnt learn how to cook, but can do the bare minimum of helping like slicing and stuff and very easy recipes (projecting because i can't cook but am helpful đ)
when you get your period mid date
The evening had started off perfectly. You and Sylus were sitting across from each other in one of the fanciest restaurants in town, your skin-tight dress fitting you like a glove. The low lights, soft music and clinking of glasses around you added to the elegance of the night. Sylus looked especially handsome tonight, his gaze on you steady and smoldering and his signature teasing smile made your heart flutter.
Everything was going smoothlyâthat is, until you felt that familiar pang low in your abdomen. You froze, hoping it was just nerves. But then, you felt a sinking dread as the sensation intensified. Trying not to panic, you excused yourself, offering Sylus a nervous smile. âIâll be right back, okay?â
âTake your time, sweetieâ he replied with a slight smirk. âDonât go missing me too much.â
You rolled your eyes playfully, giving him a quick wave before heading to the bathroom. But once you were inside, your worst fear was confirmed: a noticeable stain had appeared on the back of your dress. Panic bubbled up in your chest as you stared at your reflection in the mirror, mortified. This wasnât just any dress, either; it was a pale color, practically a magnet for accidents.
Not knowing what else to do, you took a shaky breath and pulled out your phone, dialing Sylusâs number with trembling fingers. He picked up on the first ring.
âMiss me already?â His voice was laced with humor, but you could practically hear the smile on his face.
âSylusâ you whispered, cringing at how shaky you sounded. âCan you⊠um⊠can you come to the bathroom? I need your help. Itâs an emergency.â
There was a beat of silence. âAre you hurt, kitten?â
âNo! No, not hurtâ you stammered, feeling your cheeks heat up. âJustâŠmy period..Iâm stained!â
âGot it. Stay right there, Iâm coming.â He hung up and you leaned against the counter, waiting anxiously. But as the seconds ticked by, you began to feel more and more self-conscious. What was taking him so long?
After what felt like an eternity, the bathroom door finally opened and there stood Sylusâwith a designer shopping bag in his hand. You blinked, trying to process the sight.
âSylus, whatâŠ?â You trailed off, completely baffled.
He smirked, holding up the bag. âWhat? Did you think I was going to leave my sweetie hanging?â He stepped forward, setting the bag down on the counter. âGot you a new dress. I figured you wouldnât want to be seen with⊠you know.â He gestured vaguely, clearly trying to spare you any embarrassment.
Your jaw dropped, both at his thoughtfulness and at the brand-name logo on the bag. âWait, you actually bought me a new dress? From there?â you asked, pointing out the door, toward the designer store just across the street.
He shrugged, feigning nonchalance. âSeemed like the right call. Plus, I got to take my time picking something pretty for you.â His smirk widened. âHad to make sure itâd look perfect on my kitten.â
You let out a small laugh, overwhelmed with relief and gratitude, though your cheeks burned at the thought of him going out of his way for this. âSylus, I⊠I donât know what to say.â
âHow about you say youâll wear it and let me get back to showing you off to the rest of the place?â he teased, handing the bag to you.
You reached for it, heart racing as you peeked inside. The dress was stunning, a rich, deep color that would look amazing on you, with a soft fabric that looked comfortable enough to help you feel more at ease.
âSylusâ you murmured, looking up at him with wide eyes. âThank you.â
He leaned down, brushing a soft kiss over your forehead. âAnything for you, sweetieâ he replied, his voice softer, his teasing tone gone for just a moment.
You felt your chest warm and you tried to look away, but he gently turned your face back toward him. âHey, donât get all shy on me nowâ he said, his smirk returning. âItâs cute, though. Didnât know I could get my girl so flustered.â
You laughed, half-embarrassed and half-touched and stepped back toward the stall to change. âIâll be right backâ you promised, disappearing inside and slipping on the new dress. When you stepped out, you felt a little self-conscious, smoothing the fabric over your hips.
Sylusâs gaze met yours, his eyes lighting up with admiration. âBeautifulâ he said simply, letting his gaze linger as if he were committing the sight to memory.
You felt your cheeks warm under his gaze but a smile crept onto your face as you looked at him. âThink we can go back and pretend like none of this happened?â
He chuckled, offering his arm with a grin. âOf course, kitten. Iâll even let you hold onto the bagâitâs yours, after all.â
You laughed, taking his arm, feeling a surge of confidence as he led you back to your table. Sylus didnât just make you feel taken care of; he made you feel cherished, like every little detail about you was worth his time.
And as you settled back into your seat, he gave you a wink. âNext time, just call me sooner. Anything to keep my kitten comfortable, you know?â
You smiled, knowing he meant every word. The rest of the night passed in a blur of laughter, stolen glances, and soft whispers and for the first time, you didnât feel an ounce of insecurityâyou were just glad to have Sylus by your side

boyfriend!steve who loves recording everything
wc: 899
a/n: been thinking about this a lot a lot and finally got around to writing it
.ă»ă.ă»ăâă».ă»â«ă»ăă»ă. .ă»ă.ă»ăâă».ă»â«ă»ăă»ă.
âand here we have my beautiful girlfriend who put this whole party together.â
you looked into the video camera for a brief second, drunkenly smiling into it before looking up at steve. âyouâre having way too much fun with this thing already, birthday boy.â
âwhat? itâs actually a very cool gift.â you could tell steve was a little drunk too, but you didnât think that wouldâve changed how into the gift he was; the camera the kids pooled their money together to get for him. âsay hi.â
âhi,â you said, smiling and looking right into the lens again, and then you playfully stuck your tongue out at it.Â
âi love you,â steve said with a soft happy laugh. âso much.â
âi love you too. so, so much,â you told him and he leaned down to kiss you.Â
âthank you again for doing this whole thing,â he mumbled against your lips. âbest surprise ever.â
you couldnât help but smile. âno need to thank me. you deserve it, best boyfriend ever.â
the camera was filming the wooden floor at this point, but it probably still picked up what you two were saying.Â
you pulled away from steve after a second, knowing that the longer you two were wrapped up in one another, the more your friends would playfully make fun of the two of you.
âyou should go film robin and nancy doing karaoke. i think that them drunkenly singing bohemian rhapsody needs to be documented.âÂ
steve nodded. âgreat idea.â
.ă»ă.ă»ăâă».ă»â«ă»ăă»ă. .ă»ă.ă»ăâă».ă»â«ă»ăă»ă.
after that first night, it shouldâve been obvious, but that camera became steveâs favorite thing. it almost made the new pair of nikes youâd gotten him look like the most boring gift ever, but you didnât really mind it. Â
it was always the most random moments that he wanted to record of you two. âfor memoriesâ was always his response when you asked why he wanted to record you two brushing your teeth in the morning or you two lying on the couch and watching a bad movie that he brought home from family video.Â
or even in this moment when you two were cooking in the kitchen of your shared apartment.
you immediately gave him a look when you noticed him turn on the camera. âsteve, youâre making it seem like weâre cooking something super elaborate. itâs just a grilled cheese.âÂ
âitâs still like a fun cooking show,â he said, smiling as he set the camera up on the counter, placing it on top of a stack of random containers. âwhat do you need, chef?â
there was no way of telling if either of you were actually in the frameâ you had a feeling that at least your heads were cut offâ but still, you decided to play along. he was acting too cute and adorable not to.Â
âbread and cheese, chef,â you told him as you went to grab a pan from the cabinet below you. âoh, and butter too.â
âgot it,â steve nodded and went over to the pantry and then the fridge, and then made a show of showing the camera all of the ingredients he grabbed.Â
you couldnât help but laugh a little as you watched him. you decided to play along further and follow suit as you did most of the actual cooking; making a point of showing the camera exactly what you were doing and even exaggeratingly explaining it too.Â
and when you two were eating at your small kitchen table ten minutes later, you admitted to steve with a smile that he was right, and filming everything did make it feel like a âfun cooking show.â
.ă»ă.ă»ăâă».ă»â«ă»ăă»ă. .ă»ă.ă»ăâă».ă»â«ă»ăă»ă.
and then there were the moments when you were the one to grab the camera and initiate the recording. it was seldom, but when you did do it, steve always got the happiest grin on his face.Â
like, in this moment, when you were coming out of the bathroom and grabbing steveâs t-shirt that had been haphazardly tossed to the floor thirty minutes earlier and slipping it over your body. for no particular reason, other than you found yourself wanting to, you grabbed the camera off of steveâs nightstand and then slid into his lap, straddling him.
he was already smiling as you turned on the camera and the familiar red light came on when you pressed record.Â
âsay hi,â you told him, your own smile on your face as you pointed the camera at him. his messy hair from what you two had previously been doing was probably the cutest thing youâd ever seen and you made sure the camera saw it.Â
he smiled wider. âhi.â
one of his hands found your bare thigh and you let out a contented hum in response.Â
ây'know, iâm surprised you havenât asked to film us yet,â you said softly. "us doing what we just didâŠâ
his eyes widened a bit at your shy suggestion and you smiled wider, zooming in on his expression. âis that an option?â
you stopped recording him then and reached over to set the camera back down on the nightstand.Â
âmaybe,â you answered, shrugging innocently. âi think it could be kinda hot.â
steve shook his head. ânot just kinda. very hot.â
you leaned down to kiss him then. it was slow and languid and steveâs hands immediately went to your waist, pulling you impossibly closer to him. Â
âvery hot,â you hummed in agreement.Â

I loved this and therfore have many thoughts
Early September was brutal in southern California. Each day seemed hotter than the one before it, and even the smallest bit of yard work was enough to leave Bradley sweaty and miserable. He stood in the middle of his front yard, eyes closed, thinking about how beautiful autumn was in Virginia when he was a kid. He leaned against the handle of the rake, picturing a pumpkin patch, a corn maze and all the things he would never find in San Diego.
đ„șđ„șđ„ș
What he didn't mention was the fact that he often still felt like a bit of an outsider in town, even though he attended all the neighborhood potlucks and still had some blond in his hair from hanging out on the local beaches all summer.
Poor Bradley đ„ș
"And you like the neighborhood?" you asked, fully facing him now with a smirk on your face. He shrugged the best he could without moving too much. "I might like it better now."
Oh he is such a flirt đ€
Then there was the day you bumped into him coming out of the salon next to his barber, and he complimented your colorful nails at the same time you told him his haircut looked nice. He blushed, and you smiled before turning toward your car, glancing back at him a little expectantly.Â
So cuteđ
"Why's that?" you asked, placing your hand on your hip while you held up a head of cabbage. "You're a picky eater?" He shook his head and took a step closer to you. "The exact opposite. I love food. I will eat literally anything that is edible." "I guess it makes sense that you love food," you told him with a smile. "You're a big boy." Your gaze drifted down along his shoulders and chest before you started to look a little embarrassed. "I... yeah... I think I'll just grab whatever looks good and take it from there. See you on Friday night?" "Yeah," he grunted as you walked toward an eggplant display. He would see you on Friday night. And he would be prepared ahead of time to ask you out.
He definitely is rehearsing, asking her out in front of the mirror as soon as he is home đ€
Once again, your laughter had him ready to drop what he was holding and reach for you. He had to ask you out tonight. It had been weeks already since you moved in, and you were definitely giving him a green light. He could think of a dozen different restaurants he wanted to take you to, and maybe you'd like the artsy little movie theater.
It's so cute that he has all these ideas already đ„č
He ran his hand over his face and groaned, parking in front of the restaurant and yanking his keys from the ignition. If he'd just asked you out that day, maybe he'd be picking up twice as much food and sharing it with you tonight.
Oh he is regretting all his life choices right then and there
The air was silent except for the muffled sound of food being prepared in the kitchen behind him. Your eyes looked so sad as you shook your head and pressed your lips together. "No. No, I'm sorry, Bradley."
Oh noooođđ„ș
For the first time since he moved to California, the air outside was too cold. There was an uncomfortable knot in his stomach as he glanced over at your car. He shivered miserably as he saw the shadow of someone waiting in your passenger seat. Then he drove home and ate alone in his kitchen before going to bed.
He is heartbroken before anything even happened đ đ„Č
Today was Halloween, and he spent over an hour carving some of the pumpkins to look like soccer balls before dressing in his usual costume. Handing candy out to the neighborhood kids and trying to guess what they were dressed as sounded like fun. He was determined to have a good night, even if he did have to angle the folding chair on his porch so he was facing slightly away from your house. He would enjoy himself no matter what.
đ„șđ„șđ„ș
"Where's Raphael?" he asked as they collected their candy. Leonardo laughed and said, "Nobody wants to be Raphael. He's the lamest one." "I would have to agree," Bradley replied, about to help himself to a piece of candy as they started to run to the next house.
I feel like Rooster is good with kids because he has the same interests as kids it seems đ
"Hi," you replied immediately, looking from his mustache to the whistle around his neck and back up to his visor. "Are you seriously dressed as Ted Lasso?" "I always dress as Ted Lasso," he told you, and he was rewarded with a smile that made him want to follow you around the neighborhood like a lost puppy.Â
Oh he 100% would
The kid nodded but said, "You need to call it a football." Bradley found himself agreeing. "You're completely right. It's only proper."
Come on Bradley, get into your roleâđ»
Your eyes were alert, scrutinizing his expression as you said, "His name is Max. He's almost ten." "He looks like you." You went silent for a few seconds, fiddling with the soccer ball in your hands. When you finally spoke, you were looking at Bradley's feet. "I knew you didn't know about him. I mean, you did ask me out after all." You laughed even though nothing was funny and finally looked up at his face. Then Max started to walk back the way you and he came, and you followed him. Bradley called your name. When you turned back, he said, "To be clear, I would have still asked you out if I'd known." And then you looked so sad again.
đ„șđ„Čđ
"It's a spicy buffalo dip," you replied, smile growing. "I literally made it with chicken from a can. I'm pretty sure you could trick them into thinking it came from your kitchen. You can even take your tortilla chips, too."
She truly made it thinking about him đ„č
His fingers tightened on the handles when you took a small step closer to him. This was agony, being so close to you when he really wanted to touch you, but knew he couldn't. He whispered your name at the same time you looked up at him and started talking. "Max isn't my son. He's my nephew. But I'm his legal guardian now." Bradley's lips parted, but you shook your head and quickly added. "The night of the last potluck, I got a phone call that my brother and his wife were in a car accident. They both died before they reached the hospital. I had to pick Max up from soccer practice that night, and he's been with me ever since." Tears were welling up in your eyes as Bradley tried to shuffle your crock pot to one hand. He knew how badly this kind of thing hurt from his own childhood. "Shit. I'm really sorry the two of you are going through this. But Max is lucky he has you." When you nodded and shrugged, you looked resigned to the way things were. "I'm also pretty sure Max prefers it when you call it football. Not soccer."
đđđ
Almost a year later, Bradley was standing in his front yard, smiling at the SOLD sticker placed on a realty sign in front of your house. It made sense to have you and Max move into the white cottage with him, because the porch was bigger. It was the perfect size for an elaborate Halloween display.
It was over almost as quickly as it started, and Bradley was ready to drop to his knees and beg you for more. But you were rambling now, and he was trying his best to focus. "I wanted you to ask me out so badly. But then everything changed, and I had to tell you no. Max has a lot he still needs to process, and I don't really have time to date someone who just wants to mess around with me." For the first time in many weeks, Bradley felt lighter than air. He reached out with his free hand and let his knuckles trail gently along your cheek and down to your softly parted lips. "I'm forty years old. I'm kind of over the messing around stage," he promised. And then you were kissing him again.
Ahhhh this is perfect đđ„°đ„łđ„čđ
I love it!! I feel like this is a role Bradley would thrive in, because of him loosing his parents young too, he would try the hardest and kinda knows what it can feel like or a person in a situation like that needs đ„čđ«¶đ»

The sound of something bigger than a car coming down his quiet side street had him cracking his eyes open against the Saturday afternoon sun. A U-Haul lumbered to a stop in front of the house across the street and one door down. The engine settled to silence, and he craned his neck to get a better look. The property had been sitting there with a red and white SOLD sticker over the realty sign for what seemed like months, and now it would appear as though he finally had a new neighbor.
Bradley dropped the rake and had to lunge to grab the handle before it clattered against his stone pathway. The woman who climbed out of the truck, hopping down onto the street in some beat up sneakers, was beautiful. The sun seemed to illuminate her from the inside, and now Bradley was setting the rake down softly as she walked around the truck and slid the back open. It was filled with furniture and boxes, and he watched as an avalanche nearly flowed out as she tried to move one item.
"Shit," he grunted, running across the street as he wiped his dirty hands on the hem of his undershirt. "It looks like you could use a hand," he called out, hoping he wouldn't scare you when he came up behind you just in time to catch a dining chair that was teetering above your head. Then the neatly stacked boxes started to give out as well, and his left hand went to steady them.
You were ducking slightly, preparing for the worst when Bradley realized your back was pressed against his chest. If he moved, there would be a lot of broken furniture to contend with. But then you glanced at him over your shoulder as you stood to your full height, eyes wide and lips parted in surprise.
If you looked beautiful from across the street, then you looked stunning up close, trapped between his body and the truck. "Welcome to the neighborhood," he mumbled like an idiot, but he was rewarded by the smile that curled along your lips.
"Hey, you're pretty good at being neighborly," you replied, gesturing to his right hand holding the chair and his left securing the stack of boxes. His heartbeat quickened at the sound of your voice and how close you were as you told him your name and asked which house was his.
"I'm Bradley. The white cottage across the street." He nodded toward his mess of a front yard with his chin. "I moved in about six months ago."Â
What he didn't mention was the fact that he often still felt like a bit of an outsider in town, even though he attended all the neighborhood potlucks and still had some blond in his hair from hanging out on the local beaches all summer. At the moment, all he could do was fight the urge to tell you how pretty your eyes were.
"And you like the neighborhood?" you asked, fully facing him now with a smirk on your face.
He shrugged the best he could without moving too much. "I might like it better now."
Your eyes widened a bit before you ducked your head, looking up at him with a surprised smile like you couldn't quite believe what he'd just said. And that's when Bradley heard another vehicle pull up behind him. "That would be my friends. Here to help me unpack."
He wanted to joke that it looked like you needed all the help you could get with your furniture avalanche, but he heard several voices calling your name and rushing over to help. He was invited to stay, but when he was finally able to safely back away without anything falling, he realized four other people were there to help you out.
Your eyes were still focused on his as he started to back away. "I'll see you around?" you asked before chewing on your lip.
"I would count on it," he confirmed, turning back toward his house so you could get settled into yours.
But he did hear one of your friends ask, "Who is he?"
"Bradley," you replied, just barely loud enough for him to hear. "From the white cottage."
--------------------------------
After that first encounter, he saw you everywhere. You were pulling into the parking spot next to his Bronco when he came out of the grocery store. When he asked how you liked your new house, it sparked a conversation about hardwood versus porcelain tile flooring, and Bradley's ice cream was completely melted by the time he got home.
Then there was the day you bumped into him coming out of the salon next to his barber, and he complimented your colorful nails at the same time you told him his haircut looked nice. He blushed, and you smiled before turning toward your car, glancing back at him a little expectantly.Â
Then he ran into you at the farmer's market where you were buying vegetables for the upcoming neighborhood potluck. You asked him what he thought you should make.
"Well, I'm the wrong person to ask," he replied, feeling a little lightheaded as his brain begged him to ask you out on a date.
"Why's that?" you asked, placing your hand on your hip while you held up a head of cabbage. "You're a picky eater?"
He shook his head and took a step closer to you. "The exact opposite. I love food. I will eat literally anything that is edible."
Your bright laughter cascaded across his skin as your head tipped back. The expanse of your neck looked smooth and perfect, and Bradley wanted to have your permission to put his lips there. And that was a startling thought since nobody had really caught his attention like this since he was first stationed in San Diego. Nobody made him feel like he was at home in his house before you started waving to him whenever you saw him outside.
"I guess it makes sense that you love food," you told him with a smile. "You're a big boy." Your gaze drifted down along his shoulders and chest before you started to look a little embarrassed. "I... yeah... I think I'll just grab whatever looks good and take it from there. See you on Friday night?"
"Yeah," he grunted as you walked toward an eggplant display. He would see you on Friday night. And he would be prepared ahead of time to ask you out.
----------------------------
"No," you gasped. Bradley recognized your voice and turned around to face you in Mrs. Diaz's kitchen. "That's what you brought to the potluck?" You sounded appalled, but you were clearly smiling as you looked at what he was holding.
"I told you I liked to eat food, not that I knew how to cook anything."
"Bradley," you groaned, shaking your head at the bag of chips and jar of salsa in his hands. "This is bad. Next time, I'll prepare two dishes so you can pretend you made one."
His heart skipped a beat at the idea of handing you things in his kitchen and watching you make something as nice as the lasagna you were holding. "It's useless," he replied with a frown. "After six months of bringing restaurant style tortilla chips and medium salsa, nobody would believe I cooked anything."
But he watched you get swept up in conversation after conversation, and then the opportunity slipped away when you ducked away from everyone to answer a call. You had a concerned look on your face with your phone pressed to your cheek, and then you were rushing out of Mrs. Diaz's house and along her front path before you disappeared from view.
Suddenly it was well into October, and he'd barely seen you at all. There were a few mornings that felt cool enough to coax him to buy some pumpkins for his front porch. He thought about taking one over to your house as an excuse to finally ask you out, but he figured you must be pretty busy right now. Maybe work got a little crazy. He tried not to imagine that someone else had asked you out and that was the reason why you were so scarce.
"Damn," he grunted when he drove his Bronco past your house on his way to get some takeout for dinner on a Saturday night. He just couldn't stop thinking about you. Why didn't he ask you out that first day when he saved you from your dining chair? He ran his hand over his face and groaned, parking in front of the restaurant and yanking his keys from the ignition. If he'd just asked you out that day, maybe he'd be picking up twice as much food and sharing it with you tonight.
A minute later, when he turned to leave the restaurant with his bag, he could not believe his luck. You were walking inside. "Hey."
You glanced up, and for the briefest second, you smiled at him like you always used to. "Bradley." But then your smile started to fade away slowly, and he would do anything to bring it back.
His heart was pounding, and his brain was screaming at him, so he squared his shoulders and did the only thing he could do. "Hey, if you're free tomorrow night, I was thinking maybe you and I could get dinner? Or hit up the movie theater on Pomona? The seats are uncomfortable, but they show some indie stuff which could be fun. Or maybe another night might work?"
The air was silent except for the muffled sound of food being prepared in the kitchen behind him. Your eyes looked so sad as you shook your head and pressed your lips together. "No. No, I'm sorry, Bradley."
Well, fuck.
He backed away from you until he bumped into the wall, and then he focused on getting to the door. "Right," he replied after he had a few more feet between your body and his. "Well, I'll see you around the neighborhood."
For the first time since he moved to California, the air outside was too cold. There was an uncomfortable knot in his stomach as he glanced over at your car. He shivered miserably as he saw the shadow of someone waiting in your passenger seat. Then he drove home and ate alone in his kitchen before going to bed.
---------------------------------
Bradley tried his best not to think about you. One day last week, when he saw your front door swing open, he waited to step down from his porch so you wouldn't have to wave awkwardly to him. And yesterday, for lack of anything better to do, he bought more pumpkins, and he waited in his driveway to unload them until you carried all of your groceries inside your house.Â
Bradley lit the candles inside his pumpkins and dropped down into the chair with a bowl of candy as the afternoon sky turned dusky. It didn't take long until a toddler dressed as a witch made an appearance with her dad, and Bradley had a good laugh when she reached for three pieces of candy.
"Trick or treat!" shouted three kids dressed as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
"Where's Raphael?" he asked as they collected their candy.Â
Leonardo laughed and said, "Nobody wants to be Raphael. He's the lamest one."
"I would have to agree," Bradley replied, about to help himself to a piece of candy as they started to run to the next house.
But then he saw you. And you weren't alone. You were dressed as a soccer player, complete with knee socks and a soccer ball, and you were accompanied by an approximately ten year old kid who looked a lot like you. He was also dressed as a soccer player, and he smiled at Bradley as he said, "Trick or treat."
Bradley stood up, still holding onto the bowl of candy so the child could make his selection while he got a better look at you. "Hey."
"Hi," you replied immediately, looking from his mustache to the whistle around his neck and back up to his visor. "Are you seriously dressed as Ted Lasso?"
"I always dress as Ted Lasso," he told you, and he was rewarded with a smile that made him want to follow you around the neighborhood like a lost puppy.Â
"Of course you do," you said, letting your gaze drift toward the child who was currently looking closely at the soccer ball pumpkins while holding onto a Snickers bar. "Somehow you match with us."
The boy looked up at Bradley and asked, "Did you carve these yourself? They look pretty good."
"Yeah," he replied, wishing he actually had taken the time to drop a pumpkin or two off on your porch. "I have perfected the soccer ball technique, kiddo."
The kid nodded but said, "You need to call it a football."
Bradley found himself agreeing. "You're completely right. It's only proper."
When the kid turned back to explore the rest of the pumpkin display a little more, Bradley took a step closer to you. "I didn't know you had a son," he said softly.
Your eyes were alert, scrutinizing his expression as you said, "His name is Max. He's almost ten."
"He looks like you."
You went silent for a few seconds, fiddling with the soccer ball in your hands. When you finally spoke, you were looking at Bradley's feet. "I knew you didn't know about him. I mean, you did ask me out after all." You laughed even though nothing was funny and finally looked up at his face. Then Max started to walk back the way you and he came, and you followed him.Â
Bradley called your name. When you turned back, he said, "To be clear, I would have still asked you out if I'd known."
And then you looked so sad again.
------------------------------
To Bradley's amazement, the weather finally cooled to the perfect temperature in November, but he found he didn't want to be outside as much. It was a shame, because if he stood in the middle of his yard and closed his eyes, he could almost imagine he was in Virginia.Â
One Friday after work, he cleaned the slightly rotten pumpkins from his porch and dragged his trash bin to the curb. Your front door was open, and he paused to see if you or Max happened to walk past it before heading back inside his empty house.
There was another potluck tonight, but he just didn't even feel like going. He had the usual chips and salsa on his kitchen counter, but he had no desire to socialize with the neighbors. He was about to change into gym shorts and surrender to a cold beer and a basketball game on TV when there was a knock on his door.
When he glanced through the front window, he saw that it was you, and his heart seemed to drag him toward the door. He was turning the knob before he thought better of it, and he was met with your wide eyes and a crock pot in your hands.
"Hi. Bradley."
"Hey." He swallowed hard before he said your name, and your lips turned up into a soft smile. "Is that for the potluck?"
"Yeah," you said, reaching out to hand the crock pot to him. "Well, I actually made it for you to take. Max and I will be bringing lasagna again."
Whatever Bradley was holding smelled so good, his stomach started to growl. "I can't take this. Nobody will believe I made it," he murmured, nudging at the lid with his thumb.
"It's a spicy buffalo dip," you replied, smile growing. "I literally made it with chicken from a can. I'm pretty sure you could trick them into thinking it came from your kitchen. You can even take your tortilla chips, too."
His fingers tightened on the handles when you took a small step closer to him. This was agony, being so close to you when he really wanted to touch you, but knew he couldn't. He whispered your name at the same time you looked up at him and started talking.Â
"Max isn't my son. He's my nephew. But I'm his legal guardian now." Bradley's lips parted, but you shook your head and quickly added. "The night of the last potluck, I got a phone call that my brother and his wife were in a car accident. They both died before they reached the hospital. I had to pick Max up from soccer practice that night, and he's been with me ever since."
Tears were welling up in your eyes as Bradley tried to shuffle your crock pot to one hand.
You laughed, maybe in spite of yourself, but Bradley still loved how it sounded. You briefly glanced over your shoulder toward your house and swiped at your tears as you said, "He absolutely does. He also keeps asking me about Ted Lasso across the street and his football pumpkins. I told him you're nice."
Bradley's heart had him dragging his feet closer to you, holding onto the warm pot of buffalo chicken dip for dear life. "Is that so?"
You nodded and stared at Bradley's chest for a few seconds before meeting his eyes again. Your lips parted several times before you whispered his name, and he leaned in a bit closer. After a few seconds, he started to step back, but your hand settled lightly on his shoulder, stopping him. Before he could react, you closed the remaining space, pressing your lips to his in a tentative kiss.
It was over almost as quickly as it started, and Bradley was ready to drop to his knees and beg you for more. But you were rambling now, and he was trying his best to focus. "I wanted you to ask me out so badly. But then everything changed, and I had to tell you no. Max has a lot he still needs to process, and I don't really have time to date someone who just wants to mess around with me."
For the first time in many weeks, Bradley felt lighter than air. He reached out with his free hand and let his knuckles trail gently along your cheek and down to your softly parted lips. "I'm forty years old. I'm kind of over the messing around stage," he promised. And then you were kissing him again.
The three of you walked to Mrs. Diaz's house together that evening. Bradley carried the crock pot, you carried the lasagna, and Max carried the tortilla chips. The conversation was mainly focused on how badly Max wanted to learn how to carve a football pumpkin.
Almost a year later, Bradley was standing in his front yard, smiling at the SOLD sticker placed on a realty sign in front of your house. It made sense to have you and Max move into the white cottage with him, because the porch was bigger. It was the perfect size for an elaborate Halloween display.

đđđđđđđđ; đđđđ đđđđđđđ
summary: your uniform gets shrunken in the wash and shrinks a decent size smaller. Buck who already has feelings for you is more than flustered at the sight of your shirt hugging your plump tits.
word count: 1k
warnings: brief smut (nothing major), plus size!reader, fem!reader, no use of y/n, mentions of tit play + fucking, p in v??
notes: part two incoming
divider credit: @v6que
Buck felt his jaw drop as soon as you walked into the firehouse. The way your fat tits pressed desperately against the navy fabric of your work uniform, the shirt visibly much tighter than usual. His cheeks were already a bright shade of red, hot and embarrassed at the tent already threatening to form in his pants. He adjusted in his seat as you made your way over. Buck tried to hide his arousal from the rest of the team, hoping his flustered state would go unnoticed.Â
You let out a sigh as you reach the team, all spread out over the second floor of the station. Bobby was in the kitchen drying some dishes, Chim and Hen on the couch and Eddie with Buck at the table. Everyoneâs attention is turned to you, greeting you like usual before they resume their previous activities. You turn to Buck who youâre closest to, noticing how it seems he hasn't looked away from you. You realise his gaze is glued to your chest before it quickly bounces back up to meet your eyes with a hard swallow.  Â
You make a defeated- almost embarrassed face as you pull out the chair next to Buck and sit down. âMy shirt shrunk in the dryer! All my tops were wet and I was desperate to get at least one dry before my shift.â You pull at the fabric that if it wasnât for your boobs would be hugging your stomach, wanting desperately for it to be looser. âLesson learnt, I guess.â, you add with a huff.
Buck, stammering on his words, tries to comfort you, âIf it helps, I think you look amazing.â It was painfully clear to Buck now that this was going to be one very hard shift to get through. The knowing chuckle that leaves Eddieâs lips at his best friend barely breaks Bucks trance but it shifts your attention away and onto the dark haired man across from you.Â
âWhat?â, you practically whine, feeling increasingly insecure and annoyed, the shirt making you feel claustrophobic. At least eventually youâd have your gear on and thereâd be no need to be insecure. In your rush this morning you hadnât even remembered to pick up your jacket that could have been worn in the meantime.Â
âNothing.âEddie shakes his head with a grin. Buck spares him a warning glance, battling to get himself in control. Who would have thought heâd get this worked up over a shrunken shirt. Buck already knew he was attracted to you, painfully aware in fact. Eddie was also aware that his best friend was swooning, always encouraging the blond to make a move. âJust ask her out for drinks!â, heâd practically plead so he would stop having to hear Buckâs incessant ranting. But despite Buckâs confident nature and the fact he could probably have any man or woman he wanted, he remained too timid to make a move.Â
You roll your eyes only half heartedly, letting a small grin take over your features as you fall into natural conversation with Eddie. Buck stays quiet next to you, daydreaming. Imagining all the things he wants to do with those plump tits of yours.Â
He imagines taking off that shirt youâre wearing, your boobs overflowing from the cups of your bra. Palming them with his large rough hands, rolling the hardened nipples between his fingers. His tongue swirling around the swollen buds with almost animalistic need.Â
He imagines his hard cock buried between them, throbbing tip pushing out from them with every thrust, hot cum spurting across your chest and chin when he couldnât hold it any longer.Â
He thought about the way theyâd bounce as he fucked into you or you rode him. How theyâd jolt with every thump of your chest, heart beating fast as you try to catch your breath. Panting like youâd ran a marathon but really Buck had just been fucking you with little to no remorse.Â
âBuck? Earth to Evan.â The sound of your voice calling his name snapped Buck out of his thoughts. He wondered how long both you and Eddie had been trying to regain his focus. He looked around at you both with wide confused eyes, a look on his face that could only be described as one of a guilty child, caught red handed.Â
He swallows down his embarrassment, âHuh?â, is all he manages to say at first. You and Eddie stare back at him, a small idea of where his mind had run to. Taking in his dilated pupils and beetroot red cheeks, flush rising up his neck.Â
âWe were asking you if youâre okay. You seem spaced out.â, you say back. Buck normally wasnât anywhere near this quiet, unless he was upset or brooding. Always actively participating in conversation, half the time you couldnât get him to shut up.Â
âHuh, yeah- uh, Iâm fine.â, He stumbles on his words, hastily getting up from his seat. âIâm just- bathroom.â, he mumbles rushing off and down the stairs. Disappearing just as soon as the muddled sentence was leaving his lips.Â
You turn back to Eddie making a face, âWhatâs up with him?â Â
He shakes his head, smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, âNo clue.â Your eyes narrow, he definitely knew something but you decided not to push it, already have a pretty good idea yourself. Maybe youâd confront him later, especially if he kept acting strange. The thought of following after him briefly crosses your mind but the bell going off shuts that down.Â
If Buck had gone down to do what youâd thought then you already knew he wasnât going to be happy. Going down the stairs with the rest of the team following suit you can tell youâre right. Buckâs coming out of the locker room looking frustrated. He runs a hand through his short curls, irritation exuding from him. The light illuminates small droplets of sweat across his forehead, uniform only slightly messed up.Â
You canât help the smirk that forms on your face. Youâd definitely be catching up with him lately, at the very least to tease him.

Hihi I am also here with a Christmas hc/suggestion đ: you and Aaron keep the kidsâ presents at grandpa Daveâs bc you know otherwise theyâd go on a hunt around the house to try to find them. So every Christmas Eve, Dave comes to hang out and before he leaves heâs like âAaron do you want to walk me out đđđâ and then Aaron has to sneak the presents back in the house while you distract Jack and Ellie
STOP omg yes!!!!!!!
you're the one who figures out they've been snooping - you noticed things in multiple closets have been knocked over, items are in the front while they're usually in the back, and mention it to aaron. you come to him and you're like, "i think they've been looking for the presents đł" all flabbergasted LOL. it's funny all the same, it's a rite of passage as a kid, but you don't want any surprises being ruined, or for the realization that santa isn't real to strike - jack still has a few years left in him, and ellie's still practically a baby đ
hehe aaron finally finds them in the act - you're doing some last minute shopping for his gift đ€, while he's watching them at home. the two of them have been watching a movie, he's just getting miscellaneous work things done, and when he goes in to check on them, they're not on the couch where he left them, movie's still playing on the screen. and sure enough, he finds the two of them looking under your shared bed.
hehe aaron's standing there with his arms crossed, face all :| and is like, "what are the two of you doing??"
ellie's still toddler age, and loves nothing more than listening to her big brother and following him around đ„č so jack will put the blame on her đ (not in a mean way, a brother way) he innocently looks up at his father and says, "ellie wanted to đ„ș" and aaron's all "đ€š yeah alright, this is ellie's idea" LOL
luckily they didn't find anything, but the two of you still bring the presents to dave's, and drop off any before coming home after being out and about.
hehe so when it's christmas eve, aaron gives you that look like, dave's coming soon and they can't see what he's bringing. SO you grab the two of them all excitedly and ask who wants to make some cookies for santa!!!!! which is the best distraction because the kitchen has some distance between the front door, so aaron and dave can easily sneak in and out, head up the stairs with the presents, all while jack and ellie are thoroughly entertained and distracted. and if they somehow notice dave, and they do - he obviously can't stop by anf not hang out with them - you can easily say he came over to help with the cookies đ„°đ„°đ«ą

Through Me (The Flood) - secret baby fic Simon Riley / female reader
âAnd you have all your meds.â
âYes, Simon.â
âAnd Cami knows sheâs on standby?â
âYes. Simon, weâre fine.â You pat his bicep but he doesnât release the hold he has on your shoulders. He canât bring himself to.
âMaybe I should have started leave earlier.â Uncertainity plagues him, kept him teetering from one side of a fence to another all week. He doesnât want to go, never wants to, but now, itâs different. Itâs worse.
âNo. Iâm seven months. Thereâs still two left to go and Iâm in perfect health. Nothing is going to happen, okay?â Youâre trying so hard to reassure him, but it doesnât help. You reach up and cup his face, thumb smoothing over his freshly shaved cheek. âHey.â
ââm fine.â
âYouâre not.â He huffs, leans and presses his forehead against yours. âIâm going to be fine, Si. Youâll be back before you know it and Iâll still be miserable and pregnant.â You sigh, and pull away to burrow yourself in his chest, his stomach. He wishes he could keep you there. âNow make your promise.â
âI promise to be home soon.â He kisses your forehead. He says it every time, and it hasnât failed him yet. Your face, your voice, the curves of your body in his hands carry him home every time. âI love you mama.â
âI love you too.â
âYeâre on somethinâ else LT.â Johnny claps his palm over the wound above his eyebrow, trying to stem the bleeding. Simon grunts.
âNeed to make quick work of this.â Price shoots him a look, but Simon ignores him. âGot a pregnant wife at home.â They donât need the reminder.
âAh know, ah know.â He has been on something else, this entire op. Has been speed running through objectives, speed running through bodies.
âBesides. Holidays cominâ up. Donât want to be out here when Cami is turning the house into Christmas village.â Gaz winces.
âWeâre taking a break tonight to regroup.â Price gives them all a pointed look, and Simon nods.
âCourse.â
He canât sleep.
Every time he closes his eyes he sees you face down in a pool of blood, Orion nowhere to be found, or worse. Dead in his bed. The visions meld with memories, cold sweat breaking out down his back.
He checks his phone. Nothing.
Why havenât you called?Â
You always call to check in. If his phone is off, you leave a voicemail. If itâs on, he answers. Itâs a balm to his anxiety, his worry thatâs always lurking in the back of his mind.
Heâs not supposed to make outgoing calls this round, and he knows that, logically understands it, but he canât stop clicking the phone icon next to your contact.
It doesnât ring. Straight to voicemail.
He clears his throat. âHey honey, wanted to check in. Havenât heard from you today. I hope youâre resting and little man isnât givinâ you too much of a rough time. Call me, I love you.â
It does nothing to gentle the fear thatâs roaring in his ears now. He wonât sleep. Not tonight.
So he lumbers down the stairs to the kitchen for a tea, stopping short when he hears Laswellâs voice crackling through the speaker, her usually calm cadence turned rushed.
The floorboards creak beneath his feet, and John turns, face grim and full of dread. âHold on.â John murmurs, and Kate grinds to a stop.
âWhatâs goinâ on?â An unnatural apprehension settles in his gut. A sixth sense.

"hey, babe, have you seen my shirt? you know, the grey one with the loose neck? i thought i- oh."
"huh? what was that?", you asked as you took out an earbud, turning to look at the boy who'd been trying to call your attention.
chuckling, he rounded the kitchen island to reach your side, hands practically attaching to your waist like magnets as he aided you in removing the other earbud, placing both on the counter next to you.
"i was just wondering where my band tee went, but i think i have my answer," he chuckled, pressing a sweet peck to your temple.
"oh, fuck. sorry, josh. do you want it? i can go change," you went to disconnect from him, but he wasnt having it, instead nuzzling his head on your shoulder.
"hm. it smells of my cologne still," he said almost to himself, "you don't have to take it off. i like you in my clothes," he reassured.
you could only scoff.
"your clothes are baggy on me. just like all my other clothes. what difference does it really make?"
joshua shrugged, "just like knowing you're wearing something of mine. you're style's cute. you're cute."
"flattery will get you everywhere, hong," you laughed.
it was one of those nice, domestic moments that occurred every so often. you basked in it, enjoying it before the two of you went back to your regular days.
it wasn't until later that you started to think about what you'd said to joshua earlier.
you did have a tendency to wear baggier clothes. hell, there really was no difference between wearing something of his and a piece of your own. it was incredibly rare for you to show skin or any sort of silhouette, and those instances were really reserved for nights too warm to handle in which you had to opt for some shorts and a tank top.
but even then, you went for looser ensembles. clothes that showed your figure were never really your forte.
you couldn't help but wonder if this ever bothered josh. would he have preferred if your style varied more? what if he thought of you as a prude? maybe he-
"what's got you thinking so loud?", the boy in question interrupted your inner turmoil.
you hadn't realized as you sat in front of your vanity, face wash in hand and still unused, that you'd frozen in place as you thought. his presence in the restroom hadn't registered until he spoke.
"just, uh," you pondered as to whether or not to voice your concerns, but his compassionate smile reflecting on the mirror made you decide, "i was thinking that maybe you'd like it better if i dressed differently? you know, maybe show more skin?"
you voiced it as a question, insecurities building in you as you sought a direct expression of his preferences.
"are you kidding? i like how you dress. and it's not really something that bothers me. you're comfortable and you're beautiful. it's a win-win situation for me," he kind of chuckled as he spoke, finding your question very sudden and unnecessary.
"oh."
you felt a bit dumb now.
"has this been worrying you? you know i'm like obsessed with you, right? you could wear a trash bag and i'd still be as obsessed," he joked, closing in on you similarly to how he'd done earlier in the day.
he finished his statement with a kiss pressed to your lips, humming when you kissed back.
"this just gives me free reign of your closet. i hope you know that," you jested.
"baby, i'm rich. take whatever you want."

apologies áá
đ . âź satoru gojo x fem reader .á Öč â ê±
đđ àŁȘË : angst to fluff | arguments | cursed words |
àšà§ : your boyfriend didn't replied to your texts and calls after leaving for a long mission.
Smau + written part below ê°áą. .áąê±âËâč
Satoru sighs in frustration. He hadn't replied to your texts and calls because he was way too busy with work and.. forgot about you. So when he saw your texts he knew he fucked up. He continued his day, trying act everything was normal. Teaching his students then going on other missions blag blah. As always he came home late. Instead of using keys he teleported to your sharing apartment. There he saw you talking with someone on the phone, maybe shoko? Utahime. (Yes)
"i don't think he'll come home tonight" you sighed while talking on the phone, you were wearing on of his shirt, eyes puffy wnd tears stained cheeks, you didn't noticed satoru
"if you're not his top priority just leave him already"
"you don't understand, utahime. He didn't meant it like that but.."
"but what?"
"the way he told me i am not his top priority and if i don't understand i should just leave him,i don't know what to say but i got hurted so bad.."
With that you walked off to bedroom. You didn't noticed him standing Infront of your main door. The dinner left cold on the table. He felt guilty but didn't said anything. He got day off for few days. He sighed. He knew you wouldn't talk to him until all the anger you have disappeares.
-
He puts your portion of the food in the fridge after finishing his dinner. And then lays down on the couch , too scared to enter your room for now since he heard you sobbing there..he felt way more guilty than before but..he wasn't confident enough to approach you now. He sighed, thinking of ways you could forgive him. all the thinking took the best of him and then finally he fell asleep
You woke up a little later than usual, when you came out of your room and you saw satoru sleeping on the couch. You frowned seeing him like that. All you could do was covering him up with a blanket in the cold room. You called yaga asking if satoru got a day off or not,so when you heard he got few days for himself you sighed in relief. Leaving a simple breakfast with a too sweet coffee for satoru before you left for your work. Teaching the students as always, sparring and doing the usual things . But you were still sad about how satoru behaved with you yesterday. You weren't able to see him and now you ended up making things even messier. You don't know how you will greet him when you get home. After the long day when you finally arrived your shared apartment, you hear some noices coming from kitchen, when you go to check whats going on there you see satoru cooking something, hes face slightly covered in flour. A cake in the oven. Him trying to make steak for you on the other side. His six eyes immediately noticed you, looking at you with a nervous smile.
"sweets..your too early.." he mumbles, trying to find any kind of anger on your face. You sigh, trying not smile at him
"what are you doing.." you said as you make your way to satoru standing beside him with a soft frown on your face
Satoru sighed, finally giving you his full attention.
"i just wanted to apologise..for yesterday by...making you a dinner.." he pouted slightly, looking down. Looking like a puppy caught stealing food. He thought you'd say something like 'fuck off' but instead he hears a soft giggle, when he looks up fully he sees a soft smile on your face. You hand covering your mouth "your lucky iam not mad" when heard you say that it felt like a heavy weight got off of his back. He attacked you with a bone crushing hug with kisses and multiple 'sorry's about yesterday. You couldn't stop smiling, cheeks hurting from smiling actually, just like satoru. You helped him with making dinner. You don't know when was the last time you had a proper dinner with him. It doesn't matters now. All that matters right now is satoru.

Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.
âHoney, please. Youâre making me nervous.â
You foot stills where it was banging against the cabinet, the words halting your movements. Youâre perched up on your kitchen counter, watching as Bucky makes you breakfast, both of you illuminated by the morning light. Heâs shirtless and wearing short shorts that show off the tanned, corded muscle of his thighs, skin all sun kissed and begging to be bitten.
Thereâs an energy coursing through your veins, prickly and warm. You woke up feeling like this - uneasy and on edge - like a grey cloud was looming in the distance, getting closer with every passing minute.
âAre you okay?â he asks as he moves to stand between your legs, warm hands splaying across your thighs.
âIâm fine,â you answer a little too quickly, avoiding his gaze. âSânothing.â
Bucky takes your chin between his fingers, forcing you to look at him.
âTell me whatâs on your mind,â he murmurs. âI can feel your anxiety in my chest. If itâs bad for me, itâs gotta be awful for you.â
âI donât know what it is,â you whisper, playing with his fingers. âJust woke up with this⊠feeling.â
He leans forward to press a lingering kiss to your forehead, lips warm on your skin.
âGet dressed.â
âWhat?â
âGet dressed, baby. Weâre going out.â
âBut what about breakfast?â
âWeâre bringing breakfast with us.â
You stare at him for a moment, before nodding and hopping down from the counter. Padding across the kitchen tiles, you make your way into your room, your nerves too fried to worry about what your soulmate has planned.
â” â”  ·ă â” ăă * · â”
The world passes by in a blur as Bucky speeds down the road, the steady roar of his truck soothing the buzzing in your bones. You arrive at your destination before you know it, coming to a stop next to a familiar path.
âOur house,â you breathe, looking out over the coastal plot.
âOur soon to be house,â he smiles, slinging an arm around your shoulders to pull you into him. âThought we could have a breakfast picnic.â
âThat sounds⊠perfect.â
You rest your head on his chest, listening to the melodic rhythm of his heartbeat to settle your nerves.
âCome on, honey baby. Letâs put down a blanket and eat while the everything is still warm.â
You get settled on the old, worn throw that Bucky keeps in his trunk, looking out at the ocean view that youâll be blessed with for the rest of your lives.
âI may be the baker here, but youâre a damn good cook, sir.â
You practically moan as you bite into the sandwich, rolling your eyes when your soulmate canât help but laugh at you.
âYou blow up my ego too much.â
âWell, someone has to, I suppose.â
He shoves you in the shoulder lightly, chortling at your dramatics when you throw yourself backwards.
âIf youâre done with the theatrics, thereâs something I want to show you.â
âFine, fine,â you relent, sitting up and finishing your breakfast. âShow me, Buck.â
He reaches into the picnic basket, pulling out rolls of paper and unfurling them in front of you.
âOfficial house blueprints. Got them all printed properly so we can mark them up and make adjustments.â
You run your fingers over the designs, trying to picture it all in your head. You trace journeys through the house - living room to kitchen, bedroom to bathroom, front door to backyard. Bucky watches you, gentle smile etched almost permanently onto his face. He wishes, for a moment, that he could speed up time - that the house was built and finished, so he can swim in the pool with you on Sunday mornings, stay up late watching movies on Friday nights, listen for your car pulling into the driveway after a long day at work in the week.
âIâve been thinking about the little things, you know. That Iâd want in the house.â
âYeah?â
âYeah.â
You smile, all hopeful and content, and every worry Bucky has ever had vanishes into thin air.
âTell me.â
âI think weâre - Iâm - gonna need a pantry. If I try new recipes at home, I have to buy copious amounts of flour and sugar and all that jazz. I think a pantry would make everything a little bit easier.â
Bucky pores over the blueprints, pointing at a certain area of the spacious kitchen.
âWe could add one here? Build the walls into this cove section, close it off.â
âPerfect,â you grin, leaning over to kiss him sweetly.
He rests his forehead against yours for a moment, allowing the warmth of your skin to seep into his.
âAlso,â you murmur against his lips, âI was thinking that we should make sure the shower is plenty big enough for two people. Hmm?â
Your soulmate groans, closing the gap between you to press a kiss to your smirk.
âI agree,â he hums. âI couldnât agree more, actually. Might put a bench in there for good measure too. You know, just in case.â
You canât help but chuckle, pecking him again before sitting back to get a better look at the designs.
âAs long as Iâve got lots of kitchen storage and countertop space, Iâm happy. Everything else is a bonus. I could live anywhere with you and be happy, actually.â
Buckyâs looking at you like you are the sun, bright and blinding and brilliant. A couple of years ago, if anyone looked at you like this, youâd have shied away, shrunk into the shell of yourself to avoid the gaze. Now, you revel in it, soaking up the warmth that being the centre of someoneâs universe brings.
âI love you so much, my honey. And I canât wait to build you a house.â
âI love you so much. And I canât believe youâre going to build me a house. I mean, how many girls can say that?â
You shift over to slot yourself into Buckyâs side, the heavy weight of his arm around you anchoring you to the present. Resting your head on his shoulder, you try to exhale all of your anxiety, focusing on the coastal view instead.
Your eyes are drifting closed when youâre startled back to reality by your phone ringing. You grab it and show it to Bucky, who smiles at the sweet picture of Lacie that lights up the screen.
âHey, Lace.â
âHi babe! Has your Mom texted you?â
âNot this morning, no. Why?â
âI just bumped into her in the grocery store, and she invited me over for dinner tonight. She said weâre well overdue a catch up, just like old times. I figured sheâd call or text you when she got home.â
âUgh, that sounds amazing. Iâll call her in a minute and double check the details, but⊠I canât wait.â
âYes, call her! Iâll bring both red and white wine, just to be sure. Iâm so excited you wouldnât even believe. Itâs been too long since Iâve spent the evening with my second family.â
âAnd Iâll make you that cake you like for dessert, the raspberry and peach one.â
âEeee! Youâre the best. See you tonight, babe!â
âSee you tonight, Lace. Love you.â
âLove you too. Later!â
Youâre grinning when you press the red button to hang up, content with the sudden addition of evening plans. Bucky presses a kiss into your hair, happy to see you the most relaxed youâve been all morning.
âYou wanna join us, Buck?â
He tightens his arms around you, pulling you in so youâre sat in between his legs, back to his chest.
ïżœïżœïżœNo, itâs okay. Itâll do you good to have a night with your family, honey. Besides, I have like two weeks worth of laundry to catch up on.â
âStop it. Iâll be having fun with my best friend and youâll be⊠doing laundry?â
âMight clean my oven, too.â
âStop,â you laugh, leaning back into him. âYouâre making me feel guilty.â
âWell,â he hums against your ear, âseeing as theyâre stealing you away from me tonight⊠how about we go sailing today? Promise Iâll get you back in time to get ready for dinner.â
âIâd love that,â you breathe, twisting around to plant a kiss on his stubbled jaw. âWe havenât been out on the boat in forever.â
âThen letâs go, honey girl. The ocean awaits us.â
â” â”  ·ă â” ăă * · â”
Being on the sailboat with Bucky takes you right back to the day after your Tethering.
Salty breeze whipping through your clothes, sun beating down on your skin, wooden boards creaking beneath your feet. Your soulmate stands on the deck in his pale blue linen button up, adjusting the sails with experienced precision. Heâs the image of grace, like a statue made of marble carved by an ancient sculptor.
âYou thinking about that day?â
You didnât even notice heâd moved, too fixated on his backlit silhouette and how beautifully broad his shoulders look.
âYeah,â you grin, propping yourself up on your elbows where you lay. âThat was a good day.â
âYeah, it was.â
He sits down on the deck in front of you, rubbing circles into your calf with his thumb.
âA lot has changed since then, huh?â
âYes and no. Weâre still just as clueless about the soulmate stuff as we were back then,â you chuckle. âBut weâre happier now. Less afraid.â
âAnd we still havenât talked to your parents about it.â
âBut we will. Very soon. Oops.â
Bucky shakes his head, smiling as he does it. You move to sit in the space between his spread legs, allowing his arms to wrap around you and cage you into him. The two of you stay like that for a while, embracing the calmness that time has brought you.
You close your eyes, slowly letting yourself relax as the gentle waves and the anchoring of your soulmate ease your nerves. Bucky hums lowly into your hair, a tune that you canât quite place your finger on.
âHave I heard that before?â you ask in a murmur.
âMaybe. Itâs an old song, my mom used to sing it to us as a lullaby.â
âThatâs sweet.â
The mental image of a tiny little Bucky all wrapped up in his blankets while his mother sings to him is almost too much for your heart to handle. You rest your head on his chest, listening to the melody.
âYou never talk about her.â
âHmm?â
âYour mom. You never mention her.â
âI donât really have much to say.â
You contemplate it for a moment, before deciding to just bite the bullet.
âYou know my mom mentioned something about your sister the other day, and I had to sit there and nod and pretend that I already knew it. When in reality, I didnât even know you had a sister, Buck.â
You can feel him tense up behind you, muscles going stiff where theyâre wrapped around your arms.
âIt just never came up.â
âNever? In almost two years of us being soulmates, it never came up?â
Buckyâs silent - perhaps the most silent youâve ever heard him. The sound of the ocean waves is suddenly amplified, filling the empty space.
âI donât know what you want me to say, honey.â
âAnything. Literally anything. I just⊠why do I feel like I donât know anything, all of a sudden? Your family, your upbringing, nothing.â
âBecause itâs not relevant. Iâm not just gonna bring it up out of the blue for no reason.â
âIâd say our pasts are pretty relevant, Buck. They make us who we are. Iâm not gonna sit here and push you to talk about something you donât want to talk about, because thatâs not fair. But I also donât think itâs fair that you know everything about me, and I feel like I donât really know that much about you.â
Youâve turned in his arms, sliding back so you can face him from a distance. Youâre expecting him to look angry, or sad, but instead he looks⊠guilty. Caught out, even.
âYou know more about me than anyone else in this world does,â he says eventually.
âMaybe. But I couldnât tell you your mom or sisterâs names, where you grew up, any of it. It makes me feel like thereâs a piece of you, however big, that you just donât want me to know.â
âI⊠donât know what to say.â
âOkay. Well, neither do I, anymore.â
The two of you sit for a minute, waiting to see if the other one has anything else to add.
âWeâve done this in the wrong order, I think.â Youâre whispering, but he hears you loud and clear. âWe think we know each other just because weâre soulmates, but we donât.â
He goes to interject, so you continue quickly.
âWeâve avoided tough conversations because we thought itâd make things easier, but now theyâve come back to bite us. Buck⊠do you know how much we havenât talked about?â
He bites at his bottom lip, gaze never leaving yours.
âWeâve not spoken about marriage, or kids, or any of that stuff. I mean, do you even want kids? Do you know if I do? Would you want to get married? God, did we think that by not having these conversations that theyâd just⊠go away?â
âI- I didnât want to scare you off with the hard topics too soon. You were overwhelmed at even having a soulmate, never mind marrying or having kids with one.â
âYeah, but Buck⊠weâre past that now. We should be able to talk about everything, and weâve just pulled the wool over our eyes in blissful ignorance.â
Bucky takes a deep breath, running his fingers through his windswept hair.
âI donât have the time that you do.â
âHmm?â
âKids. On my next birthday, Iâll be forty. I donât have the time to wait around, wondering and debating if I want kids or not. You can wait another ten years if you want to - but I canât.â
The reality of that statement hits you like a freight train, knocking the air out of your lungs.
âI canât be an old dad. A little older, sure. But no one needs their dad to be fifty when theyâre a baby. Seventy when theyâre twenty one. Dying when theyâre not even forty yet.â
A tear slips down your cheek, landing on your thigh with a tiny splash.
âIâm not ready for kids,â you confess quietly. âAnd I donât know when I will be.â
Bucky nods in understanding, careful eyes taking you in.
âI know.â
âIâm sorry.â
âDonât be sorry, honey. Thereâs nothing to be sorry for.â
In this moment, nothing anyone says will make anything any better. You can feel each others sadness in your chests, blue and heavy and constricting.
Bucky sails you back to shore without another word, both of you quietly contemplating. He drops you off outside your apartment building, the roar of his trucks engine the only sound that can be heard. You gently rub your thumb over his cheekbone where heâs caught the sun, before picking up your bag and unlocking your front door without looking over your shoulder.
You canât bear to meet his eyes. You donât dare to.
â” â”  ·ă â” ăă * · â”
You spend the rest of the afternoon baking.
It takes your mind off of everything, at least temporarily. You throw yourself into the recipe youâve made at least ten times, all for Lacie. This is her favourite thing you create, and youâre absolutely determined to make it perfect for her.
You place the final raspberry on the top of the cake, and burst into tears.
It feels like everything youâve built - that you believed was solid - actually has cracks running throughout. You want to convince yourself that youâre not mad at Bucky, but you think that maybe you are. Heâs made the conscious choice to never share parts of his life before you with you. Even knowing that he didnât do it with any malicious intent doesnât seem to make it any easier.
Taking a deep breath, you pop the cake in the refrigerator to keep it from melting, before making your way to your bathroom. The water you splash on your face makes you feel a little more alive, the coolness of it shocking you back to reality.
You inhale, watching your reflection in the mirror as you exhale shakily. A noise from your phone rings out from where it sits atop the vanity, a text from Lacie lighting up the screen.
-
From: Lace <3
Canât wait to see you tonight babe!! Are you wearing a skirt, or are jeans the vibe?? Shorts maybe?? Send me a pic of your outfit <33
-
You smile as you type your reply, picturing her face in your head as she reads it.
-
To: Lace <3
No outfit picked yet - will let you know what I decide. Definitely not wearing jeans, skirt is a maybe. Made your cake though <3
-
You press send and hop in the shower, hoping that the hot spray of the water will wash away some of the tension in your muscles. Trying to turn your brain off, you decide to focus all your attention on getting dressed and ready, putting on some music and pouring yourself a glass of something fruity.
Tonight will be a good night. Youâll make sure of it.
â” â”  ·ă â” ăă * · â”
You wait for Lacie out on the street, just like old times. If she was ever coming over when you were kids, youâd stand at the end of your driveway, too excited to stay on the front porch.
She tries to run towards you, but her wedge heels donât let her get too far. She hobbles over instead, half hopping, half jumping to get to you faster.
âI am so excited!â she practically yells into your ear as she hugs you tightly. âFeels like I havenât seen you in forever.â
âLace,â you laugh, âI saw you last week.â
âToo long!â she declares, grabbing your hand and leading you towards your front door. âLetâs have the best night ever, yeah?â
âYeah. Letâs.â
Your parents are overjoyed to see Lacie again.
âYou got taller, kid?â your Dad asks as he ruffles her hair, much to her dismay.
Your Momâs laughing, shaking her head as she pulls her in for a quick cuddle.
âYou look beautiful, sweetie. Have you changed your hair? Is it lighter?â
âYou like it? Did it a couple of months ago. Wanted a change.â
âI love it. I need to make an appointment with you soon, Iâm well overdue a cut.â
âIâll make space for you anytime, Lori. Just text me and Iâll fit you in.â
âWine, anyone?â your Dad yells from the kitchen doorway. âLacie, I know youâll have some!â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â she teases, giggling. âBut yes, I will. The biggest glass you have, actually.â
You grin as you sit down to your place at the dinner table, Lacie taking the chair next to you. Sheâs already launched into a story about a nightmare client at work, making all of you double over with laughter.
The stress leaves your body the more you smile, all four of you wrapped up in this perfect bubble of nostalgia and friendship and memories and love.
Just like old times.
â” â”  ·ă â” ăă * · â”
âWeâre going for a walk. You girls want to come?â
Your parents are stood hand in hand in the doorway, looking at you expectantly.
âNo thanks, you two go ahead. Think weâre gonna have a drink on the porch.â
âOkay, sweethearts. See you later.â
Theyâre giggling at something when they leave, the melodic sound of it hanging in the air behind them.
âYou wanna raid the bar cart?â Lacie asks, looking at you with mischief in her eyes.
âYes, I do,â you laugh, standing up and pulling her with you.
The two of you find a bottle of coconut rum, half empty but still in date. Your best friend holds it in her hand as if youâve discovered buried treasure, face lit up with excitement.
âLetâs sit out the back, maybe see some stars.â
You get cosy on the porch, both of you curled up under a blanket to keep the evening chill at bay. You pass the rum back and forth, content to just be in each others company again.
âRemember when we were like sixteen, and your Dad caught us trying a cigarette out here?â
You smile at the memory, casting your mind back to that day you sat in this very spot.
âAnd instead of yelling at us, he told us that we were lighting it wrong?â
âAnd then he called us losers while he walked off laughing.â
You both shake with laughter, recalling the look on his face.
âI thought we were so grounded, but then I just felt kinda lame.â
âThatâs my Dad for you. Heâs always had his own method of parenting. And honestly? Itâs worked pretty good so far.â
Lacie looks at you with a measured gaze before taking your hand in hers.
âHave you guys talked to your parents yet? About everything?â
âNo,â you reply a little too quickly, bottom lip wobbling. âNot yet.â
âHey, hey.â
She scoots over so sheâs practically sitting in your lap, legs tangled with yours under the throw as she slings an arm around your shoulders to pull you close.
âBabe, whatâs wrong? Why are you crying?â
You didnât realise you were until she said it, now feeling the warm tears drip down your face. Thereâs a lump in your throat that you canât seem to get rid of, and you wonder momentarily if itâs your sadness or Buckyâs.
âMe and Bucky had a bad day.â
âWhat happened?â
Her fingers are rubbing gentle patterns into the skin of your shoulder, her soft eyes watching you encouragingly. Sheâs always been the most patient person with you - as if she knows youâll tell her everything eventually, even if it takes you a while.
âI just had this - this, this sudden realisation? That I donât feel like I actually know that much about him, or his past, or his family. And when I said this to him, everything got weird and tense and he was all closed off.â
âDid you ask why? Why he hasnât shared this stuff with you?â
âYeah,â you sniffle, wiping your face with the back of your hand. âHe told me he just didnât have much to say.â
âWell thatâs not really an answer.â
âExactly. Am I being crazy? Youâd tell me if I was being crazy, right?â
âOf course Iâd tell you, you know I would. And youâre not being crazy. Heâs so involved with your family, so why shouldnât you at least know a little about his?â
âThis is what I mean,â you breathe, relieved that someone finally understands. âHeâs purposefully never mentioned his parents, or his upbringing. You know I only found out he has a sister last week?â
âWoah. Thatâs⊠thatâs kind of a big deal.â
âI just donât know if he could see it from my point of view when we talked about it today. And I didnât want to push and push just in case I pushed too far, because that isnât fair and he wouldnât do that to me. But at the same time⊠sometimes he closes himself off, whether he realises it or not.â
She squeezes you tightly, reassuring you with a simple gesture.
âI love you. You know that babe, donât you? Even if we donât see each other as much as we used to. I love you more than anything.â
Sheâs only making you cry harder, a mixture of happy and sad tears.
âI know, Lace. I love you so much.â
She rests her head atop yours, hands and hearts intertwined on the back porch.
âI justâŠâ you take a deep breath, trying to regain some composure. âIâm sad. And Iâm angry. Iâm angry that this is the hand Iâve been dealt. Not Bucky - never Bucky - God heâs the best soulmate I ever could have asked for. But Iâm mad that weâve had it so hard. Soulmates are supposed to be easy and simple and written in the stars and all Iâve felt is stress because our Tethering is so complicated.
I feel so uncertain of the future and who I am and who I want to be. And I never used to feel that way, but Bucky has changed everything. I love him so much, and that has altered my entire life and my entire future and the way I look at and think about the world.
I guess Iâm just sad, at the end of it all. Because this should have been a magical honeymoon period for us, and instead it was filled with so much worry and hiding and confusion. And how is that fair? Why do some people have it easy, and others donât?â
Lacie takes your face in her hands, forcing you to look into her big green eyes.
âListen to me, babe. Nothing worth having ever comes easy.â
Youâre expecting her to continue, but she doesnât. She just watches you process, thumbs wiping away the tears on your cheeks.
âNothing. Worth. Having. Ever. Comes. Easy.â
Youâre nodding, letting her words sink in.
âYouâve been dealt a tough hand. Youâre right. But when has that ever gotten you down before? Youâve always picked yourself up, dusted yourself off, and kept going. Itâs one of the things I love the most about you.â
A ghost of a smile threatens to take over your face, and she laughs.
âItâs true. And itâs not going to solve itself overnight. Itâs going to require a lot of talking, a lot of listening, and a lot of patience. But the two of you will do it. Because youâre soulmates, and youâre meant to be. Literally.
Have some time apart, put a little space between you. And then come back together and work through this. Itâll do you both some good to take a step back and look at everything from a different perspective in a few days. Yeah?â
âYeah,â you breathe, tucking her hair behind her ear so it stops blowing into her face. âYeah.â
âAnd you know where I am if you need to talk or rant or scream or cry or all of the above.â
âAlways,â you chuckle, resting your head on her shoulder. âLove you.â
âLove you.â
The two of you abandon the rum, instead choosing to make some tea to drink out on the porch. You watch the stars for hours, just like you did when you were kids.
âYou wanna have a sleepover tonight?â
âReally?â
âYeah. If Cameron doesnât mind.â
âHe wonât, donât worry. Iâd love to.â
Your Mom and Dad watch through the kitchen window, as the two girls who were once four years old running around the garden are now grown women, sitting out on the bench and holding hands like they used to.
Theyâd pause time, if they could. Just for a moment.
â” â”  ·ă â” ăă * · â”
You feel like giggly teenagers when you both snuggle up under your blankets in bed, the light of the moon casting shadows across your features.
Youâre all tucked up, facing each other and whispering in the dark. These would be your favourite nights when you were kids, especially during the summer. The promise of no school tomorrow, staying up and sharing secrets until the early hours of the morning, trying to keep your voices down so your parents didnât hear. You didnât realise how much youâd missed it until now.
Lacie moves a piece of hair away from your face, her manicured nails against your skin making you shiver. She reaches for your hand under the duvet, linking your fingers firmly.
âYou know, I was never worried about meeting my soulmate,â she murmurs into the dusk. âI was always excited, but never worried.â
âYou werenât? How come?â
âBecause Iâve had a soulmate since I was four years old. And she is the most important thing I have. Even if I never met my romantic soulmate, I would have been okay - because I know what true love is.â
A tear slips down your cheek and onto your pillow as you shuffle sideways, resting your head on her shoulder.
âIâm so lucky,â you sniffle. âAnd emotional. I think the rum has gone to our heads.â
Your best friend laughs a little too loud, both of you trying to muffle the sound with your hands.
âIâve always been a teary drunk,â she chuckles, squeezing your fingers. âBefore we both fall asleep because the wine has hit us, let me just say that Iâm proud of you. Going to California, having the courage to come back, opening yourself up to Bucky⊠all of it. You guys will be just fine.â
âYeah, we will. I couldnât have done any of it without you, though.â
âWe make a good team,â she grins.
âWe always have. Weâve had twenty years of being a good team.â
âHereâs to twenty more,â she whispers, pressing a kiss into your hair.
âAnd twenty more after that,â you whisper back, snuggling into her.
You fall asleep like that, still tangled and clutching each otherâs hands like youâre children again. You can almost feel the love in the room, all warm and soft and glowing.
No matter what happens⊠youâve known what true love was since you were four years old. And that is something that no Tethering can replicate.

Don't think you understand
Summary: Quinn can't get ahold of his feelings, which leads him to push you away unintentionally.
Track 8 of short n' sweet - dumb & poetic
Warning! Slight miscommunication
A/N: This does have a happy ending :) and it's short. I apologize for that!! I just wanted to post something for the short n sweet masterlist(been delaying it)
And I gave you guys a bridgerton love confession kinda so enjoy that lmao
You haven't talked to him in weeks. The man was your best friend and you haven't talked to him in two months, how did this even happen?
Hmm, maybe when you had confessed your feelings to Quinn around the same time, you left without an answer, analyzing the blank look on his face, bringing enough of one for you.
This was your fifth tub of ice cream in two weeks, while on a call with Luke(and Jack, who also joined the supposed gossip session).
"Wait, so let me get this straight." Jack said, collecting his thoughts. "You told him you were in love with him, and he didn't say anything or have any reaction which led to you two not talking anymore?"
"Well, it certainly helps hearing it out loud." You grumbled.
"Sorry! I just need to recap so I know why I have to slap him when I next see him." Jack mutters the last part.
"You know, for him being the oldest, he sure is stupid." Luke chuckles.
"Pretty sure I'm the stupid one here, I mean, I thought he actually liked me back." You smiled Sadly.
"You think he doesn't like you in that way?" Jack asked, you nodded.
"Yeah, no, Quinn's definitely in love with you, Y/N. Have you seen the way he looks at you? The way his eyes seem to shine brighter when he talks about you." Luke shrugged.
"Okay, now you guys are feeding into my delusions." You rolled your eyes. "I lost my best friend because I couldn't control my feelings about him. And now I'm sitting on my kitchen floor, crying to Conan Gray while eating Ben & Jerry's."
There was a sudden knock on your door. Who could that be? It was late in the night in Vancouver.
"I'll be right back guys, don't hang up." You warned.
You walked up to the door and looked through the peephole and saw the man of the house standing on the other side. You unlocked it. How could you not?
"Quinn? What are you doin-?" You were cut off with Quinn kissing you passionately. You melted in the kiss before slowly breaking apart.
"I'm in love with you too." Quinn confessed. "I think I've been in love with you the moment I saw you falling off the swing when we were kids, if I'm being honest. It's very easy to fall in love with someone as special, charming, kind, heartless, caring, and comforting as you. I can't imagine being with anyone else other than you. And I don't even want to think about how sorry I am for not realizing it until now. But I love you Y/N, and I don't think I can ever stop - No, I know that I can't and won't."
Now it your time to be in shock.
"I understand if I'm too late, I just wanted you to know. I'm sorry for kissing you. I just wanted to know what it felt if it was the only time -" You cut Quinn off by kissing him.
"I love you too." You whispered. "Gosh you're so dumb and poetic."
Quinn chuckles. "What does that even mean?" He followed you into the house.
"Y/N!!! Did you get kidnapped? Omg Luke what if we gotta call the cops and tell them what happened and we gotta tell them she was crying about our idiotic brother-"
"Jack shut up." Luke looked at his brother bewildered.
"I'm just saying, could be a possibility." Jack mutters.
"I'm not dead guys." You picked up the phone.
"Y/N! You're alive. What happened? Who was at the door?" Luke asked, Jack chuckling behind him.
"Oh you know just this really hot guy." You answered simply.
"Okay? How hot was he? Is he gonna make you get over Quinn?" Jack asked.
"Very hot and no." You answered.
Quinn came into frame behind you, kissing you on your neck.
Jack and Luke's jaw drops. "No way!" "What the hell?"
"There are children present in this conversation, you guys are disgusting." Jack gestured to Luke who shoved him in response. "I'm 21!"
"Bye guys." Quinn hung up the phone.
"That was rude, you know." You looked back at him.
"I know, I just wanted to kiss you without them bickering." Quinn mumbles.
"And to think I was just crying over you not too long ago." You recalled.
"I'll make up for every tear you shed for my stupidity, I promise." Quinn's nose brushes yours.
"I know you will." You leaned in closer.

<<đșđșđșđșđșđșđș
"Yes? Hello, officer? There's a man in my apartment."Â
Eddie stirs awake, his surroundings coming back to him in hazy waves.
"What?" he slurs out, blinking to clear his vision.
"Oh, I was just telling the officer that I've found a man sleeping on my couch," Stephanie says with a troubled expression, hovering over him.
Over the couch that he fell asleep on.
He sits up so suddenly he loses his balance and falls back against the cushion.
"I'm so sorry, please don't call the copsâ!"
Stephanie immediately shakes her hands, which are free of a phone.
"I was joking, I was joking!" she reassures him quickly. "I'm sorry." She smiles apologetically, taking a seat next to him. "I guess that wasn't the best way to wake up someone."Â
"No," Eddie chuckles awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Especially not an ex-drug dealer," he huffs dryly.Â
Steph cocks her head with a surprised "huh" and only then does Eddie realize what he has just blurted out.Â
"Ah, shit. Am I ruining my good neighbor status?" he winces.
"Not at all," Steph shakes her head, and gently pats his knee. He zeroes his focus on her hand when she decides to rest it there on his jean-clad leg.Â
"I know my nice neighbor Eddie, not the drug dealer one," she smiles reassuringly. "What made you turn around? If you don't mind me asking," she squeezes his knee and retrieves her hand to lean back more comfortably on the couch. One of her cats, Garfield, jumps on her lap for a greeting, and Eddie realizes she's still wearing her jacket. He looks at the clock on the wall and realizes it's almost midnight.Â
"Sorry, I'm holding you back, you're clearly tired," she backtracks quickly, watching his eyes dart around. But Eddie shakes his head.
"Nah, I just took an invigorating nap." She laughs at that and he can't help but smile as well. "I'd assume you're tired after traveling."
"I took an invigorating nap on the bus," she smiles, petting her cat. Arwen finally decides she's not above greeting her human and jumps in next to her as well, occupying Stephanie's other hand.Â
Eddie reminds himself not to get jealous of felines.
"I managed to graduate," he says and when Steph looks at him in confusion, he adds: "I dealt in high school to save money for my band, thought that was my only route. But then I did graduate, on my third try, and the art teacher pulled some strings, asked around, and told me I could go study music. The guys forced me to go for it," he smiles at the memory. "My band, I mean. They said at least one of us should know some theory," he chuckles.Â
"That's very nice of them," Stephanie comments.Â
"Yeah. The bastards followed me after high school too." He grins.Â
"And I still haven't heard your music," she sighs wistfully.Â
"I'll bring a tape next time," he promises.Â
"You better."
They sit in silence for a while, only the cat's purring filling the night ambiance.Â
"Want some tea?"
"I guess I should go."
They speak over each other, eyes wide when they meet awkwardly. They chuckle, and Eddie can feel his cheeks warm up.
"Or I can get us a beer? Since you're not an old lady," she offers, spotting the empty bottle on the table. "Unless you really need to go."
"Beer sounds good. Considering there are no old ladies here," he smiles charmingly, daring her to protest.Â
Steph doesn't say anything, only rolls her eyes and gently nudges Garfield from her lap onto the couch cushions. She scratches Eddie's head when she passes, thankfully missing the way it causes his whole body to shiver.Â
"Won't your uncle be worried where you are?" she asks from the kitchen, giving Eddie the space he needs to collect himself.Â
"I told him I'd wait for you," he answers, scratching Garfield and trying to forget how good it felt when done to him. "Also, I don't have a curfew anymore. Never had, in fact. Not with Wayne."
"Lucky you." She steps back into the room, handing him a chilled bottle. "How long have you been living with him?"
"Since high school," he answers before taking a swig. "Spent a short time in a halfway house before that. My parents couldn't handle me anymore, but they managed to reach my uncle and he took me in."
"The hell do you mean 'couldn't handle you'?" Steph asks with a frown.
Eddie chuckles at her immediate offense.
"They got into legal trouble, and couldn't afford the house anymore, I think my dad spent some time in prison too. Tax fraud and shit, never cared enough to dig into it and Wayne doesn't like talking about them either. He's a better parent they'd ever be anyway."
"Yeah," Steph softens. "I'd love to have had someone like him back in the day." Then, she deflates with a sigh. "Though even the nicest people can turn out to be bigots. Not Wayne, of course!" she rushes to add. "He knows about Robin and he's really cool about it."Â
Eddie sees his opening and feels comfortable enough to use it finally.Â
"He better be, since his nephew is bisexual," he says with a little huff.Â
"He is?" Steph picks up curiously.Â
"Yeah," Eddie scratches his cheek, suddenly sheepish. "Turned out I wasn't watching Indiana Jones for the plot."
"I think that sweaty chest is plot enough," she says and they both laugh.
"Have you dated a guy, then?" Stephanie asks next.Â
"Only one for real," Eddie admits. "But it's not like I've dated many girls either, though it is easier."
"A young bachelor like you?" Stephanie raises her eyebrows in surprise. "You should be swarming with marriage proposals, the way your uncle describes you."
Eddie groans, throwing his head back against the cushions.Â
"What nonsense is he telling about me?"
"Only that he has a talented, smart boy in Indy, who's always helpful and protective of his friends and family. Also, he has really frizzy hair."
"Excuse me?"
Eddie picks up his head to look at Stephanie. She's suddenly closer than before, rubbing a lock of his hair between her fingers.Â
"When was the last time you had your hair done?"
"Uh." He looks between her hand and her face like he'll find the answer there. "Never? Probably? At least not that I remember."
Stephanie's mouth purses with displeasure.Â
"I can fix them for you. For taking care of my cats."
Eddie wants her hands in his hair so badly, but he raises his beer like a dumbass.Â
"But I already got a beer," he points out.Â
She shakes her head.Â
"I share beers with friends for less. I'd usually buzz Wayne too, and you'd be doing me a favor because I can't focus with your split ends right in my face."
She's really playing it up, pout and all, and unfortunately, it's working on him.Â
But he'd probably do anything she asked for.Â
"Then, uh... Sure, I guess."

âAw, how lovely it is to see you two!â
âHi, mum.â
Your mother held you warmly before turning to the person next to you.
âYouâve grown taller, Mattheo, dear.â
âAs always, Mrs. y/l/n.â
She held him too, and Mattheo did his best to return the hug. His dark eyes turned to you and you offered him a small, affectionate smile. He suddenly looked more comfortable and smiled at your mother when she let him go.Â
âLeave your luggage here, dears, it can be unpacked later. Come, Iâve made you two some snacks.â
You and Mattheo follow her into the kitchen, and you canât help but look at Mattheo. Partly because, well, itâs not like he wasnât the most handsome boy youâve ever seen, but mostly because you know heâs not always comfortable in your motherâs house, despite having living here for over two years now.Â
Mattheo and you had been best friends since your first year at Hogwarts. But as the years went by, knowing Mattheo was alone at Hogwarts during the holidays made you feel so upset that you started asking him if he wanted to spend it with you, which he accepted with a gratitude he had a hard time hiding. And, naturally, you also asked him if he wanted to come for summer break here as well. From the day Mattheo met your mother, she adored him and soon considered him a full member of the family, sending him sweets and gifts while at school just like she did for you, offering him gifts for his birthdays and Christmas as well, and he started coming every holiday without you asking him. You knew Mattheo was thankful for your motherâs hospitality and affection, as he always made sure to let her know, but you knew - despite him doing his best to hide it - that he felt that he somehow didnât deserve the kindness and care you mother had shown him. It broke your heart to know he felt like that, but Mattheo wasnât the kind to easily speak about his feelings so you never dared to bring it up, only sometimes telling him how happy you were that he was here, and that this house was his home.
But what your mother - or anyone else for that matter - didnât know was that now having Mattheo around at all times was bittersweet for you. You absolutely loved having him in your house, where you knew he was finally loved and cared for, but it also made you two closer and made feelings for him grow - feelings you didnât know were shared or not. It was slowly breaking you from the inside, and you didnât know how to deal with it. Of course, you could talk about it with Pansy, who was your other best friend, or your mother, but you perfectly knew what they would both tell you: âtell him how you feel.â Merlin, no. You just couldnât. Not only because if Mattheo didnât feel the same way, your friendship would never be the same at best - or completely destroyed in the worst case scenario - and in both cases, you knew it wouldnât take long for Mattheo to decide to leave your house. If I ever do tell him how I feel, itâs better to wait until weâre both out of Hogwarts and have our own places.Â
You walked in the kitchen to find your favourite snacks on the table.Â
âAw, thanks, mum.â
âYes, thank you, maâam.â
âYouâre more than welcome. Come, sit.â
The three of you sat around the table, you being next to Mattheo on one side and your mother on the other. You and Mattheo started eating while your mother asked about yours and Mattheoâs lives at school. You and Mattheo took turns in making conversation and even had a few laughs as you recalled some of the funny memories you had. After both your stomachs were full, you decided to go unpack your luggage. Mattheo had the same idea, and went to the bedroom that was now essentially his. You both finished at the same time, and found yourselves in the corridor of the second floor.Â
âIâll go take a shower,â Mattheo said quietly. âIf you donât mind.â
âOf course not.â
He walked to the bathroom, but before he came in, you called for him. âMatty?âÂ
He turned to you and you continued, âAs always, this is your home.âÂ
He gave you a single nod before quickly turning away and going into the bathroom. Letting out a small sigh, you went down downstairs in the living room and found your mother reading a book.Â
âMum?â
She raised her head from her book, âYes?â
You sat on the sofa next to her, a small smile on your face.
âYou know Mattheoâs birthday is coming up?â
âYes,â she nodded, âI already got his gifts and have everything I need to make his favourite cake. Why?â
âWell,â you said, âI thought that we could do something else for a change. We usually have quiet birthdays and itâs nice but Iâd really like to do something for Mattheo this time.â
Your mother frowned, âLike what?â
âA surprise party?â you answered. âI could write to the boys and invite them to celebrate?âÂ
âThatâs a good idea, darling. Iâll soon go to Diagon Alley to buy some decorations and, well, more food and drinks.â
You smiled and went to give her a quick hug. âThank you, mum. Youâre the best.â
The evening was nice and quiet, spent playing chess with Mattheo on the ground in the living room like you always did, with your mother playfully cheering on the one winning from the sofa. Mattheo and you laughed a lot while playing, and it warmed your heart to see him relaxed and happy. You knew he was usually shy in the first days he came here, and while you perfectly understood it, you couldnât wait for him to be his warm, chill, funny self again. The Mattheo you knew and loved. After dinner, your mother went to bed and soon after, Mattheo and you decided to follow. You both went upstairs, and you then went into the bathroom to take a shower and put on your pyjamas. Mattheo had his own bathroom, and he was likely getting himself ready to go to bed. Once you were done, you went to your bedroom, and you werenât surprised to see Mattheo casually laying on your bed. You went to close the shutters, and when you got in bed, Mattheoâs arms immediately wrapped around your body, and you put your head on his chest. Mattheo and you had taken the habit of cuddling to sleep since the first night he spent here, where a discussion before going to sleep ended up with you guys falling asleep and for some reason waking up in each otherâs arms. You found that you slept way better in Mattheoâs arms, so much so that this situation continued in Hogwarts - and it was made easier by your roommate Pansy essentially spending all her nights with Blaise. At first, you just enjoyed the feeling of warmth and safety Mattheoâs embrace gave you, but as your heart started to feel more than friendship for him, cuddling, just like his perpetual presence, became bitter-sweet. You still loved cuddling with Mattheo, in fact you didnât even know if you could even sleep without him now, but you wondered if it was a good idea to continue like this. But even if I decided it was better to stop, how do I tell him?Â
âYou alright?â you whispered, raising your head to look at him.
He nodded, âYeah. Why?âÂ
âI just want to make sure youâre comfortable here. This is your home, Matty. And it will always be. But if youâre feeling something different, I want you to tell me.âÂ
âIâm fine, y/n, really. Iâm grateful for your mum and you, you know that. Donât worry your pretty little head over me.â
He kissed your hair, his hands started gently caressing your shoulder and the middle of your back. Soon after, you felt yourself going to sleep, and thought you heard a voice saying âsleep well, princess.âÂ
â§âââ
âââ§âââ
âââ§
The next following days, Mattheo and you spent all of your time together. Every meal, every activity - playing Quidditch in the garden, reading, studying, taking a nap - was done with him. You loved it, but it made it harder to write to Mattheoâs friends to invite them to the surprise party or to prepare the said party without him knowing, but you still managed to do it while he was reading a book in the living room. Thankfully, all the boys answered your letter and said they would come, and thankfully also, your mother had time to buy what was needed and had the idea to hide it in her room, where you and her knew Mattheo would never dare to go.Â
On the day of his birthday, you woke up once again in his arms, and kissed him on the cheek as he was slowly waking up.
âHappy birthday, Matty.â
âThank you, pretty girl.â
You had managed to get Mattheo agree to go to Hogsmeade in the beginning of the afternoon to get his favourite sweets from Honeydukes so your mom could prepare everything for the party and welcome the guests. You spent some time here, and once you knew everything was likely to be ready, you and Mattheo got back home, and you had a hard time not smiling. But you also suddenly worried about how Mattheo would react. Last year, Theo had a surprise party and Mattheo was happy to help prepare it. But does that mean he wants one for himself?
You opened the door, and entered the silent house. Mattheo looked around the corridor, and put his bag full of sweets on the floor in order to take off his jacket.
âIs your mom here?â he asked.Â
âI donât know,â you shrugged. âLetâs check the living room.â
Mattheo remained silent and approached said living room, and you had the biggest smile on your face when he suddenly stopped.
âHappy birthday!â
There was some cheering and applause, and Mattheo turned to you as you approached him.
âWhat-â
âItâs a surprise, Matty,â you couldnât help but laugh at his confused face. âYou deserved to have your friends and your brother with you today.â
He stared at you for a long minute, and you felt your heart beat faster, and he finally smiled at you.
âThank you, y/n.â
You smiled back at him and gestured for him to go say hi to his friends, who were quick to wish him a happy birthday and greet him warmly, and his brother Tom, who was colder and more silent than the others. You looked around the room, and what your mother had done to decorate was incredible: there were numerous small fireworks up in the air alongside big golden letters saying âhappy birthday Mattheoâ, small decorations all around, and the long wooden table, usually bare, was also very much magically decorated. Mattheo hugged your mother to thank her while Pansy came closer to you.Â
âWell done, dear. If youâve put it together for a friend, I canât wait to see what you will do when youâll be dating him.â
âDonât start,â you warmed her. âMattheo and I have always been friends and will always be.âÂ
âWeâll see,â she teased.
You rolled your eyes and went closer to Mattheo. It was now time for him to blow out the candles and make a wish, and everyone was gathered around him as your mother brought his favourite cake decorated with whipped cream and full of magic candles.
âHappy birthday again, dear,â your mother smiled. âMake a wish.â
Mattheo closed his eyes for an instant and then blew out the candles. You applauded alongside the others, and everyone gave Mattheo their birthday gifts - books on Quidditch or history or wizards, Quidditch equipment, special quills, a watch - and then came your turn. Feeling your cheeks becoming red, you handed him your own gift, scared he might not like it. He unwrapped it and then saw the book.
âItâs, um, a photo album with some pictures we took along the years and, well, I wrote down some of my favourite memories with you.âÂ
You heard some whispers among Mattheoâs friends - his brother Tom remained silent - but your only focus was on Mattheoâs reaction. He turned some of the pages, smiled at some of the pictures and read the memories you wrote down - and the note you had also written him about how much he meant to you and how special you genuinely thought he was. After a moment of apparently being lost in thoughts, he gently put down the book on the table near the others books he got and looked at you to give you a half-smile.
âThank you, y/n.â
He gave you a quick, strange hug, and then turned to his plate. Feeling confused, you wondered if he truly liked the gift. You went to sit between your mother and Lorenzo, and as you ate the cake, you looked sometimes as Mattheo, who was now the center of attention, and as time went by, you saw him switching from his usual, funny self to a more quiet, uneasy self, barely listening to what Theo was saying to him. You guessed he was feeling overwhelmed, and as the others finished their plates and went to sit on the sofas, you saw Mattheo mumbling an excuse before leaving the room to go to the garden. You wanted to follow him to make sure everything was fine, but you knew he probably needed some time alone. After a while, you finally went outside, and found him sitting in the grass, lost in thoughts. You approached him slowly before sitting down next to him.
âAre you okay, Matty?âÂ
He nodded, âYes. Was it your idea to have this party?â
âYes,â you said quietly. âWhy?âÂ
âThank you, y/n. It means a lot,â he looked at the grass before shaking his head.Â
âYou deserve it,â you said with a gentle voice.Â
âActually, Iâm not sure,â Mattheo said in a low voice, his head now down.
You frowned, confused. âWhat? Why?â
Mattheo turned to you and had a small sigh.
âHonestly, y/n. You and your mum have already so much for me. Letting me live here, giving me gifts, being there for me, and now thisâŠWhat did I ever give you back? Nothing.â
You opened your mouth, but it took a few seconds to answer. âMattheo, have you not read what I wrote in the photo album?âÂ
He didnât answer, still looking at the grass.
âWell?â you insisted. âWhat did the text say?â
âThat you deeply cared about me,â he said, almost mumbling. âAnd that you thought of me as caring, and kind.â
âI meant it, alright?â you said in a more serious voice, wanting him to understand. âYouâre the most exceptional person I know. Youâre kind, gentle, funny, and caring. Youâre a great friend to the boys, and youâre doing your best to have a good relationship with Tom, even when itâs not easy. Youâre always there for me, you're always ready to spend time with me no matter the activity, and I know I always count on you whenever I need help or need comfort. You always know what to say, and you always listen to me when I have something to say. Youâre also smart, and a damn good Quidditch player. I know youâre scared of becoming like your father, but I know you wonât. Because you two couldnât be more different. And even if you started to be like him, we both know Iâd smack some sense into you.â He had a hint of a smile and you went on, âYes, sometimes youâre annoying and I think you love to fight too much, but nobodyâs perfect, and I wouldn't want you to change for anything in the world. Youâre the best person I know, Mattheo, and thatâs why Iâm in love with you.â
He whipped his head towards you, and thatâs when you realised what you just said.Â
Oh, no. Oh, no. Merlin, no.
âIâŠJustâŠForget what I said.â
You quickly rose up and almost ran back to the house, but you suddenly felt a warm hand on your wrist.Â
âWait!â Mattheo said, âWhat the hell, you canât leave like that after saying that to me.â
âYes I can,â you retorted, panicking, âand thatâs what Iâm doing, justâŠforget it happened, alright?â
Mattheo let go of your wrist to run a hand through his dark curls.Â
âBut, y/n, I canât forget,â he said, frowning, as if it was obvious, âand I donât want to. Did you really mean it?â
âMattheo, IâŠâ
ây/n, please,â he cut off more severely, both his voice and eyes now pleading. âPlease, answer me.â
Doing your best to not look at him, you hesitated before nodding, feeling the need to disappear. He looked at you in a strange way, and you wondered what he was going to say.
âLook, Mattheo,â you started, âI know our fâŠâ
âI love you too.â
It was now you turn to look at him with confusion. âWhat?â
âI love you too,â he whispered. âYouâreâŠall I want, and all I need. You said this house is my home, but the truth is, youâre my home.âÂ
All of a sudden, he stepped closer to you and brought his hand to your face, slowly caressing your cheek with all the gentleness in the world. You wondered what you should do next -Â put your hand on his? Put your own hand on his cheek? - but he made the decision for you, suddenly lowering his head towards yours.
âFuck, y/nâŠâ
And after that whisper, he pressed his lips on yours. It took you a few seconds to kiss him back, but when you did, he immediately grabbed your waist to pull you closer before putting a hand on the back of your neck. You let out a moan, and he deepened the kiss. You had a hard time believing what you had been dreaming for years now was actually happening but at the same time, Mattheoâs lips on yours and his hands on your body was all you could feel, all you could think about and all that mattered. When he finally pulled away, you were both out of breath.Â
âDoes you saying that you love me and this kiss count as two more birthday gifts?â he suddenly asked.Â
âIf you want,â you laughed.Â
âThen, it really is the best birthday Iâve ever had.â
You both smiled at each other before he kissed you again before taking you into his arms, holding you as if he died if he let go. You held him as well, feeling that, wherever you were, Mattheo was also your home.Â

All your dad! Quinn works are absolutely perfect and adorable đ„čđ„č I canât stop smiling and blushing thinking about all these scenarios youâre writing!!
I would love more dad pieces if you want to take on Quinn with a newborn during the season and heâs somehow effortlessly balancing the team responsibilities and being such a supportive and helping husband/bf with this next big chapter in life becoming parents!! đ
Since his daughter was born, Quinn has been balancing life as team captain and new father with quiet commitment. Morning practices lead into nights spent rocking her to sleep, and he moves between both worlds with a steady, natural ease.
Every morning starts the same way, often before the sun has even risen, with the soft cry of his daughter stirring him awake. Itâs a sound heâs learned to recognise instantly, one that pulls him from sleep without a second thought. Almost automatically, Quinn shifts in bed, reaching out to gently touch your side to silently tell you heâs up before slipping out from under the covers.
The bassinet sits close by, tucked into the corner of your shared room, and he moves towards it quietly, careful not to make too much noise. With a practiced gentleness, he scoops her up, cradling her tiny body against his chest. She fusses for a moment, little hands reaching out, but Quinn has grown accustomed to her needs, the small patterns that calm her.
He begins to sway slowly, his hand moving in soft, rhythmic circles across her back, his voice barely a whisper as he murmurs, âShh⊠Daddyâs here. Youâre alright.â
In these early morning hours, he feels the weight of fatherhood settle around him. Thereâs something about these moments, the stillness of the room, the soft hum of the early dawn, that prepares him for the day ahead. Itâs not just his responsibility; itâs his privilege, a role heâs embraced completely.
When he hears you stir, sometimes catching you watching him from the bed, heâll glance over, offering a soft smile, one that says heâs got this, that you can rest a little longer.
Later, as the day begins, Quinn makes a point to carve out time just for the three of you, finding moments of calm amid the morning routine. You settle on the sofa together, coffee in hand, your legs stretched out over his lap, while he cradles your daughter in one arm, his other hand absently tracing soft patterns over your leg. His touch is tender, his fingers moving in slow, familiar circles as he watches his daughter doze, her tiny hand curled around his thumb.
Every now and then, he glances at you, his gaze soft, as if savouring these few minutes of quiet family time before he needs to head out.
âItâs wild how much I miss this when Iâm gone,â he murmurs, eyes lingering on her peaceful face, a hint of awe in his voice.
His fingers keep moving over your leg, each touch a quiet reminder of his presence, of his love for this small world youâve created together.
And when itâs time to head out, he leans in close, brushing his lips softly against your forehead as you linger in the kitchen, then kisses the back of his daughterâs tiny hand, holding onto the warmth of home to carry with him into the day ahead.
After games, no matter how late or how worn out he is, Quinnâs first thought when he gets home is you. He steps through the door, eyes scanning the room, immediately looking for ways he can pick up where you left off. If he sees a pile of dishes in the sink, he rolls up his sleeves and quietly starts rinsing them, his movements calm and methodical, wanting to ease your load without disrupting the peace of the evening.
Heâll take over without a word if your daughter stirs, lifting her from the bassinet with a practiced gentleness. Even on nights when exhaustion is etched into his face, he holds her close, rocking her back and forth, whispering softly until she settles. Sometimes, heâll glance over at you and give you a tired but reassuring smile, quietly telling you to rest while he handles it.
If he notices the little signs that youâve had a long day too â a few things out of place, a half-empty cup of cold tea â heâll gently steer you toward the sofa or the bedroom, encouraging you to take a moment for yourself.
âGo relax, get some rest,â heâll say softly, a hand on your shoulder. âIâll finish up here.â
Thereâs a steady dedication in his tone, a quiet promise that even in his most tired moments, heâs here to make things easier for you both.
And when he finally settles down beside you, itâs with a content sigh, an arm slipping around your shoulders as he pulls you close. These small, thoughtful gestures arenât anything grand, but they add up, each one a reminder that heâs as much a partner as he is a father, fully present and endlessly devoted.
When Quinn is away, he settles into a familiar routine, making time every day to call, fitting in quick video chats and messages between team meetings and practices. Each call follows a comforting rhythm: heâll ask about how youâre doing, listen to every little detail about his daughter, then share a bit about his own day, just to keep you both close, even from a distance. Heâs always careful to call in the evenings too, timing it so he can catch her right before bedtime, watching on the screen as you rock her to sleep, his voice soft as he murmurs, âGoodnight, Bug. Love you,â knowing she canât understand the words yet but hoping, somehow, she feels them.
But that routine didnât come naturally at first. He remembers that first road trip, only a few weeks after she was born, and the way heâd delayed packing his bags, lingering at home as long as he could. Heâd held her close that night, pressing a soft kiss to her head as he whispered, âIâve gotta go to work for a little bit but Iâll be back soon,â his voice thick with the weight of those words. He felt the quiet ache of missing her even before he left, and though he tried to hide it, heâd caught your eyes welling up too, both of you navigating the bittersweet moment. Not quite ready for your tiny bubble to burst just yet.
From that trip onward, little rituals began to form, small gestures to bridge the distance. The night before each trip, Quinn spends extra time with her, rocking her a little longer, talking to her in a low, steady voice as if building a memory they can both hold onto. And when he leaves in the early morning hours, he always pauses at her bassinet, taking a quiet moment to brush his fingers over her tiny hand, his heart heavy with both pride and longing.
âBe back soon, Bug,â heâd whisper, careful not to wake her.
As he adjusts to life on the road with a family at home waiting for him, he finds ways to stay connected. Each morning, he starts his day with a message to you â a quick good morning, checking in to see how the night had been, letting you know heâs thinking of you and counting down the hours until heâs back by your side. Heâll send photos that capture pieces of his day he knows youâll enjoy â a sunset over the city from his hotel room, a perfectly plated dinner from team meals, or the view from the bus on the way to the arena. And, just for you, heâll sometimes snap a quick mirror picture in his suit, straightening his tie with a half-smile, even though heâs not a fan of selfies.
But a quiet gesture that started on the very first trip away is the flowers. He hated the idea of leaving you both so soon, with your daughter only weeks old, so heâd arranged for a bouquet to arrive that evening â a way of saying, âthinking of you both. Wish I was there.â From then on, every time he leaves for a road trip, a bunch of flowers shows up at your door in the early evening, right as the light softens, filling the room with the warmth he wishes he could bring himself. Sometimes itâs simple wildflowers, other times roses or soft-petaled lilies. Each bouquet is different, but the card is always the same:
For my girls. Iâll be back soon. Love, Q
On nights when your daughter is restless, the two of you fall into a rhythm, tag-teaming through the long hours. You take turns, each of you catching snippets of sleep between the cries and the soothing. Tonight, itâs technically your turn, but when her soft whimpers start up less than an hour after Quinn last got her back to sleep, he stirs, already aware of how worn out you are.
As he feels you begin to shift out of bed with a tired sigh, he rolls over, gently smoothing a hand over your waist to stop you.
âIâll get her,â he whispers, his voice hoarse with sleep, but his touch warm and comforting.
Before you can protest, he leans in, pressing a soft kiss to your shoulder, a quiet reassurance that heâs got it handled, really.
Then, without another word, he slips out of bed and pads softly across the room to her bassinet, leaning down to scoop her up, his hand resting gently on her back as he begins to sway. You watch him from where you lay, heart swelling with gratitude as he settles into the familiar rhythm of rocking her, his figure shadowed in the dim light. And as he hums softly, you can feel the weight lift just a bit, knowing heâs right there beside you, sharing every sleepless moment, every soft whisper, every ounce of love that fills these quiet hours.
Fatherhood may be new, but the way he carries it makes it look like itâs always been a part of him.

NNN - matt sturniolo - period help
You and Matt were laying in his bed together, limbs tangled with one another as your eyes were focused on the movie you were watching. Here and there, matt would make some remark, causing you to rebutted against it â and occasionally your laughs mingling with one another as you joked about the movie.
âNo â no, she definitely has feelings for that kid. I mean she literally acts so dumb in front of him and not around anyone else.â you argued, propping yourself up onto one arm as you spoke to matt.
He shrugged, âi donât know â i donât see how, i mean she acts dumb around other people too. how can you rule this out to her liking him?â he asked, his hand coming up to poke at your temple. You just rolled your eyes, âI have a feeling.â you retorted back.
He hummed, taking his eyes away from you to train back onto his tv, your own doing the same as you settled back into his side. After a while, you felt the urge to pee â having drank all that water and sodas not long ago.
So you carefully shifted, trying to shimmy your way out of mattâs grasp. But, when you shifted to slide off the bed, you felt the unmistakable feeling of warmth between your legs â and your body froze. Your eyes went wide, looking down to where your body sat on mattâs bed, seeing the stain of red under you.
You squeezed your eyes shut, feeling the embarrassment seep into you. âFuck â fuckâ
You shifted uncomfortably, hoping that matt wouldnât notice how ridge your body went. But to no surprise â matt always being attentive of you â you heard his voice behind you, soft and concerned.
âSweetheart, are you alright?â he asked, his hand coming out to rest against your shoulder, rubbing small circles. You swallowed, letting out a breath you didnât realize you were holding.
You nodded slowly, opening and closing your mouth a few times before looking over your shoulder at him. âI just â uh ââ you stammered, your gaze falling to your lap and the bed again. Matt furrowed his brows, moving on the bed to sit beside you. His gaze now looking down to where yours was at, and his face softened.
âOh baby,â he whispered, his hand now resting on your lower back. âAre you okay?â he asked, tilting his head to look at yours better. You looked at him, face red with embarrassment. âmhmâŠyou â you arenât grossed out?â you asked, voice barely above a whisper. You wanted the world to open and swallow you whole.
He shook his head, his body now moving to stand as he moved in front of you â holding his hand out. âItâs a natural part of you, why would i be grossed out by something you canât control?â he said, and you head tilted back to look at him before putting your hand into his.
He helped pull you up, the gross feeling still clinging to your skin. âDo you need me to run you a shower baby?â he asked, and you nodded. âyes please.â
He hummed, letting your hand go and walking over to his dresser. He pulled out a hoodie of his and a pair of sweatpants, also grabbing a pair of your underwear you seem to have left here. He walked past you, going out the bedroom door and into his bathroom to start the shower for you â making sure it was hot enough.
When he was done, he came back into the room, you body still planted where he left you. Holding out his hand again for you to take, he tugged you toward the bathroom. âDo you need anything else while youâre in the shower? snacks, heating pack?â he asked softly, letting you step into the bathroom as he began to turn away.
âUhâŠsome of those rice cakes with peanut butter and a heating pack please.â you muttered, and he smiled, walking away toward the kitchen as you closed the bathroom door.
When you were finished with your shower, getting dressed into the clothes matt picked out for you and using a pad (or tampon) from the pack you kept here just in case â you wandered out of the bathroom.
You set the towels in the washing machine before pivoting and walking into mattâs room. The sheets on the bed were already changed and the things you requested were already there waiting for you. You smiled softly, walking over to the bed. You didnât hear mattâs footsteps behind you, his arms wrapping around you.
You jumped slightly, a giggle then following. âThereâs my pretty girl.â he mumbled into your neck, pressing a few light kisses there. You couldnât help but smile more, letting your head tip back to rest on his shoulder. Matt pressed one last pec to your neck before pulling away, âI got everything you requested and-â he paused, bringing something around in front of you. â- i figured you might want this guy.â he held mr.wrinkleton up in front of you, swaying him back and fourth.
A big grin spread across your face as your hands reached to grab the stuffed pug, wiggling out of mattâs grip to turn around. âYouâre the best, did you know that?â you said, pressing a light kiss to his jaw. He chuckled, his hand coming up to rub the small of your back once more. âI mean, iâd do anything to make you comfortable â i hope you know that.â he admitted, and you nodded in understanding.
âSo â want to get back into bed now?â he asked, already detaching himself and going to his bed. You gave him a look that already spoke for itself, walking over to the bed and climbing in under the covers.
Once you were situated, you turned your head to matt, holding his stuffed pug close to your chest. âI do want one more thing though.â you said, and mattâs eye brow raised slightly. âYeah? whatâs that?â
You smiled, scooting closer to him and swinging a leg over his slowly. âLots and lots of cuddles.â

If you enjoy my work consider sending me a tip at https://ko-fi.com/rotwrites  (Not required by any means, writing requests are still free!)Â
â------------
The summer at the institute was always a little boring, or even very boring. You were one of the few students who hadnât made plans and ended up stuck in the mansion, doing mindless tasks and trying to not be bored out of your mind. It was mostly empty, and as you walked the halls, you hardly even noticed the change in atmosphere. It had just been you, Charles, and a few other kids that would pop up every now and then. So, you were rather surprised when you rounded the corner and saw him standing there.Â
âLogan,â You call, and he turns to look at you. Your breath catching in your throat as you take in the sight of him, sweaty and a little dirty from whatever he had been doing. âI thought you were out for the summer?â
âYeah, was. Chuck called me back, gotta fix up some things.â He looks you over, and smiles, the flash of his sharp canines sending flutters right through your stomach.Â
âOh, well itâs good to see you.â You try not to stare, wondering if he has somehow gotten even more alluring in his brief absence. The length of your shorts, and thin fabric of your tank making you feel much more bare now than before. âIâll let you get back to it,âÂ
âThanks, doll. Weâll catch up when Iâm done.â Something in his voice feels different, but you try not to focus on it as you head over towards the kitchen. He did look rather good, maybe even more than he usually did. Though you had been trying desperately not to think of him in that way, to preserve one of the few friendships you had built here. But the image of him dripping in sweat, in a dirt stained beater and jeans that were tight in all the right spots. That image would make things harder for sure. The thoughts of his teeth sliding along your neck, his rough hands clinging to your hips.Â
You pushed those thoughts down as best as you could and decided you would attempt to read, lounging in the corner of the kitchen, book in hand. Your eyes flicking across the pages, barely absorbing the words, just trying to give yourself a reasonable distraction. You werenât sure how long you had been doing this before Logan had made his way into the kitchen.Â
âReading?â
âBarely-â you laugh, but are briefly silenced when you look up to see Logan, shirtless. He has his dirty tank in his hand, using it to wipe the sweat from his brow. It wasnât even that hot out for the season, and yet he was somehow soaked in sweat. You couldnât imagine the work Charles had him doing to be that strenuous.Â
âOh yeah? Something on your mind?â He loops the fabric of the tank through one of his belt loops and walks over to the fridge.Â
âUh-â You canât help the way your mind practically goes blank as you watch him. Heâs taken a beer from the very back of the fridge and popped the cap off on the edge of the counter, hopefully he hadnât chipped it or that would be another thing to add to his list of repairs.Â
âYou want one?â He references the drink in his hand, you nod and stand up from your chair. Whatever book you were reading was quickly forgotten and left on the floor. You stand next to him leaning against the counter as he opens the beer for you and hands it to you. He mustâve bought them and hid them in the back of the fridge whenever he had gotten back to the mansion, cause you couldnât recall seeing any in there for the past few months.Â
As you take the beer from him your fingers brush against his, and as if he had been shocked he flinches. His eyes are dark as he looks down at you. He grits his teeth and tries to regain his composure, but you can tell something is going on. You step closer to him, your hip almost touching him. He leans down towards you, as if he was going to tell you a secret.
You want to turn your face towards his, to swallow him up in a kiss, to beg him to tell you what he was thinking. But as he moves closer to you, you find yourself paralyzed.
âYou smell good,â he breathes in, his face inches away from your neck.
âSo do youâŠâ You turn your head to avoid his gaze. He smells better than usual. Something about the smell of sunshine, dirt, and whatever sawdust or debris had been falling onto him made you want to reach out and grab him, but before you could, he corners you. Your back against the counter, his hands finding your hips and effortlessly lifting you on top of the counter. He presses himself against you. You're caged in by his large arms, the muscles taut and glistening.
His face against your neck, his teeth almost brushing against your skin. His rough fingers digging into your hips. The fabric of his jeans rubbing up against your thighs, now wet from his sweat and your sudden excitement.
âLogan-â you whine, practically trembling, and he seems to remember himself.
âSorry, doll.â He steps back and looks you over, a devious glint in his eye. Without another word he is gone from the kitchen. You are unsure of what to do, or what even was happening but eventually follow him.
He has resigned himself to his room, and you can hear him pacing back and forth behind the door. You knock gently and the sounds stop. He opens the door just a crack, he seems even sweatier and disheveled from when he had found you in the kitchen. His eyes piercing and intense, his pupils blown wide, his breath slow and shaky.Â
âLogan, are you alright?â
He grunts in response, shaking his head.Â
âWhatâs wrong?âÂ
He looks you over, and opens the door wider. You step inside and he quickly shuts the door. He looks even wilder than he had in the kitchen, still shirtless, only in his jeans. Which you try not to make note of the very large and obvious bulge in the crotch. His hair is messy and disheveled, you imagine he had been running his hands through it as he was pacing around.
âLogan?â You walk towards him and he makes a strangled sound. âAre you feeling ok?â
When he turns towards you, your heart races and your breath catches in your throat. He looks so pathetic. Rendered down to some poor animalistic creature. He walks slowly towards you, and when he is a mere step away he grabs your hands and pins them up above you, your back pressed against the door.Â
âYou should go,â He growls into your ear as he brushes his nose against your jaw. âToo dangerous for you to be in here.â
âWhy? Youâre not gonna hurt me,â You lean into his touch, resting your head against his.
âMight,â He drops your wrists and tries to step away, but you follow. Keeping the gap between you as small as possible. He groans as you run your hands along his arms, trying to be gentle and encouraging so that he may tell you whatâs going on. Before you can ask, he takes one of your hands and slides it underneath the waistband of his pants.Â
Your eyes widened as you feel the weight and heat of his cock in your hand. You curiously push your hand down more and feel a swollen bulb at the base of it. Oh.Â
Oh.Â
Now you understood. You had at some points wondered just how animalistic his mutation was, but now you got it. Late summer was a rather common breeding season for a variety of mammals and it seems as if Logan was one of them.Â
âLet me help you,â You slide your fingers up the length of him, tracing the prominent vein on the underneath of the shaft.
âDonât think thatâs a good idea,â He shudders as you wrap your fingers around his cock.
âWhy not?â You smile up at him, and you feel him straining to not thrust up into your hand.
âYou might regret it.â
âI donât think so,â you lean up so that your lips are nearly brushing his, and his restrain snaps.
He closes the distance and practically devours you, kissing you rough and desperately.Â
It was as if a fire had been reignited within him and he could do nothing to put it out. His hands grasping and clawing at you, wrapping his arms around your waist and squeezing you tight against him. His lips leaving frenzied kisses against your jaw and neck, his teeth grazing the soft skin and his tongue soothing the small marks left in their wake.
He lifted you easily, dragging the both of you towards the bed where he tossed you down against the mess of sheets and pillows. His hands running along the curvature of your body, as if removing himself from you would cause him great pain. His face was wild, that of a crazed man who finally had found whatever he had been searching for.
You were utterly breathless and your heart beat rang in your ears loud as could be. He makes quick work of your clothes, tossing them off somewhere, his hands hardly leaving your body for more than a few seconds. He drags himself away from you for just long enough to find himself kneeling in front of you, pulling you down to the edge of the bed, your legs resting on his shoulders, his head between them, looking up towards you with the most pathetically hungry expression you could have ever imagined.
âYouâre sure doll?â His voice is strained and rough.Â
You nod, your hands finding their way to tangle in his hair to softly encourage him to continue. He growls and presses his lips to your inner thigh, kissing the soft skin and taking the flesh into his mouth to nibble and bite at. Trailing up and down the length of each thigh, relishing in the small whines and moans leaving your mouth as he decorates your delicate skin with marks. Feeling satisfied that you were now his in this moment, he brings his attention to the aching spot between your thighs, dragging his tongue up through your folds to lap and suck upon your clit. The feeling electric and mind numbing. He slides his tongue along your clit in sloppy circular motions, sucking it in gently, generating small whimpers from you. He growls as he hungrily slurps you up, his patience growing thin as he becomes entirely enveloped in your scent.Â
He pulls away from you, a small whine leaving your lips as you sit up and rest on your elbows to watch him. He quickly kicks off his pants, and you gasp when you see him. The tip of his cock is red with need and practically dripping. You feel a bit more intimidated now as you stare wide-eyed at the bulb throbbing at the base of his cock. You could only pray that it would fit.Â
Logan smirks and hovers over you, caging you in with his large arms. âHaving some regrets, princess?â
âNo,â you lift your hips up to shamelessly rub yourself against his erection and he groans. One hand moving down your body to roughly grab your hip pushing you down into the mattress. He slides his cock between your wetness, your breath hitching when the head of his cock bumps against your clit. Your arousal coating him, the slick wet noises make your head spin.Â
âPlease,â You whine. He presses the tip against your entrance and you try to lift your hips closer to him, begging for it to slide inside. Your breath hitching when it finally does. He moves painfully slow, the drag of his cock slowly stretching you out. A sort of burning rising in your stomach as you strain to be closer to him.
âSo desperate,â He huffs, wrapping an arm around you and holding you close against him as he bottoms out. Your whines make his heart ache. âIâve got you princess, Iâm right here.â
You claw at his shoulders, his arms, his back, anything you can reach. The knot at the base of his cock pressing into you, you feel like you could break. Heat spreading over your entire body. You canât get close enough. You want him to devour you. To take what he needs and worry about you later, but heâs being so gentle that it makes your eyes water.Â
His pace stays slow, once he feels you relax, he pulls himself back before pressing in again. Slow, deliberate, patient. He watches your face as you try to play tough, acting like you can handle it despite your trembling. When you flutter around him and a broken moan falls from your mouth he falters.
âI donât think I can be gentle for much longer,â He whispers against your neck, kissing right below your ear.
âSo donât be,â your whimper flips a switch in him. He would have preferred your first time together to be different than this, to be softer and sweeter. To be kinder to you. But when you beg to help him, and try to take him so good, he canât help himself.Â
He barely hesitates before his pace quickens, and the sheer force of his movements is enough to make your brain fuzzy and dumb. The headboard smacking into the wall with every rough movement, the bed frame creaking beneath you. Youâd feel bad about all the noise if you were in any position to feel anything other than Logan ruthlessly fucking you.Â
His cock stretches you in such a way that each thrust presses against that sweet spot inside you. The knot at the base pressing against your clit. The slap of it sends little waves of pleasure throughout your body. His pace hardly falters, as you grip onto his arms, your legs tightly wrapped around his waist, desperately trying to take it. To help him through it. Wanting him to use you and be satiated.Â
âFuck, thatâs a good girl,â he groans as he feels you tighten around him. You tremble and whine, shaking as your orgasm takes over and you can hardly think of anything as his motions begin to falter too.Â
He shudders as he pumps into you, his ruthless pace being diminished into small quick thrusts. You groan as you feel the knot slip in, and he cums. You feel so utterly full as more and more cum is spilled into you. So much so that itâs dripping down onto the mattress beneath you. Your eyes rolling back in your head, and you can feel drool leaking from your open mouth. Your body feeling limp, you can hardly manage to keep your eyes open and steady enough to look at Logan. He seems hardly affected.Â
âWeâre gonna be here a while, Doll. Donât get tired on me already,â Logan grins, pressing his lips against your neck and you shudder as you feel his sharp canines graze the sensitive skin.
At least the rest of your summer would be far from boring.Â
