#i might dnf or at least pause it because i really don't feel like picking it up... which is SO rare for me when i'm reading this series

so i'm reading falling free before continuing with the miles books and it's a bit of a struggle. i don't know exactly what it is but this book definitely lacks the fun factor that i associate with reading a vorkosigan book. and not in the same way mirror dance isn't fun... this one is just. a little dull i would say.

i think the problem for me, in part, is the protagonist. i feel like i barely know anything at all about him, who he is, or what he wants. i would say i'm only 5 chapters in but this book only has 16 chapters i should care about this man at this point lol

i think the quaddies are interesting and i hope they unionize but that's the extent of my feelings about what's going on in this book
