always wild to find out a piece of media you love is deeply hated by the community (usually when it's a part of a series) like seeing people making entire thinkpieces on what went wrong to make it so disappointing and I'm over here like "my expectations for this were high and it somehow managed to exceed them all wtf are you talking about. it's perfect"

#...this is about wonderlands #i am so detached from the wide blands community (<- doesn't like farming) it's insane #a blands streamer i enjoy does a daily question and a few days ago it was 'what one positive thing you can say abt wonderlands'#WHAT DO YOU MEAN JUST ONE. I CAN WRITE A WHOLE ESSAY ON WHY IT'S AMAZING #ajdkfllhljk i simply care abt different things ig 💔 and gearbox made a game to cater to my taste this time. god bless #i think it was a good idea tbh bc it's like an entirely different spinoff you can enjoy w/o knowing the series #made very differently like getting celebrity voice actors and having an entirely new system that's even more rpg-like than usual #and the writing is awesome the whole theme of it is amazing. which is why i have a hard time getting how ppl can hate it sm 🥺#(tho again. caring abt different things. it's a game for a different audience basically. and i am a part of it)#it's interesting bc like. imo. bl2 covers both these grounds. of good story and farming ppl enjoy #i think that's why it's an endless classic 🤔 easy to get into and has a lasting impact on every front
