It’s not that Yuffie’s never eaten in restaurant, it’s that she’s unfamiliar with diners and of the “simple” like. Dishes like what Ignis makes are more up to speed to her. She’ll admit that she isn’t terribly similar to other girls their age, having not attended Lucian schools nor having to worry about personal costs: but it hasn’t come up as much of an issue!

That is, until she is invited to breakfast one morning, and finds boys scooping into bowls filled with…? 

What is that? 

She leans over to Prom, scoots over next to him as Noctis pulls over a box decorated with colorful chocobos adorned with naval captain hats. With careful precision, she pours the puffed rice cereal and marshmallows into her hand, picks at each piece individually.

「 This is popular back home for you? You’re serious? 」she asks, finishing off remaining pieces before waving over attendant, requests yogurt and muesli for herself.

「 Well, if you say so. 」
