my two cents to the whole SMG4 situation: it's very confusing and saddening, especially in regards to Celeste- she's been doing Tari for 6+ years, so it is, in her words, absolutely devastating for this to happen in the way that it did, and Robyn's claim that the "why" Celeste got replaced is "messed up" and "not good" doesn't make me feel any better about it.

And also Lottie! I'm genuinely scared for her because, even with Celeste saying that Lottie was thrown through the ringer just as much as she was, I won't be surprised if people are harassing her over this.

I hope Glitch speaks up about this and gives a proper apology, and Celeste gets the closure she deserves.

That's a fair enough stance to have and it's probably the one most people have towards this whole situation. The thought of just getting dropped for a role you've been doing for that long and getting replaced without any warning is devastating to think about.

We know from Celeste's statement that the reason she was given was that they "assumed she was busy", which is total horse shit how do you know if someones busy if you don't check. Of course that's from all the info Celeste has shared with us, there's maybe more that she left out or couldn't say, but you know speculation is bad for situations like these so we just have to take her word for it for now.

I really do hope she's doing alright after this, and that hopefully she can get some kind of closure at some point. I also hope the other talented VA's that have left Glitch as a response to this are doing well and I wish them all the best in whatever they decide to do next, I don't blame them for leaving.

IDK if i've said it yet, but anyone harassing Lottie over this is a huge piece of shit, Celeste's and Robyn's statements both confirm that Lottie had no idea any of this was happening, this is not her fault in any way. I can imagine she probably feels bad over this too, I mean just try and put yourself in her situation, unknowingly replacing someone who wasn't up for replacement in the first place must suck so bad. I hope she's at least doing ok from all this, we'll just have to see what she decides to do as well, either way I'll respect her decision.

I also hope Glitch speaks up about this situation, however given their silence towards it so far, and their rampant advertising of TADC merch during all this, it's getting more and more unlikely that we'll get anything from them, but who knows I might be proven wrong. For now, keep talking about this and don't let them think we've forgotten about it already, trying to distract us with shiny objects is something you do to babies. It's not gonna work on us lol.

I say hope like a billion times in this but that's all we really have left at this point, just the hope that this can be resolved and we can move on from this sooner rather than never.
