I don't really have any particular thoughts about that tbh - I tend to separate irl things (like this) from my own headcanons. But you do you anon, why not? Whatever floats your boat 💙

(The boring, realistic answer is no. We know they are all good friends, and "kid" is just a common endearment nickname. You could've replaced "kid" with "boy", "guy", etc and it would all be the same - age has nothing to do with that.)
