i do think gregor is a little prideful in the sense that he really enjoys when people recognise his accomplishments or refer to him as the knight of flowers. he really just gets satisfaction out of being this impressive and celebrated knight when i'm sure that there are corners of the fereldan court who are so against commoners being uplifted to the ranks of nobility. even if it's, as in gregor's case, the most minor sort of nobility.

#hc.#hc. main.#i know that there's a precedent for commoners being uplifted to nobility and that gregor's isn't even as great a leap as say #l.oghain or what have you. but gregor being knighted around the same time that anora & balfour are introducing a lot of new nobles to the #hierarchy of ferelden. and SO many of ferelden's nobles are just. the worst.#there are absolutely little pockets of them who are just so annoyed by his presence. but oh! there he is! a beloved knight of not only the #people but he's also very important to the new queen! and what are they going to do about it!#YOU KNOW!!!! anyway . gregor moment etc .#might post some meta stuff this weekend bc i'm finally done with my disso for a little bit so my brain is working better .
