but actually-- well, first, tldr: kingshammer = (divine) weapons song, specifically divine power intervening in mortal affairs, and for hardwon it's his hero's journey song.

but i was going to say "oh, i'll real quick go into the times kingshammer has been used since i made that post" except it HASN'T. (well, i found one use that's missing from my original post-- kingshammer gets used uncredited in eldermourne ep30 for fia's father's spirit speaking to her, but that's not my actual point here) kingshammer hasn't been used since i made that post. like a few months ago i would've bet like. actual real life money that it would get used for the ice knife (weapon) but no!

hardwon took the godshammer with him to the astral plane, and. god. i'm now curious if murph and emily intend to save kingshammer to be used again when they do a boobs astral plane arc. it's an iconic song so i wouldn't be surprised if it came up in the c3 finale or smthn but..... interesting.
