I've decided to give Cohost a try. I'm still ritabuuk!
Is anyone who is following me also over there, so that I can find and follow you on Cohost too?
#I'm not completely giving up on tumblr yet#but given that Tumblr is currently my only social media#and given the behavior of certain CEOs#I don't want to completely lose all my connections to everyone poof one day#so far my impressions of Cohost are:#i really don't like the name and I especially don't like the terms like “rechosting”#but then again I really didn't like the name “Tumblr” when I first encountered that either... so...#more importantly Cohost seems to be small and therefore it has small-site energy#it seems to be run by trans furries so there's no tolerance for any hateful bullshit#and it seems they are experienced software developers fed up with techbroism#so i've decided to trust them to handle the probably big influx of new users they are getting right now#and to trust that they are going to gradually continue improving the site
