#i rarely use 'y/n' in my fics but i feel like it's unavoidable when im writing for optimus

I just had a rough night could I request some comfort with Optimus and an FTM reader (it can be headcanons or a drabble it's up to you) thank you

Optimus, in his good sense of your emotions, scoops you up off of the couch in the commons, away from Miko and Jack arguing over a video game. You don't protest at all, hugging onto his servo as he holds you protectively against his chest.

"You can tell me anything. You can talk to me, if you need, my spark." the prime says comfortingly, walking into his habsuite and shutting the door behind him. "It's okay to talk to me."

"It's hard to just... explain..." you mumble, looking away as he sits down on his berth, you in hand.

"Then you don't have to." he says quietly, slowly laying down on the berth, you against his chest and cradled by his servo to not disturb you. "We can stay here as long as you need, Y/n."

And you do, you nap on his warm chassis, blanketed by gentle servos. He smiles down at you, a warm look on his faceplates. He wishes you had gone to him sooner about this. You work so hard for so many things, it's only fair you get as much rest for as much work you have.
