I watched Isle of dogs for the first time today and omg.
#chief my beloved#THE WAY THIS MOVIE LOOKS SLAPS#i thought it wouldn't be for me after seeing how... taxidermy-like the dogs look but it really enhanced the vibe#the melancholy but refusal to give up on surviving? great#the plot? very insane and got rushed at the end but still good#i watched the brazilian dub specifically and the voice actors killed it#especially chief's#i listened to his “im not a violent dog. i dont know why i bite” rant on both english and portuguese and they're both iconic#isle of dogs
