y'know i just realized that like. if having a persona is enough to get someone without one INTO the tv world. then it's presumably enough to get someone without one OUT OF the tv world (it definitely is, actually, given nanako). so therefore teddie probably could've been leaving the tv world the whole game-

#rambearling #teddie persona 4 #teddie hanamura #i know i think it's mentioned that shadows can't really exist outside the tv world?#so he probably wouldn't be able to stay PERMANENTLY before getting his persona but. probably could've at least hung out sometimes #what does teddie even do in the tv world when the IT's not there #i doubt he goes into the dungeons or anything-#can he watch tv from in there. kinda headcanon that to some level honestly tbh-#basically all of teddie's knowledge from before meeting the IT is either just stuff he knew as soon as he existed #(his tv world knowledge + how to talk)#and the rest is from tv in some form. whether that's directly watching it or just inherently knowing stuff #that's why he randomly knows weird crap (like knowing stud's a word for horse in the anime)#<- we've only watched up to the shadow yukiko fight in the anime but that's my favorite teddie line tbh #why does he know that #*i* didn't even know that-
