I feel kinda bad for Agent 4 since by and large, nobody really pays them attention like 8 or 3. I think part of that is because Agent 3 is so iconic thanks to Splatoon 1 AND their prominence in Octo Expansion, whereas Agent 4's story is so similar to Splatoon 1 that it's more forgettable. Plus, Agent 3, 8 and New Agent 3 all have a team working with them:

3 has the Squid Sisters and Cuttlefish

8 has Off the Hook and Cuttlefish

New 3's got the Squid Sisters, Cuttlefish, Deep Cut, AND Smallfry!

Agent 4 only really had Marie, so it's hard to envision them interacting with everyone else and that squad feeling you get with the other Agents isn't as prominent. It's a shame since I think 4 really should have gotten to "squad up" with Off the Hook like the protagonist did with their game's main idols in every other Splatoon story (1 with the Squid Sisters, Octo Expansion with Off the Hook, and Deep Cut in 3). I'm REALLY hoping they get some kind of reference and a chance to shine in DLC later on for 3, just because I think Agent 4 deserves more love!
