#if you dont know either language or their rules it may be harder to distinguish but Lucanis DOES speak some Italian#he doesn’t speak exclusively Spanish#people and their ancestors can move!#i think the additional cultures is a net good for Antiva's worldbuilding but i do get being cautious w cultural analogues especially in DA#and cultures “making sense” is flawed and why Veilguard is the first time we've seen East Asians in Thedas
