#thinking about how many potential friendships i lost in my childhood because teachers used me as an ..idek - a role model?? for the class#my friend literally told me she used to be so jealous of me in elementary school she actually hated me#and not just elementary school!#i remember in tenth grade we had an algebra test that many students didn't do well on#ppl were crying and complaining to the teacher that it was too difficult#she literally said '[my name] got a full mark didn't she? if she could do it then you all could've done it too. you have no excuse'#and she asked me in front of everyone if i found the exam difficult#i wanted to disappear on the spot
