Soldiers of the Empire is probably my favourite Klingon episode in star trek. It’s such an engaging story, and I love the complexity of the relationship between Worf and Martok. But also, I really enjoy how all the other Klingon characters in the episode feel like fully real and complicated people rather than caricatures, like the minor Klingon characters in many other episodes often feel to me. The Klingon characters in this episode are all different from each other with different perspectives on the events of the episode, on the war, and on Klingon culture in general. A lot of the stereotypes about Klingons that are sort of taken for granted in a lot of other episodes are subtly challenged here. Also, Jadzia is iconic as always.
