it's definitely interesting to consider the fact that athletes (in today's world) are celebrities and how they deal with the lack of privacy. like even removing the shipping lens from everything, the amount of things we know about joemarr is so little.

does ja'marr buy joe clothes? debatable and the story shifts depending on the month. does joe actually practice ufc moves on ja'marr? everything points to yes, but there's still no video evidence (closest is the donut incident). how did they come up with the fucking pinky shake???? we have no. fucking. clue.

i think @cementcornfield talked once about how we actually have no clue how ja'marr and joe talk to each other. we have like. seconds of mic'd up ('see that big blue thing?'), the post-saints interview, but that's it. we know nothing of how they talk outside of football, off the field. like (this was a realization that hit me last week) they could legitimately exchange the driest texts in the world (wdym 'it's finished' 'ok'????) and we would be completely oblivious.

they talk ABOUT each other plenty ('i don't throw with other qbs' 'i thought he was dropping everything' etc etc) but never WITH each other.

you compare that to teemarr, who just had a huge press conference with each other, or to jjmarr, who also just streamed for hours together. we KNOW how they tease each other, how they talk to each other, how ja'marr laughs so easily with them. compared to joemarr where it's been like seven years and we've literally never seen joemarr interact in a non-football environment -they keep that shit on lock down.
