there is nothing quite like a tendency to get into things commonly perceived as childish and shallow and stupid to make someone feel ashamed of themselves. gotta love being an easy and socially acceptable target for being mocked, even amongst other “nerds”/common targets of cringe culture

#i tend to lean towards fixating on ‘childish’ and ‘stupid’ stuff so im used to people being mean #but this ongoing fixation has been met with. unmatched ridicule #even people i trust completely who are normally very sweet and respectful #have been straight up mocking the show as im excitedly infodumping or showing them clips. and its like #i dont know. it feels terrible #and im too scared to show any discomfort with it because i dont want to be a buzzkill. everyone else is fine with it and thinks its funny #me.txt
