i hope jade leech knows that every second i spend building terrariums im thinking of him
#i wonder what kind of drainage layer he uses or if he installs a bulkhead#side note so many of the little things he mentions about nature are so sweet#like about not treading off the path so as not to break sticks or foliage#he sounds like me lol#but a few of the things he's mentioned im like ...!!!!! WAIT NOOO#NO!!! BIG NONO!!!#YOU HAVE TO QUARANTINE YOUR PLANTS JADE#ONE MONTH MINIMUM!!!#although from what i can tell things are different in twisted wonderland because#he collects plants from outdoors to put in his terraria which i would never fucking do#for so many reasons#namely depleting the ecosystem of a native plant it needs and bc a species may be protected#but also because you can just buy houseplants that are already more suited to terrarium conditions and just clean the soil off#actually idc if things are different there lol he is still a weirdo#making things too complicated AND not quarantining his plants#i think he's mentioned wanting to bring back specimens from Harveston to cultivate#and you just KNOW his ass is NOT quarantining them#even if he set up a new terrarium for them separate from the plants from sages island#they'd still be next to each other in his bedroom on that shelf#it drives me insane insane crazy literally fucking batty im like KEEP THEM#SEPARATE !!!!!#he is on the right track and then he jsut#BRUHHHHH#im just musing i don't actually care or think it's too unrealistic for me to enjoy#i am just jotting down my thoughts bc i wanna write a fic about him with a reader who also keeps terrariums#i build vivariums and terrariums with my blood sweat and tears#but mostly blood. because of the knives involved#my hands are all cut up right now because i've been working all week lol#jade kiss them better please
