Ahhhh!!! I love this so much! And the art style is to die for lol. They are all perfect together in every book. No matter what. Even in the movies (although the movies kinda sucked). But the show is iconic and I still rewatch the episodes often. I can't wait for season two. Percy and Annabeth's matching gray streaks are awesome. Glad they included that detail.

I could be wrong, but I feel like most of the rise fandom (not all of them) are sleeping on April and Splinter's father daughter relationship. I think their relationship is pretty cute.

April and Splinter have an awesome relationship. It's obvious that he sees her as a part of the family...that's his daughter!

There's a few parts of the series that really help portray their unique bond... Firstly, on Splinter's "secret" missions, April is usually right there to the point that Splinter asks her to let his sons know that he loves them.

"Please, give my love to my sons." "Hey guys, your pops loves you. Do not reply all."

Even in the movie, Splinter and April were together fighting side-by-side for the majority of the B plot.

During the episode, "Fists of Furry," I love how April was just as eligible as the turtles to spend the day with Splinter at the Lou Jitsu dojos.

She won fair and square, thus he took her, his daughter!

Also, She was the ONLY one that he taught his "Seven Deadly Vipers" move to.

Meanwhile, I also wonder about April's home life.

We know of her mother, Carol, but we never hear about her father...

I can only assume that he's absent or no longer living.

Likewise, we also know that April met the boys when she was pretty young.

So I can only conclude, that April's main father figure growing up WAS Splinter, which explains why they're so close now.

I don't know. I just think that the whole "found family" aspect of TMNT is beautiful, and I love how Rise of the TMNT was able to push that aspect to include April! ❤️ 🧡 💛 💙 💜

So I've been JRWI posting a lot today, but I was actually thinking abt this and I think JRWI Wonderlust is the first campaign where I genuinely adore all of the characters equally. For context: I only listen to every version of the free campaigns I can get my hands on. I have never listened to Apotheosis, BITB or Prime Defenders. I make no secret that Jay Ferin is the woman of All Time. I am so obsessed with her, I think she's awesome and I have a million Thoughts about her. Now let me talk about MYTHBORNE I fucking LOVE Aster!!!! Shes so fucking cool. Listen Connor has his whole massive emo backstory going on but I think Aster's energy is fucking awesome. The one "Final Episode" Gimmick show?? Yea im sorry I gotta give it to Cherry Blossom here what a mf icon. But I've been thinking right, and I genuinely don't think that I have like,, a Guy in Wonderlust. I made an "I miss Runt" post today but like I dont think I'm missing her more than I would miss the others yk?? I would be equally as devastated over Troy or Blink. I genuinely think the cast of Wonderlust are my favourites from the campaigns I've had access to and they are all just really strong characters for me. I've had Thoughts about all of them yk?? I don't think anything could top the wonder that is Jay Ferin for me, but Wonderlust is like,, wow. The guys have done SUCH a good job with Wonderlust. Bizly is running an excellent campaign and the main party are all just brilliant this campaign. I was thinking about it sm bc this has me tempted to pay for Prime Defenders simply because I love the way Bizly DMs so much! I want more of it!

Thoughts on the ep???

oh werepapas (such SILLY name for this nuclear bomb of an episode) was awesome!!

I love that we suddenly have SO MUCH to speculate and theorize about!

Immediately jumping into long excited discussions, rewatching older episodes and thinking about established rules and potential changes of rules, weighing different theories and reading what other people have to say! I have a few favorite theories for now, but what I want to say about this all is - ohhhhhhh I love that we literally can't know yet. We don't have enough puzzle pieces and I appreciate it how the writers threw multiple different clues at once. I am sure they know what they're doing, but for us now it seems like it could go either way. And I love it.

Adrien revived or not even hurt? Chat Noir's transformation? Ring disappearance at the table? Grandma Graham de Vanily being lowkey suspicious? Lila? Felix and Marinette scheming (seems most likely to me so far) ? Marinette and Plagg scheming? Ladybug's will? Ladybug nervous or confident enough? One fake ring? Both fake rings? No fake rings? No amok? Actually what was the exact Wish again?

God, it's SO FUN. I hope we get to speculate more, I hope we get different clues and I hope we get fooled, surprised, thrilled and disappointed, scared and relieved, that's the life of it! giggling and kicking my feet

But not going further into theories right now, as for the rest of the episode - IT WAS SO ENJOYABLE! Can't even form words about Nathalie (I'm just swept in asukiess's current of thoughts and screams), Adrien's childhood, the house. Gabriel's room all wrapped in cloth (yes yess like ghosts!). Adrinette! I love when Marinette breaks into events undercover lmao, but what I really really loved was that she planned this together with Adrien and Nathalie, Nathalie being hesitant but agreeing to the idea, because she knew it really would be comforting for him. And I haven't even mentioned the grandparents themselves! although we still don't know enough about them but their interactions were something. Grassettes seem fun, GDVs seem cursed and I want to see moreeeee!!

Troy Lougferd (He/Him)

- His real name is Tramilton Lougferd

- Presumably captured by Aeon (Bizly said 'she' for the person who captured Troy), who forces him to stay with Blink

- How does Aeon know his real name?

- There are theories that he's clockwork, just like the soldiers

- If he fails to stay with Blink, he can't go home

- Perhaps that's why he clings to Blink's side, out of fear of what will happen to him if he fails

- He doesn't have a good relationship with his father

- Troy has committed war crimes??

- He has ulterior motives

- Dislikes snakes

- I feel like he knows more than he's letting on

- I don't trust him

- Charlie has mentioned that he will get worse as the campaign continues, but just how bad will he get?

- Did not hesitate to harass Lint after coming back just because he did something to become popular

- She has cousins in the Street Rats, Doppler, and Pinch (he's the leader, I think)

- She lives with her Uncle Threestrings, and her grandmother works at the apothecary

- Due to her failing the mission, she is kicked out of the Street Rats and is no longer allowed to visit their headquarters

- Doppler gets captured when they go up to the surface and disappears

- Troy tells her that the clockwork soldiers just throw stuff back into the hole, so why hasn't Doppler turned up?

- She found a purple crystal known as Wonder Coal while she was on the surface

- Distrusting of Troy after finding out both he and Blink lied about who he truly is (specifically, that he's not Yort or from Reclaim/Cogtopolis)

- Claims to be Is the smartest girl in the city

- Scared of Troy because of his actions and how he's constantly putting everyone in danger

- Hates being called little or anything to do with the fact that she's different

- Needs a doctor (will be discussed in a later episode)

- Her leg braces help her walk, run, and jump better

- She coughed up blood at the end of episode 10 (holy shit, don't kill my gal, I will begin sobbing)

- Her grandma knows that she's ill

- It might be a disease either in her lungs or in her throat

- She's essentially dying (if she dies, I will not be okay)

- Her condition began to worsen about 2 months before episode 1

- That's also when she started trying to join the Street Rats

- Lives a life of struggle (evidently, he doesn't even have a house, and Graphite lets him spend nights at his place)

- He's very willing to help people out, no matter what (Granny Granite, Troy, etc.)

- Very paranoid and cautious all the time, probably because of the Vixens

- Knows of and (probably) works for The Inventor, but has no knowledge about him

- At risk for a heart attack because of his device and from getting electrocuted

- In a situationship with the Overseer?? Maybe?

- He doesn't have a thing for feet (as Condi said so aggressively lmao)

- Bro is fucking done with Troy (based lol)

- Medusa gave him the confidence to stand up to Troy

- She trained his ass to beat Troy's ass, awesome

- They're besties now, I love that (they do be shit talking Troy)

WD (She/Her)

- She is a fox-hybrid played by Milo :0

- She lives in Cogtopolis and is working on a way out by getting rid of the cave-in

- Friends with a koala hybrid named Carpet

- She's old friends with Ripley, but they got separated because of the cave-in

- She called Ripley really pretty, so I have a feeling that they might be gay :3

- Knows her way around Cogtopolis pretty easily and knows a lot of people

- She works for The Inventor in his secondary lab in Cogtopolis

- A lot of her tools were made by Ripley (we love lesbians)

- She definitely seems to have feelings for Ripley (yippee, lesbians!)

- She hasn't seen Ripley for a while and is desperate to get out of Cogtopolis and find her

Other:

- Clockwork soldiers are patrolling more frequently and can now speak

- The Inventor is missing after using the teleporter

- Mai is missing after going back home to The Hole

- There are no more races until she is found

- She was in the dungeon that Troy was sent down

- Mai, and Doppler, are at this "Overseer Island"

- The Street Rats are referred to as Relicites by the citizens of Wonder

- People say that they aren't real

- Borris mentions The Overseer, but who the hell is that?

- The Overseer is obtaining information from the Street Rats. He has sketches of The Inventor, Ripley, Professor Cross, and Troy

- Why does he have sketches of those people??

- How does he know about the civilization in the hole??

- The Overseer is suspicious, the way he acts and speaks seems very calculated. It freaks me out

- The Overseer needs The Inventor and needs Ripley captured

- He needs The Inventor because The Inventor will give him power

- The Overseer wants Aeon removed from her position of power

- Pinch is working for The Overseer???

- The Overseer hired him to find the Inventor

- It could also be that he has known this entire time that there is a city below his very feet

- The Mountaineers are a group of people who live near a mountain that is seemingly very dangerous. They also harvest the Wonderous Coal that is used for power

- There's a chance that since the Wonderous Coal powers everything in Wonder and Reclaim, the forest on the first tier of the Mountain is magical from the coal's properties

- The Mountain has 4 tiers, each different from each other. The first tier is a warm, forest area that gave the group 1d10 temporary hit points

- I wonder what the other tiers are like

- The Wonderous Coal isn't natural, it just appeared out of nowhere. When it originally showed up, no one knew what to do with it

- The forest has vague remnants of a place called Farindell (probably spelled that wrong lmao). None of the party has heard of that place

- They also don't know what elves are

- Dark Elves fought Farindell, their place was called Holdstead

- Fire, Water, and Earth elementals exist in a cave within the forest :0

- There's a stone that controls them

- The statues are of Dakota Cole, William Wisp, Vyncent Sol, and Ashe Winters (I need to get a job and watch this show, wtf-)

- THEY'RE AT THE PRIME DEFENDERS BASE, TF?? (I need to watch Prime Defenders-)

- Fartbo is there and there's a hologram of Tide talking about the Prime Force

- There are mostly Reclaim citizens, as far as Runt can tell

- Ripley is human, so would that mean the Inventor could be too?

- The Future Thinkers believe there is only one right way to do things and disregard anything or anyone that says otherwise, such as Ripley (she deserves better 😤)

i also thought cogtopolis was SO AWESOME. one thing i said previously that i love about wonderlust is the world building and cogtopolis is gorgeous and cool! same with the place where wd and ripley's flashback takes place :3

S?? E?? - 'When Snakey Met Annie...'

An early season Bob-centric episode in which Ann finds Snake again after he's robbed her diner and, charmed and stupid, she tries to get him to date her - he's entirely uninterested until she mentions living across the penitentiary. The wheels start to turn and all of a sudden, he welcomes the idea... Meanwhile, Bob had been reading self-improvement books (anger management, how to let go of grudges, revenge isn't the answer etc) and was on his very best behaviour, planning on waiting out his sentence and come back to society a changed man, ready for a fresh start... But when the opportunity to escape is presented as readily as it is here, he shrugs off all of his good decisions, throws his book above his shoulder and switches back to crazed maniac in an instant - and back to hunting Bart he goes! Though the focus of the episode will be Bob and Bart, several times throughout the episode there will be appearances of Snake trying to drop the charade with Ann now that he got what he wanted - but each time he'll have to keep up the farce for one reason or another;

(Listen, Snake growing a conscience and suddenly refusing to violate carpool lane rules for a one-off joke is hilarious to me. Don't look at me like that)

While their B-Plot is going on and intermittently shows them fleeing the law by car in gradually stupider situations - Bob has managed to corner Bart against the big window pane of the Mall. As he lifts his knife, about to strike... Snake's car suddenly crashes through that window and flies out of the mall above Bart, before ramming straight into Bob and splattering him on the pavement. The end of a sequence parodying the Mall Car Chase scene from the Blues Brothers.

"Dude, that was not a shortcut." Cut to both Bob and Snake getting handcuffed. Snake looks a little more sincere when he says "I'll call you!" to Ann-Doreen as the cops make him sit in the car. Mirroring that, Bob says "I'll get you!" to Bart as the ambulance takes him away. Roll credits.

WELL THAT WAS A LONG ONE. LOL. I worked hard on this one, so for once I'll say; please reblog and give me your thoughts! I hope you liked it!!

BONUS INFOS:

This would be the second episode with Ann-Doreen (outside of like, crowd shots and other non-speaking appearances in the background) and the one to properly set up the relationship she has with Snake. Lots of fun for that poor bugger!

I've made all the panels rectangular because I wanted to try and work in a format that's similar to actually watching the show - it's not 16:9 (nor square like it should technically be for early seasons) but I think we get the feeling anyway :]

That one other guy in the prison is just this random unnamed prisoner from 12x10 'Pokey Mom'. His first appearance would thus be in that ep I made, since it predates season 12!

Personal highlights of Tango's episode (session seven!)

1)first of all. how ironic is it that Tango, THE fire guy, got ice powers. that's so funny. thank you grian for doing that and I am so sure the irony was not lost on him

2)the tuff guy tuff love continues in this episode and it is lovely. they are eachothers biggest haters and biggest besties. bdubs saying "what kinda tuff guy are you!" followed by tango's "more like lukewarm guy!" to etho KILLED ME. HOLY HELL.

3)i cant not mention that chase scene. my heart hasn't pounded that hard watching a life series episode since maybe... the time etho and grian got a wither and a warden to duke it out. I cant believe he was the last green standing !! tango the goat!

4)AND THE LIMITED LIFE PARALLELS WITH THE MANHUNT STUFF

5)Tango using his nether crystal to go like "haha u guys should like blow tango up with this haha. woops nvm guess u arent fast enough :p" was SO FUNNY. he was SUCH A TROLL this session and this season!! his pov is genuinely so much fun this season and i love it

6)I would like to use this opportunity to highlight how it took SIX PEOPLE WITH SWORDS like FIVE COBWEBS, TWO ZOMBIES, LOTS OF SUPERPOWERS, LAVA, and a PARTRIDGE in a PEAR TREE to kill tango.... and then he was immediately blown up by a creeper after. my guyfail
