i love hearing crows while waiting for the bus in the morning....... <33
#my lore#i saw 3 flying around and yelling the other day ^_^#and sometimes i'll see goldfinches and vultures and hear catbirds and bluejays :3#it's hard to see their colors when it's so early but goldfinches fly silly so they're easy to identify#i think im getting a lot better at using shape & size & sound & flight patterns to identify the birds i see#i used to rely on plumage a lot........ thinking about a bird's individual parts (tail shape & wings & legs & beak) has helped a lot#and once i see a bird while it's singing i tend to remember what it sounds like#uayyyyy
