I can't prove it but I'm sure that the whole "Jason and Bucky are the same character" started (or got stronger) after the muzzle design (my beloathed) for Jason.

#i understand looking for parallels and etc #and there even are a few ones #i suffer whenever i see someone saying 'jason is dc's punisher'#and then someone else counters with 'why compare him to punisher when bucky is there'#and uh... have you. read. their comics.#i also blame the whole lazarus pit thing because if the pit were influencing jay #then mind control (which is a HUGE thing for bucky) would be a relevant similarity #but that was not the case #anyway. read utrh and read captain america (2005) pls
