i love the terminally online idea people have that women and men are like applauded and "allowed" to be gnc, simply bc some will question why on earth someone adhereing to the gender roles of their sex and doesn't pursue transition whatsoever thinks they're somehow akin to the opposite sex.

translation of the post: "if women can be gnc then males can conform to gender roles!!! if men can be gnc then females can conform to gender roles!!!"

#i only ever see these arguments when ppl wanna argue that a 'trans woman' who has not pursued transition whatsoever and is sporting a full #beard and lives full-time as a regular average gender-conforming man is somehow the same as a gnc woman. & vice versa for 'trans men'#ive seen transitioned ppl who still are unconventional like trans men in makeup etc and thats a whole other thing imo #also. not comparable to people going against the gender roles pushed on them from birth.
