Okay ally ur post times are literally perfect!

Bc I was able to read the new chapter of the equestrian au this morning before I had to go to work and it has made what was set to be a shit day wayyyyyy better.

I know this may bore the non horse people but I’m wondering are you going to go into what the “training” that Jack does is. Bc I certainly have ideas of what it could be but I’d be interested to see what you’ve acc written and even if we’re going to see Matty use those techniques or see George’s reaction when Matty DOESNT use the same techniques as Jack.

Anyway I’m sure none of this made any sense to any non-horsey people, but just wanted to reach out and say that I love this fic and I can’t wait for the next update!

Yay!! I was feeling bad about getting it up very late in the day (that was not planned real life happened RIP) so I'm glad that it ended up working out as an ideal time! I hope you enjoyed the chapter and that you have a great day at work!! (I'm sorry to hear it was looking like a shit day though- and very happy I was able to maybe play a small part in turning it around!)

I've been thinking a lot about what Fictional!Jack could be mixed up in- Fictional!Matty was NOT involved in any of that- he kept his head down and didn't get involved. I also think that it's one of those cases where no one has any proof but they just *know* what's going down and kind of turn a blind eye? I LOVE horses and I LOVE the horse industry but WOW is it a super fucked up place? People are also so extremely petty, judgmental and extremely stuck in their opinions (hence why Fictional!George has kind of decided he hates Fictional!Matty and isn't giving him a chance, he's also a extremely jealous of him and also attracted to him, which is a whole lot of emotions contributing to the anger and hatred because he's human lol) . I also think that Fictional!Jack's program would also, even if they weren't necessarily doing anything particularly awful / shady in their training to the horses, just be kind of a toxic place to be? He's got his top riders / clients and those are the people he caters towards anyone else could go eat shit and die. Fictional!Jamie is kind of a dick but he's at least fair and also not going to get safesported any time soon IYKYK 💀.
