seeing someone complain that people 'these days' make discourse posts in fandom instead of creating 'content' and first of all, they were literally always doing that, second of all, this is the content they create. if you think you have to create stuff to participate and make a name for yourself (wrong, you don't have to make shit, you can just vibe, but i get the idea), and you don't think you can draw or write or whatever, you can at least make inflammatory posts. doesn't mean it's right, but i think the attention economy has a lot to do with this.
