the thing abt borderIands is that every group sucks. the bandits suck but even then a good portion of that is the environment theyre in and what you have to do to survive on pandora. the corporations suck but think theyre better than the bandits but they still have the same amount of murder and cruelty and abuse of their own people that bandits do. vault hunters inherently kind of suck and will do anything for money. in some ways i understand bandits and vault hunters more because the first game does open w a song abt having to do bad stuff to survive. meanwhile the corporations just want to keep on getting richer.

#we left an entire population of criminals on a planet with little to no resources #what happens next will NOT surprise you #man i keep thinking abt the fact that baron grew up in a bandit clan and then stopped and became a genuine warden for one of the #corporations (dahl) and seemed to not want to be a bandit anymore and then dahl left and he had to resort to being a bandit again #unless i have the timeline messed up and zane is the youngest and they only became bandits after dahl left. was that ever clarified #either way. i do think most of the actions of bandits are from extreme circumstances . doesnt justify it but.#explains it i guess and paints it in a more nuanced light?#i think they forgot that baron didnt become a bandit until after the prison thing and then didnt realize what saying zane grew up in a #bandit clan would do to the timeline #like did they both start out in a bandit clan and then baron tried to go straight but then ended up back as being a bandit?#who knows #certainly not gbox
