obviously hbo gossip girl had many flaws but one of them was having too many main characters with 0 chemistry and giving the least attention to max luna and monet aka the three most interesting ones and focusing instead on the boring ones . the actors not having the charm that characterized the original cast also was a huge factor of the show's cancellation

#the cw gossip girl wouldn't have lasted past three seasons hadn't been for its cast #and it really worked that it was just four long time friends + the outsider #while here its seven friends that all seem that just got to know each other there was literally no chemistry #i think Audrey's actress could've done better had the writers done a good job w her #that being sad i wish they hadn't cancelled it was bad and not in a camp way but it was fun 👍
