Werewolf!Ell x Reader fluff please?
Oof, sorry I've delayed this any further than I have already. And thank you for clarifying in DMs this is a fem! Reader. I'll sorta keep this as gender neutral as possible though, mostly because the only time I specify something gender related it's for more nsfw stuff. Sorry its short and not much interaction, I'm having a hard time finding spare time to write rn.
Werewolf! Ell x Fem! Reader
It was a strangely quiet night, way more quiet than it usually would be. It wasn't every night that you would find yourself engulfed with silence, the only thing being heard was the occasional car driving by and the A/C unit buzzing about. The sound of casual late night conversation and the television running downstairs no longer filled the empty void. It would have been concerning if you didn't know prior that Tamara and Tori went out for the night.
And thank whatever good god for that.
You had just gotten into bed, pulling the blankets almost uncomfortably scrunched up to your body as shivers racked your being. Your nose felt cold and there was an almost icy sting in the air. Kind of like you were previously dipped into an ice bath. You almost regret sleeping in just some shorts and a regualr Tshirt you snatched from your girlfriend, Ell.
Speaking of said girlfriend, where was she? You knew of her "problem", but it was more of a minor inconvenience of shedding extra fur around the house and locking the cats out her room for a few nights a month. On nights like this where it was the dead of winter and she was transformed into her fluffy self, it would have been amazing to have her cuddled up to you as you slept tonight.
Especially since she got so warm and was the one who turned on the A/C in the dead of winter in the first place
She took the whole "being a werewolf" thing pretty hard when it initially happened, so scared of herself. So no matter how much Ell wanted to as much as you did, she would not let you come near her until morning. She became larger, easier to aggervate, and easily became stronger than she initially was. Which should have been impossible considering her strength beforehand.
As much as you loved how selfless she was being about the whole ordeal, you desperately needed someone to cling onto. Your feet were cold, your face was cold, and my god you'd be wrong to not take advantage of the fact your girl is probably the most warm thing in this house right now.
Begrudgingly, you slid out of bed and thanked whatever deity existed that you had the room floors replaced with carpet a few months ago instead of the rotting hardwood floor. You tugged on the first oversized hoodie you could get your numbingly cold hands upon (this also belonging to your girlfriend) and quickly shuffled out your room.
Closing your door behind you, you made your way to Ell's room and knocked rather loudly. It was bad enough to be out of bed on a cold night, but you wish you would have brought yourself a small blanket while you waited for an answer from the other side of the door. Not even the comfortable hoodie knit with fleece on the inside was able to put a stop to your trembling limbs.
A groan could be heard from inside the room.
"What do you want, (Y/N)?"
She didn't sound the most pleased, but she still answered. Unlike how other nights she would flat out ignore you.
"It's the dead of winter and the fucking air is blowing as if we are attempting to turn this house into the tundra! Now open that door and let me sleep with you tonight or I swear I'll break this door down myself and tie you down to keep you from escaping. You're literally my only source of warm there," and as if on cue, a shiver ran it's way down your spine.
It was quiet for a decent minute of your time before you heard another more dramatic and drawn out groan come from the other side of the door.
"Come in, don't let Ringo or Tequila in."
