having a moderately insane almost-always-online quasi irc channel is good for me, perhaps
#you ever enjoy being visibly not-the-craziest person in chat#it's not *great* and honestly i should get more drinking events together w/ the local ppl there#but god it's so handy when i'm amess#i say quasi irc channel because it's treated like IRC norms#you just fuckin say shit and people decide how they want to react and there's no Expectations of Behavior#which means people might be rude as shit but if they are you can be rude back or just walk away#much better than normal experience where i have to fucking context-hop between norm systems all the goddamn time#need me some polite anarchy
