finished citlali's and mavuika's quests

citlali's was pretty good, I think this writing of her is good. However I can also foresee her romance subplot with the traveler becoming the one and only facet of her personality that we see in future events, which would absolutely suck ass, so hopefully her dynamic with Ororon balances stuff out ahfksdml. anyways the romance subplot honestly didn't feel terrible for me, they pushed it a lot more than usual I feel, but because traveler talks, it made me feel more like it's actually their thoughts, not ours as the player, so less awkward lol. besides that I liked the weaving together of all the plotlines at the end, with the color/memories/explanation of why citlali's a tsundere and expansion of her personality/relationships (with both her tribe and us)... it was neat! the bad guy was such an obvious 2d cartoon villain though lol. also her quest domain was so gorgeous I have 10 million pictures

I don't have much to say about mavuika's; xbalanque makes me want a child male model for the variety, and his cn voice is kinsen so I wish we'd see him again just for VA reasons lol. appreciated seeing mavuika being teasing instead of just "wow what a responsible and cool archon!" but it felt too late idkkkkkk, it feels like her arc ended before it even started, so her change in behavior after we eliminate the abyssal threat doesn't interest me much. the cutscene animation of their fight also didn't have emotional value to me lol. it was just a duel so xbalanque could test her and they could show mavuika's super cool fighting prowess, and I kinda couldn't care less (like contrasted with the cyno vs sethos duel, that at least had stakes and emotional turning points??). oh also we stan cacucu honestly, that bird is funny af. 哥们 this 哥们 that, bro this bro that, I like him a lot. also

Still, don't you think that's what gives life its spice? No matter how much Ajaw whines, he can't leave Kinich. And Ifa can complain all he wants, but Ororon's still his friend. Oh, and me, too. Ifa often says I'm too familiar with everyone — that I instantly fly off and tell all of my Saurian friends whenever he does something dumb. But that's just how we live, man. We torment and depend on each other in turns.

cannot believe the kinich and ajaw crumbs. the quote "we torment and depend on each other in turns" is nice too, also I really want to see ifa now just based off cacucu vibe check.
