°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•
henry • peck
he's always on the move, whether it's as he's leaving for a "quick" mission with ray he'll give you one both as henry and kid danger
has to give you at least one per conversation, so if you talk alot just be prepared for a bunch of kisses
also kisses you as he's talking like he'll kiss you and then start talking and then kiss you and start talking again and repeat
"Oh, today me and Ray went to stop jeff-" he gave you a quick kiss, "From robbing the nice Nacho Ball-" He gave you another, which left you giggling.
you honor, he's a loverboy
honestly i feel like no matter what, he'll always say his favorite thing is kissing you. even if someone asks him as kid danger, he can't help but be honest!
ugh he so fine
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•
ray • head
bro if SO fucking domestic for no reason??
like no matter what, he'll refer to you as his wife. to everyone. and GOD FORBID someone corrects him
idk i just kinda think he likes seeing you as a staple in his always-changing life, like YOU are the only thing that stays the same
whenever yall are just like chilling or something i feel like he'll put an arm around you and just press a little kiss to your head
As you listened to Charlotte ramble about truly anything, you felt a pair of arms snake around your middle. "Hey, babe," He pressed a kiss to your temple.
yeah, he's domestic as fuck
he can't help it, whenever he sees you standing or sitting without him he feels the need to just make sure you know he loves you
even if you're like doing something really important, no matter who's there, it really shows everyone how much he cares.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•
charlotte • face
you already know
charlotte would most probably love to just pepper your face with kisses all the time though she doesn't like pda too much
if you like/ want pda though, maybe she will from time to time (esp if it's an important event/ your friends are there)
"Hi, my love," You greet as she walks theough your bedroom door. She sets her stuff down and crawls beside you, cupping your face, ready to give you as many kisses and she can, "Hey."
she honestly doesn't care what her firemds think, she'd (probably) fight for you
so even if everyone is in the man cave, she will still be kissing your entire face the whole time
until- she's never gonna fucking stop. nice joke, though.
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•
jasper • hand
my boy just wants to feel chivalrous(?)
he loves just walking while holding your hand, and randomly bringing it to his mouth to kiss your knuckles.
he's just happy your with him, happy that he gets to call you his.
he tries to be polite and stuff 24/7 but with how much time you're around each other, it's hard not to get comfortable.
Slow kisses had eventually developed into hungry, fast kisses. While you were kissing on his neck and jaw, his attention was somewhere else. "So pretty darling," He spoke as he brought your hand to his mouth.
it doesn't matter when or where, as soon as his thoughts drift to you he can't help but put a kiss on your hand
if you touch his face at all, expect one on your palm- if you touch him literally anywhere other than his own, he will grab you hand just to kiss the back of it.
why is my boy so fucking underrated.?

Sexiest Podcast Character 2024 — Scripted Redemption Bracket — Round 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda
Seth (Lost Terminal):
Seth is a cute disembodied ai located on a satellite called Station 6 orbiting a earth that has gone through major climate changes (Like, the Mediterranean Sea became incredibly salty lakes and Antarctica's snow has melted, leaving only rocky terrain type of major climate change). He was created when original crew realized they can't complete the mission as ground control had ghosted them + supplies are dwindling so a computer scientist(with the crew helping her out) created an artificial intelligence who can act as another crewmember, thus, making so the mission lasts indefinitely.
Jasper Moon (Badlands Cola):
He's a cult leader who's obsessed with dinosaurs. he sound like he's 1 slip away from saying UwU at all times. what's not to love?
Additional propaganda below the cut:
Seth (Lost Terminal):
He's so so lonely. The crew is unfortunately gone and Seth has them stored in a room for the last like, 18+ years. Season one is just Seth rambling about himself and his situation via sending out transmissions from the satellite in the hopes that someone may pick up on his transmissions. One of his main goals is to make more friends.
The act of sending out transmissions eats away at his limited power source. So much power that Seth admits that he would've have a lot more time of he didn't send out any transmissions but he so firmly believes that there's someone listening even though no one has responded ever so he continues to send transmissions.
His dumbass once tried to save energy but foregoing pressuring the rooms in the station only to accidentally basically cut his brain off of oxygen as the cooling fans were unable to cool down his system without air. Don't worry he was fine and had learned his lesson
He has three robot maintenance kids who help him move stuff around the satellite. Names are Matt, Matts, and Maddie! Their method of traveling is space is straight up how the cores in Portal move around, on railings!
When he was planning out his descent down to Earth (because all that transmissions had killed all of his power and now he has to get off the Station if he doesn't want to power down), he didn't think of any sort of backup plans if he was unable to talk with his voice (because he had a ai friend who was supposed to help him get down) and guess what happens when he crashed onto Earth? Yeah, he couldn't talk and Matt and Matts died on impact. Maddie survived. Seth also died on impact but don't worry, someone managed to recover his core processors and revived him
He didn't know that he died at first until he was told so and Seth get baby's first existential crisis about being which he handled wonderfully!
Random facts about him: Seth begins his transmissions with "Hello World". He chose his own voice over a number of options because at some point he liked using that voice more than the others. Its a running gag that he Does Not Like Salt. He calls the computer scientist his mother and he's such a momma's boy. There was a moment where he was called child of man and Seth interjected, say he was actually the child of woman. He's not really good with plants.
He's an overprotective parent. He slowly starts freaking out when his maintenance robot daughter goes outside for the first time when he had previously encouraged her to not be afraid of going outside, saying that she's too delicate to go outside and is about to have a breakdown when Maddie comes back. He's such massive hypocrite <3
There's a lot more to Seth but I think this is good enough propaganda to, at the very least, get people interested in Lost Terminal.

Just listened to the dolls of new Albion and wow I love it so much. The music is so good and not a single one of the characters is capable of loving normally, there is so much wrong with every single one of them. Please listen to this musical it is genuinely brilliant.
I may have rambled a bit under the cut:
Annabel - literally resurrects the man she kissed ONCE in SCHOOL into the body of a doll that can't talk. The song Annabel has a doll is so tragic to me, because you can hear the hurt from her past seeping through it. The way she is so childlike in it as if this is the first chance she's truly had to be a child, and the small little anecdotes about her father, you really see why she is like this, and you pity her - she is just a small girl who was forced to grow up so soon that she never got a chance to grow up. But in the end she does come out of this dream and sees that the doll is unhappy and lets it die again, and you feel so sorry for her, but also glad that she manages to let go finally, even though it takes her a while.
Edgar - this man is genuinely awful WHAT is wrong with him, he gets rejected by a woman, goes into the attic out of depression, finds the formula to resurrect people and thinks hmm I could make a business out of this, but it's also his insane revenge driven plan to get the woman back so he orders people to financially ruin the man she is currently with, and if that wasn't messed up enough, then BLACKMAILS her into being with him by resurrecting her father and saying she can't speak to him unless they get married. He sucks so bad he exploits people's grief for profit that he uses purely to manipulate a woman into being with him, who clearly stated that she absolutely did not want him. I actually really like him as a character because he is so irredeemable in such a human and unpleasant way. I don't know what it is about characters who suck but I enjoy them a lot. He was also played by Tim Ledsam in the production I watched which was a jumpscare. I was not expecting the Mechanisms in my musical. It didn't help that he was wearing basically the exact same clothes as gunpowder Tim. That may be part of the reason I love him, but I do genuinely enjoy characters that are Like That, for some godforsaken reason.
Byron - another interesting one. WHY are you in love with the doll that has the resurrected spirit of your grandfather in it, that's slightly disturbing, also why are you trying to elect him as mayor he can't speak? He fascinates and baffles me. The way he doesn't really see the doll as a person, just forcing what he believes it should be onto it is a bit reminiscent of Annabel, but he doesn't realise he is wrong, he is just living in his own little world and doesn't notice that the real world is burning around him until it is too late and just doesn't listen to anything else.
Priscilla - arguably the most sane person here, she still dies for the doll, but she listens to Jasper and understands him, she is just trying to end this torment and let him be happy. "Circles never stop themselves" is an insane line and the reversal of the "sometimes when you win you lose" form earlier to "sometimes when you lose you win" I am not okay about. The way everyone before her has desperately tried to cling to the things they desire, sacrificing everything to have things that they ultimately can't and all it does is cause pain. Then she comes along and has only the thing she wants, she has Jasper, but she gives it up willingly because she understands that even though she wants this, it's hurting him and she can't hold on to what she loves forever because the world doesn't work like that. She learns to let go in a way none of the other generations did. And she breaks the circle.

What are some more obscure Frost kid dynamics between em you'd want to discuss but haven't? Ik you have/had a series about that very idea (which I love btw), but maybe there's some more negative ones you haven't touched!
Hehe, I shall pull from this chart! I'm going to go over the kids that dislike eachother and the mortal enemies first but if you'd like I'll make a "it's complicated" addition, I won't be going over ones that are well known like James and January's beef
Truly, they all LOVE each other but those of you who have siblings know how it can be sometimes, you may love your siblings a whole lot but really really dislike the way they choose to act.
Dislikes
Jolyene and Janet and Judah (combining them because it's mostly for the same reason)
This moreso has to do with the way Janet and Judah interact with JEAN, while usually someone like Jean would annoy her the two have a very close bond and she trusts Jean more than anything. This often involves giving her responsibilities and errands to do that are incredibly helpful for the things Jolyne gets up to. The problem comes in with the way Janet and Judah distract her. Janet loves playing devils advocate almost as much as she genuinely is interested in the conspiracy theories that Jean comes up with. There have been many times Jean has completely forgotten about something she was going to do for her sister because she got caught up in defending a theory that makes less and less sense the deeper you go. With Judah its the exact opposite and Jean will take up all of his and Jolynes time rambling since he's perfectly willing to let him go on and on and on.
January and Julian
Julian really strives like to be his father and brothers, so he often emulates their behavior. He's a misogynist, an asshole, and puts his sense of humor above all else. He TRIES to be manipulative. Except he fails at these things horribly because...of some personal things that would be spoilers to reveal as of now. You know how sometimes you guys make jokes about Suzy and Andrew Tate? 😂 Yeah, Julian actually would watch him and his gaggle of goons. (This is why he's the least favorite kid, lol) Unlike his father and brothers who do have SOME respect for the women in their lives, or at least love, even if it manifests horribly; Julian hasn't seem to have gotten the memo and thinks he's better at everything just because he has a dick. While her sisters and mother mostly just make their view of him as pathetic clear, January seems to think she can argue him out of his position. Julian feels a sense of fulfillment and dominance from these interactions, proving that women ARE just more emotional, despite the fact January frequently terrifies him and could beat him to a pulp. These two can't be left alone with each other, but this is under dislikes because he copes and seethes a lot more about it than she does.
Joy and Jean and Judah (ditto)
Its simple really, both Jean and Judah have destructive special abilities and they are both very impulsive. Even though Jean is a bit more aware of her surroundings Joy still fears that they might cause damage to the nature they live around.
Jasper and Jill
Jill loves cooking so who better to learn from than the woman who cooks all their meals! Jasper is deeply protective over his mother almost moreso than say James for example, being a snowball he has a stronger chemical connection to her as the person who esentially saved his life and part of how he sees his family members comes from being a clone of his father. That's a lot of words for: He's an uber mommy's boy and Jill takes her attention but he knows he has no justifiable reason to be mad.
Mortal Enemies
James and Janet
Janet is quite possibly the only person in the entire family who isn't at least a little afraid of James in some capacity. She likes bothering people in general, but with James, it's actively malicious since...well, he deserves it. Sometimes, when James is tormenting one of their other siblings, she'll purposefully pick a fight with him to give them a chance to flee. Even if she knows she's wrong, she likes to pick at the things he says and pretend he's secretly insecure, true or not it manages to get under his skin, which isn't easy to do. A stranger is a stranger, but she's family. Unfortunately, sooner or later, almost all the Frosts fall in line, and because of her own vices, she is no different.
Jane and Journey
This is another completely one sided thing lmao
It started out as a very selfish and insecure thought process on the part of Jane. She thoroughly believed that having somebody around who could remember practically anything they were told was going to be a severe threat to her place in the family thus she treats Journey as a rival. Of course, she was ignoring that the people who saw value in her couldn't care less how much Shakespeare she had memorized. Still, most of the time she interacts with Journey its through sarcasm and mean snippy responses. Weirder still, her actions don't usually match her words. She says it's for the good of snowcietys "mental and intellectual health," that Jane helps Journey but something tells me that Jane just can't bring herself to genuinely leave a fellow academic hanging. It's a very """begrudging""" relationship.

Hey! I saw your Jasper and DNR meta. Interesting points and very well explained. While reading, I thought that another reason for the Arkadians to accept or ignore Jasper's behaviour might also be part of them feeling helpless themselves because they don't know how to help him even if they wanted to. Would you see that as another possibility or is there any evidence against this assumption? Thank you in advance.
Hi! Thank you! And thank you for the question too.
I’ve been thinking about it a lot and it’s brought me down like a half-dozen rabbit holes of barely-related thought so I’m going to try to keep this decently on topic.
The short answer is that yeah, I think that’s fair. They probablydon’t know how to help. I’m pretty harsh on Jasper’s friends but I have to admit, I’m not sure what I think it is they should be doing. I guess in S3 I’d say, cut him off from alcohol and try to find him things to do and then in S4… I just really want someone to engage in his/the DNR group’s arguments. Like not to oversimplify it but I’d like someone to ask outright “What WOULD make life livable for you?” and then go from there. But I admit this is a really difficult situation in the show’s universe and in real life. So it makes sense they’d be a bit at a loss.
I think counter-evidence would have to come in the form of some indication either that they don’t care (they don’t want to help him), or that they do know how to help and they’re just not doing so. I definitely think that his friends care. Even in early S3–a period I generally consider a time of Jasper abandonment–it’s not so much that they’re fed up with him and have thrown up their hands as that they’re easily distracted from his issues. After Jasper’s suicide-by-Grounder attempt, Raven points out to Abby that she shouldn’t let him leave medbay so easily–but then as soon as he does get out of their sight, they’re talking about how overworked Abby is and how Raven’s ignoring her leg. Octavia is there for Jasper when they re-visit Mt. Weather in 3x02 and then again seems concerned in the beginning of 3x04 before Jasper and Monty ditch the Mt. Weather memorial, but she doesn’t quite finish her conversation with them because she’s distracted by the injured Grounders coming into camp. Etc.
Similarly, I don’t think there’s much evidence that the people around him DO know how to help and they’re just refraining for some other reason. They do make some attempts to help him. Bellamy agrees to bring Jasper out with the gang in 3x01 despite his misgivings because Monty thinks it will be good for him (which is reasonable imo–distraction and purpose DID end up helping Jasper, eventually). Monty recognizes that Jasper has a drinking problem, but he clearly doesn’t have the power to do much more than say ‘hey, maybe you shouldn’t’ every now and again when he sees Jasper drinking. And there are similar scenes in S4: Monty is still trying to get Jasper to go on adventures (to Farm Station in 4x02) and still concerned about his drinking (while the riot was brewing in 4x06). I think there’s more evidence of people doing their sometimes-misguided best in 3x02, when Abby seems to think that confronting the past will be in some way helpful to Jasper, when she takes him to Mt. Weather. I couldn’t fathom the rationale for that then and I can’t now but my point is, I do think she was doing her best.
I realize I’m talking a lot about S3 even though my DNR meta and thus I assume your question were about S4… It’s a little harder to parse that out though. I still think there’s something distressing about Jasper’s attitude that his friends can see–I don’t think they’re completely oblivious here. But the situation is so different from S3. I think it’s harder for the people around him to get a grasp on what’s happening to him at this point. First, Jasper’s not as much an outlier anymore. Everyone is dealing with the same problem, that the world is ending again, and it’s a more concrete conundrum than 'everyone has Mt. Weather trauma’ or what-have-you as in S3. When everyone is having a reaction to this distressing new information, it’s harder to say that this one person’s reaction is especially bizarre–what is the ‘right’ way to react to the apocalypse? Further, while Jasper in S3 was showing all these really obvious alarm bell warning signs–personality changes, excessive drinking, occasional bouts of rage or tears, pushing people he loves away–Jasper in S4 is clearly off but in a way that’s harder to pinpoint and thus easier to be in denial about. He’s still drinking when he shouldn’t be and he’s occasionally cruel in a way that S1 or S2 Jasper wouldn’t be, as with his prank in the rain, but he’s also playing much more benign pranks, partying, smiling, apparently happy (in an admittedly distressing sort of… /off/ way).
So I do think it would be fair to say his loved ones are helpless/at a loss what to do with him because now they have a two-prong problem. Not only do they not know how to help him, they’re not even sure, I’d think, what the problem is. That he’s prepared with rational arguments for his actions and seems quite confident in his conclusions muddies the waters even more.
On a related note, I headcanon that the Arkadians don’t really have any concept of mental illness. Maybe that’s obvious–no one really thinks of post-apocalyptic dystopias as bastions of mental health–but I think it’s an observation that’s easy to make and hard to consistently remember when analyzing the world, at least for me. (Just like it’s easy to recognize that the Ark’s judicial system doesn’t really resemble any contemporary judicial system, but it’s hard to keep in mind just how deep those differences run and how they’d likely influence how people in this world actually act.) Not only do I think that no one knows what “PTSD” is, but I don’t think they have a concept of the long-term effects of trauma in general, of the importance of mental health, etc. I don’t think the people around Jasper have the basic vocabulary they’d need to evenstart to evaluate the mental health problems that are all through their community–not that everyone has PTSD or depression but that everyone has dealt with trauma in some form of another–let alone in Jasper specifically.
I really don’t know if any of this answers your question or if it just way way MORE than answers it. Generally, I agree that the Arkadians don’t know how to help Jasper; I think they have a few ideas but it’s a largely and understandably incoherent effort through S3 and into S4. I guess we’ll find out soon if things come to some sort of a head for him in 4x09.

I mean, since you offered- who are your Poly Monkeys' fankids? What do you have about them so far?
Oh yes, rambling time! I've only thought of names for five of them so far, but there's: Marino Obsidian (Antauri + Nova) Hermodactyloides (subgenus of the iris flower) (Gibson + Sprx), no middle name yet. Nicknames being Hermo (friends and family only), Dactyle Soma (Gibson + Antauri) Peridot Gears (Nova + Otto) Jasper Skye, which you already know is Nova and Sprx's kid lol I gave nearly all of them middle names as well because I wanted them to at least feel like they have parts of both parents. Soma's probably gonna be the only one to not have a middle name because I feel like soma would be fitting enough in two different ways- The anatomy and cytology nature of it (Gibson's side, being the scientist) and the fact it's merely a corporeal body, something our spirits reside in so we can actually do things in (Antauri's side, having died once and him I imagine being more spiritual than the others). Nova's kids having gemstones in their names is meant to be a nod towards how she might like gems in the first season which look I'm gonna say she totally loves them and collects them. I will not take anything else for an answer X'D /lh Jasper and Nova are really close. Jasper inherited Nova's love of gems and Jasper wanted to know everything about gemstones because of it. They're also a pranking duo because Nova likes to help with the more harmless pranks and fuck with Sprx and Gibson lol. Needless to say, there were quite a few heart attacks the two gave them XD She goes to Nova and Gibson whenever she finds a new gemstone or just wants to know more about them overall. Whenever I think of her speaking I just think of Daffy Duck lol, like in terms of how she talks. She's the one I thought about stuff for the most so far and I absolutely love this trouble-making but energetic and kind-hearted gem enthusiast Next up is Dactyle. They're almost as energetic as their sister (which if Gibson had to handle both Dactyle and Jasper by himself, he'd be dying at the end of the day BECAUSE HELP HIM THEY'RE TOO HYPER FOR HIM-) but unlike her they're not as much of a troublemaker. They just tend to be a little all over the place. They're a linguist and knows quite a few languages (what they are and how many, I'm uncertain). They sometimes speak in a different language to mess with their siblings, to which almost nobody but Marino understands since he figures it's best to know a few languages just in case. Jasper and Dactyle are pretty close despite having different interests Marino takes after Antauri the most out of everyone, but he's not as stoic. He's considered the responsible one out of the ten Peridot is a sweetie, though she tends to be oblivious so you can't be vague with her. Thankfully most of the family aren't with her, and if they are vague then oh whoops forgot to make it clear for PG. She's one of the stronger kids, taking after her mom on that, but if it's possible she wants to go the least violent or hurtful option because she doesn't want to hurt anyone Soma has an appreciation of both science and spirituality. His line of thinking is that if science can't answer it, maybe something spiritual/supernatural or magical will. Alongside Marino, he's a mediator and tends to be one of the responsible kids. He likes doing art stuff with papa Otto Sprx and Antauri's kid (unsure of what to name him yet) is a fiesty one. He tends to have anger issues, but Antauri, Soma, and Marino manage to calm him down when it’s needed. He's a "attack first, ask questions later" kinda guy if anyone were to threaten someone in his family. He's a grumpy lil monkey but he means well and he's generally a protective guy. That's all I've thought about for the kids so far in terms of what they're like individually ha. As lil monkeys, some of them decided to prank Chiro by calling him Uncle Chiro instead of Papa Chiro like he's been calling himself (since he helps with the kids too and is basically like one of their parents) which ultimately backfired in the most wholesome way possible and Chiro ended up crying to the others like THEY CALLED ME UNCLEEEEEE and the kids were surprised like wait WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S HAPPY ABOUT THAT Needless to say, after that, they keep calling him uncle bc yes absolutely

Relax
Tumblr media
A/N: once again, I wrote this when I was, what, ten? So, like... don't judge. Or do, I don't really care, actually. Gif isn't mine, y'all should know that. Also, this was originally meant to be posted on my other account, @thewalkingimagines , but, you know, cause I'm stupid, I accidentally posted it on here instead, and I'm too lazy to redo all of this stuffs and repost it over there. Anyway.
Genre: general fluff, but it starts out kinda angsty
Pairing: Steve Rogers (Captain America) x non gender specific!reader
Description: Steve comes back from a bad mission, and the reader (with powers similar to Jasper from Twilight) has to help him relax.
1942 words without A/N
~~
He hadn't been able to save all of them. He should have been able to save all of them. There had been children, *babies* even. And he hadn't been able to save them. He hadn't been able to get them all out of the building in time.
It had been a very long, and very hard mission. He had known it would be from the start, but he hadn't realized just how mentally damaging it couldn't been. He could still hear the screams of the victims still trapped inside of the burning building that he should've been able to save.
All he could think about was the people who had lost their lives, and the people who had lost loved ones, as he trudged into the elevator that would take him to his floor of the Avengers Tower. He didn't even bother to go to the debriefing that was held after the mission, he just headed towards his room in some desperate attempt to escape his pain and grief and stress.
 As he made his first step off of the elevator on his floor, he vaguely registered someone speaking to him.
"Mistah Rogers? Are you alright? Well, no, uh, of course you're not alright. I can feel what happened. Oh, I'm so sorry, Mistah Rogers."
The sweet, slanted voice of (name) (last name) broke through the somber fog that had seemed to wrap itself around his mind. He usually rather enjoyed the empath's ramblings, but right now their reading his emotions was not good. He had to keep up his hero façade, if he didn't, he might as well be walking away from himself. So in an attempt to get away from them, he just grunted and kept walking.
"Mistah Rogers? Hey, did you hear me?"
'Just go away, kid,' he thought to himself. He felt his emotional support beams snap just a moment before he rounded on the empath.
"You know, for somebody who has the literal ability to read peoples feelings and emotions, you sure can't tell when your presence isn't wanted, can you?!" He growled, his voice dangerously low. He didn't mean that, of course, he just couldn't deal with people right now. He saw a flash of hurt cut across their eyes at his words, but it quickly demolished and reformed into some odd form of understanding.
"Oh I'm... I'm sorry–I'll, uh, I'll just g-go now," they replied in a stuttered mumble, before scurrying towards the elevator. As he watched their heel disappear behind the metal doors, he almost reached out to tell them he didn't mean it; but the door was too fast, and before the words could escape his lips, the (your hair color) haired empath was gone from sight.
He let out an irritated sigh and ran a hand over his face, before about-facing, and continuing the trech to his room.
The second he kicked the door closed behind him, he was taking off his clothing and slipping into a pair of baggy sweat pants, and belly-flopping down onto his too-soft bed.
He just laid there a moment, feeling himself slip into that beautifully fuzzy haze of not-full-consciousness and not full sleep. Focusing on that and not the ache in his shoulders and back or the sound of screaming that still reverberating in his mind was probably why he didn't notice the soft knock that came to his door, or the click of the hinges as it was pushed open slightly to reveal the same (hair color) haired, (eye color) eyed person that he had nearly shouted at in the hallway only a few moments before. He should have been ashamed of his lack of vigilance, but in all honestly, thinking back on it later he would probably be glad he hadn't.
The empath carried a small bag that held several different items in it. Most of which Steve would deny ever using if he was ever asked outright. Everything from essential oils to lavender scented bath soaps were held in that bag.
~~~~~~~
They knew that Stevens previous explosion was not really aimed at them, he was only stressed and in desperate need of some well deserved R&R. They also knew that what they were about to do could get them yelled at by the super soldier, but they couldn't not help him. Part of being an empath was feeling someone else's pain as if it were one's own, and right now, all the pain and anger and grief that he felt was also within them. So their doing this for him was to help them almost as much.
Hesitantly, they reached out a trembling hand and placed it upon his bare sholder. At the initial contact he stiffened and sharply inhaled, but, as they released some of their power, he imediately began to calm down.
Another part of their power was the ability to manipulate other peoples emotions. It may not have been the coolest power, but, in times like this, they found it rather useful.
They removed their hand from his sholder just long enough to rub some essential oils and lotions onto their hands, before replacing them on his sholder and softly beginning to massage away the tension. His muscles were still so wound up from the mission that it took them a few moments to get through to his sore flesh, but the moment they did, he let out a small breathy groan that brought a small smile to their lips.
They worked their way all the way across his broad shoulders, and then down his back, all the way to the band of his low-riding sweatpants and back up to repeat the motion again in backwards order. Switching between soft kneading and harder circles with the heel of their small hand, continuing for the better part of an hour until his muscles were back to their previous limber flexibility.
They had noted some twenty minutes before that his groans and sighs of apriciation had morphed into soft snores and the rapid flow of rabid emotions that had cut though his consciousness before were now down to a minimum.
'Good,' they thought, 'its working.'
But now that they needed him to move, it could be possibly problematic. Gently, they moved up to his face and gingerly placed a pale hand upon it, shaking him slightly to wake him and whispered quietly.
"Hey, Mistah Rogers... he, I need you to roll over for me... Do you think you can, love?"
His beautiful blue eyes opened just a slit to see their face and he let out a rather loud, gutteral moan as he pushed himself to roll onto his back, his tired muscles not quite awake enough to push himself up with much grace, as he just kind of flopped over, one arm layed across his abdomen the other still trapped under his body. They gently pulled his arm from under his body, and layed the other straight beside him, before re-applying more lotions and returning to message his front side.
Again, they started at one shoulder and worked their way across to the other, then worked their way down his chest and stomach, then back up before going to his bicep and massaging down his arm, all the way to his hand, going back up, then repeating the action with his other arm.
They left him for a moment to go to his bathroom and start the bath. Taking the correct products from their bag, they began pouring in generous amounts of bath salts and bubbles as it filled.
They quickly went back into his bedroom and softly shook him back awake, careful not to be too harsh.
"Hey, there, Mistah Rogers, come on, I've got a bath running for you."
His eyes opened ever so slightly yet again to take in their face, and process what the (eye colored) eyed empath had said. With a groan, he pushed himself to a sitting position, and allowed them to pull him into the bathroom. Once there, they turned to him expectantly before blushing heavily and turning their back to him so he could slip out of his sweats. He was far too tired to be very embarrassed at the happenings as he gingerly climbed into the bath, using the bubbles as a sort of blanket to hide his, heh, "intimate area" from view.
As soon as they knew he was covered decently, they turned back with a washcloth and poured some soap onto it, scrubbing the foam into the rag to make it sudsy.
They bent and sat on their knees at the side of the tub, leaning forward and not hesitating to begin washing him with the utmost care.
~~~~~~~
The feeling of their rag covered hand scouring over his body gave him chills, he hadn't felt so well taken care of like this since before the serum, when his oldest freind would take care of him when he was sick. And, as much as he hated to admit it, it felt amazing. To be vulnerable to someone like this had an almost orgasmic quality to it. He let his head drop back onto the edge of the tub and closed his eyes, allowing himself to fully relax against their adept hands as they swept his body.
He felt the soft rag cross his shoulders, then down his arms, then accros his toned stomache, stopping before their hands dipped bellow the belt line and went down his legs, all the way down to his feet.
He felt as their unclothed hand moved down his arm and gently grabbed his wrist, pulling his hand above the waters bubbly surface and setting the wash rag in his hand. Wordlessly, they gestured to his groin area, asking him to wash himself while they left to get some dry towels.
He did as they had silently asked, and they returned quickly with two large, fluffy, white towels to dry him with. The empath helped him stand and step out of the bathtub, handing him one of the towels to dry his front while they patted dry his back.
He stood as still as he could on limbs that felt like jeletin as they finished drying him and helped him back into his sweat pants. Leading him back to his bed. They pulled back the bed spread and helped him lie down in a comfortable position.
They stayed like that for a few moment, just watching eachother, before (name) smiled a small smile, squeezed his hand, and turned to leave.
But their hand didn't leave his.
He held them back until they looked back down at him with curious  eyes.
"Thank you," they said simply. "and... call me Steve."
Their answer was just a kind smile and another soft squeeze to his hand. They tried yet again to move away from him, but again was stopped by him not releasing their hand. A small blush creaped onto his cheeks as he asked quietly:
"Would you, uh, would, would you mind staying with me, for tonight?" He quietly questioned.
Yet again their responding smile answered his question as they crawled down into the bed beside him. He turned towards the empath and they pulled him towards them, resting his head on their chest and reaching up to toy with his still slightly wet blonde hair.
It didn't take long for him to fall asleep in their embrace, and not much longer for them to follow suit. Their hand still buried in his soft hair.
Let's just say that it was the best night of sleep either of them had had in a very long time.
