sophia ; she's not keen on skinship. she'll probably just stand there with her hand out, holding yoonchae's head while the younger is getting her makeup done so 1; the makeup artist doesn't have to constantly wake her up to finish the look, and 2; she has something at least little more comfortable than a chair that's not high enough to lay her head on. yoonchae is super grateful that sophia does this so her neck doesn't feel like crap afterwards. though there are times sophia will let yoonchae be held by her, preferring to be big spoon because it will deter her pride and ego if she were to ever be little spoon.

manon ; whenever yoonchae is in the mood for a nap and wants to cuddle up but the majority of the kats are gone or busy, she can and will always find manon on the couch either watching tv or doing something on her phone. yoonchae will just go up to manon and sit down next her, curling up against the older and falling asleep with her cheek resting on manon's shoulder. (manon loves this ofc and habitually pat yoonchae's knee so she falls asleep faster)

daniela ; during practice, yoonchae gets exhausted the fastest and needs extra sleep for energy. daniela is the first one to notice every time and will request at least a 20 min break for yoonchae. daniela knows to dim the lights and sit on the ground with her legs straight, yoonchae immediately laying down– on her back or sideways– and rests her head on daniela's lap. the older will play with her hair while humming yoonchae's fav songs softly. (it's so common, the staffs fixed the schedules so there's a 20-30 min block titled 'yoonchip's break')

lara ; yoonchae is the most cuddly with lara, fight me if you disagree. like she'll go into lara and megan's room and slip into bed with lara. the older always accepts with wide, open arms, tucking the younger's head under her chin. yoonchae willingly buries her face into lara's collarbone or neck, occasionally taking deep breaths to take in the scent of lara's clothes that she finds really, really comforting. instead of humming, lara will probably sing some wave to earth song, running her hand through yoonchae's hair, twirling it before letting it go.

megan ; her and yoonchae always sit next to each other in the company van or car idk whether the others like it or not. yoonchae falls asleep the fastest while in a moving vehicle, her eyes drooping five minutes into the trip. megan offers her shoulder, which yoonchae quickly accepts, dropping her head onto the shoulder and closing her eyes. megan also likes holding yoonchae's hand so she usually finds herself running her thumb over yoonchae's knuckles or just having their hand(s) intertwined in general while the youngest sleeps.

Are you asking if he uses it only for MC, or for anyone he comes across? Personally, I think he only uses it for MC but it can also be accepted it's a given pet name to anyone he comes across (like how some people just comfortably refer to strangers as 'honey', 'sweetie', etc) and mean nothing by it. Both works ::-)!

Funnily enough there is a brief mention of why he uses it in the Day 3 script, so I don't think it makes the question uninteresting at all haha! Although that does mean it counts as spoilers (sorta) but he does explain why he calls you 'firefly' eventually ::-)

Then again I'm re-writing the Day 3 script so who knows, we'll see how it goes!

I notice Nahida is portrayed as frustrated or scolding of other characters (usually Wanderer) in fanon often but to be honest I don’t think Nahida really has that much of a temper where she defaults to that sort of thing very much….She can be angry and firm as needed but I really don’t think that’s her first instinct on how to assert herself in a lot of cases.

She instead really strikes me as someone who primarily gets upset when it’s on behalf of other people or someone embodying ideas she finds very devoid of care and compassion for others….but struggles to really be angry on her own behalf. Like, it’s pointed out it’s only until she’s actively being rescued that she finally says she’s angry at the Sages, and while she is openly angry then we see later everyone comments on how they seem to have gotten off days, which I touched on in this post and feel u can infer from that this idea Nahida struggles to be harsh even towards to the people who kept her in a cage for 500 years—which makes when u see how much she rationalizes being treated like this earlier on. She ultimately seems more concerned with the Sages mistreatment of her people vs their mistreatment of Nahida herself.

This feels consistent to why she seems pretty visibly disgusted with Dottore when they have their negotiation. Dottore is more or less an antithesis to everything she believes about wisdom and embodies a lot of malice and cruelty that Nahida would be really disturbed by. I personally like to write her lack of a temper in some areas as something that seems almost troubling — bc on one hand she’s very forgiving and kind despite through being a lot, but on the other this seems like it might be rooted in just genuinely not allowing herself to be angry to protect herself. But yeah overall I think unless you’re really causing an issue Nahida is more likely to give you a kind of frazzled sad puppy look and very politely ask you to be better as opposed to hitting you with a sandal or scolding you for it

In the case of her relationship with Wanderer specifically I’ve like, talked about how I feel people overlook the fact Wanderer makes a genuine effort to cooperate with Nahida and doesn’t really fight with her much…so i don’t think they’re often bickering with each other to the point Nahida has to get really firm with him. She seems to have a pretty interesting amount of patience with him especially post AQ, which again I think is helped by the fact Wanderer is genuinely trying to cooperate and she sees that. We do see her ask Traveler + Scaramouche to stop bickering in Inversion of Genesis but she is in my opinion very polite and at most a bit awkward about it, not scolding or irritated
