Rook Hunt + Aubade

i just assumed we both meant the poetry style, which i think fits rook very well!! time to dust of my more whimsical word choices :3c thank you for the request <3

also dorm uniform rook has been following me around lately (literally came home again this morning) which might have inspired this drabble

𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐤 - 𝐀𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐞

The sun’s first rays tangled with the last wisps of shadow colouring the clouds on the horizon as night and day continued their eternal pas de deux, dyeing the world in their rhythm. Overtaking the tranquil darkness, which had blanketed the campus like a raven’s wing, the early birds sang praise to the golden hues gleaming in the distance. 

In due time, the light also reached your room. Climbing over your windowsill and peeking through the curtains before slowly descending over your carpet towards the bed. You, however, were blissfully ignorant to the intrusion, too busy clinging to every bit of sleep the weekend would allow you. Yet all good things must come to an end eventually, so you found yourself blinking awake as the sun’s warmth illuminated your cheek and your mattress shifted under the weight of someone else. Squinting against the light, you were met with verdant green, a shade you had become quite familiar with.  

“Bonjour! My, you look absolutely magnifique this morning as well!” Even at this time of day his voice was positively alight with energy. “I cannot wait to see more of your beauté as the day goes on!”

“Rook?”

“Oui, mon cœur?”

“What are you doing in my dorm?”
