Forbidden || Meet The Characters - Y/n Bishop
No Warnings | 0.7K
Forbidden Masterlist
Tumblr media
Have you ever ridden your horse on a misty winter morning? Alongside the sun kissed lake? I have, I do it every morning before I feed the animals we own. It's beautiful, almost straight from a book! The birds sing their songs and the squirrels dance around in the flower fields soaking up the warmth of the sun, fish come closer to the surface as deer come cross the dirt road for their morning drink. If I had such skill in painting, I would paint you a picture but that isn't why you're here, is it? Well, let me introduce myself.
I'm Y/n Bishop. You may know me because of my older sister, Kate. We live on Bishop Ranch, a short walk from the town of Blisswater. My parents Derek & Eleanor Bishop took off north for a business trip, they failed to tell us where they were going or who they'd be seeing. It's been many months since my sister and I have heard from them and with no idea where to send my written letters too, we can only assume the worst as happened…. but we hold hope that one day, soon, they will come through the gates with many stories to tell of their adventures.
While my parents are away and safe (I hope), Kate and I have had no choice but to make our own money. Kate is able to make little money for us when she goes up to Soretooth to hunt for deer, foxes, rabbits and turkeys. She has a talent for using our fathers hunting bow, she sells the meat and skin to the local butcher. If the hunt is good, he'll pay her $5.50 for that animal.
Twice a week I work at the general store, stacking shelves and making sure the store is clean while Mr Wilson handles customers and the money. It's not a lot of money but it's something, anything helps. I have a little savings set aside for if Kate and I need it on a rainy day.
Kate won't ever let me travel with her, I am to stay at the ranch and keep things up to keep. I tend to the animals and crops we grow as well as keeping the house clean for the chance of any visitors. We have sheep, cows and pigs! All of which have their own names even if my father thinks it's silly for me to name them all. We also have a dog, a golden retriever named Lucky. He lost an eye when he was with my father hunting and came across a badger! Sometimes Kate will take him to Redpeaks just right to our ranch where he can help catch rabbits or birds for dinner.
I make some money by stitching up rips and tears of peoples clothing. Mostly men are passing by and want their favorite shirts patched up. I make 20 cents to $1 depending on the size or tear. It's not great money but I have been saving it if Kate and I are ever in great need of it.
Some of my other interests include:
Painting even though I am terrible with it and barely have any paint these days!
Horse riding, as if I didn't make that already clear.
Reading! My parents always bring me back a book of any kind when they travel. My collection is small, but I love re-reading them as if I have never read them before.
Fern collecting, I know it's a little odd, but my mother loved doing it and so sometimes whenever I am out on a ride or a walk around town and I see some, I'll pick them for her.
Poker! My father has taught both Kate and I how to play, although Kate is a lot better at it than me.
Seaweed scrapbooking, it sounds weird, but you can make some really pretty pieces!
Taking long walks along Talon's Lake when the weather is kind enough to do so.
One last fact is that my father taught me how to use a rifle and revolvers, almost every woman knows how to shoot a gun but not many know how to aim correctly. Kate opted for the bow, but I was just happy my father was teaching me something to pass the time.
I would love to stay and tell you more, but the sun is rising, and I need to attend to the ranch! Bye now!

don't say we're not meant to be (sean falco x reader)
Tumblr media
summary: Your parents keep setting you up on blind dates with rich, entitled assholes. With each terrible date at Nino's, you're convinced that you're simply meant to remain single and alone for the rest of your life. It isn't until you meet a valet at the restaurant that you begin to realize that maybe there's someone you're meant to be with after all.
author's notes: I wrote this for my friendaversary with @joz-stankovich / @seanfalco. Joz, you're my absolute best friend and I'm so grateful we somehow managed to find each other on this void of a website. I hope you enjoy this! I know Sean is your secret favorite, so I knew I had to finally brave writing a fic about him for you. Ily! 💖
Read on AO3
You were getting really sick of Italian food.
It wasn't that you hated it. It was an amazing experience every time you sampled a dish from Nino's. You loved their five-cheese ziti and had even dared to try ossobuco for the first time. It was all so incredible, but that only made it worse for you. The sad truth was that you were starting to associate the restaurant with rich, entitled assholes who thought that just because your parents had set you up on a date, it meant that they could call you 'sweetheart,' ignore you to talk on their phone for half the meal, and then try to cop a feel as they were dropping you off at your apartment.
The only way you cheered yourself up was by taking home a piece of tiramisu to enjoy in the comfort of your own apartment. It was always a bittersweet moment when you realized that you were enjoying your dessert alone, but you figured that was better than having to spend the rest of your night with a douchebag.
By the end of your fourth disastrous date at Nino's, you promised yourself you weren't going to let another attractive creep drive you home. When your date signaled for the check, you pretended that your phone was ringing. You excused yourself, claiming there was an emergency with your friend, and promptly left the restaurant.
You figured the least you could do was wait for this week's creep to leave before ordering your dessert to-go and then getting a cab to take you back home.
You were leaning up against the side of the restaurant, keeping an eye on the Lucky Irish Parking service so you would know exactly when the douchebag got in his car and left, when you were startled out of your thoughts by someone joining you.
"You're glarin' pretty hard there," a voice quipped from beside you. "Did we do somethin' to you?"
You startled, nearly dropping the phone in your hand, as you glanced over to see one of the valets leaning against the building beside you. "When did you get there?"
"I've been here for a while," he said, shooting you an amused look. "You've been eyein' up my buddy Derek over there for long enough that I was starting to wonder if he was in trouble."
You sighed before leaning more of your weight against the building behind you. "I'm waiting for my date to leave," you explained.
"Oh," the guy breathed. "Y'know, I've seen you here the past few weeks, but always with a different guy. Something wrong with all of them?"
"They're my parent's idea of a 'respectable match,' for me," you admitted with a sigh. "Too bad all of them are entitled dickheads."
The guy barked out a surprised laugh. "All of them, huh?"
"Every single one," you lamented, throwing him an uncertain look. "Does that make me sound like a bitch?"
The guy looked thoughtful for a moment before he nodded over towards the valet podium. "That your date screamin' at my best mate?"
"That's the one," you sighed, barely resisting the urge to hit your head against the wall behind you. "What does it say about me that my parents keep setting me up with guys like that?"
"That your parents have terrible taste?" The guy shot you a reassuring smile. "Let me get that guy out of your hair and then I'll drive you home. How about that?"
"Aren't you working right now?"
"I'm sure Derek won't mind holding down the fort for the time it'll take me to give a pretty girl like you a ride home. In fact, he’d insist I can’t just leave you here to fend for yourself."
“Oh, he would, would he?” You quirked an eyebrow at him, not able to stop the smile that was tugging at the corners of your lips. "How do I know I can trust you? I don't even know your name," you pointed out.
"Right," the guy agreed as he turned to face you. "I'm Sean. And you are?"
"Y/N," you responded, barely fighting off a grin at the sight of the earnest expression on Sean's face. "You promise not to murder me, Sean?"
"Oh, I'd never murder someone so beautiful," Sean said before he pushed away from the wall and walked over towards Derek.
You watched him go before sending a quick text to your friend in the event that Sean really was a psycho murderer and had no intention of actually making sure you got home safe.
You felt a little nervous as you slipped into the passenger seat of Sean's car. Sean seemed nice and charming, sure, but you were sure that a lot of serial killer's victims thought that before they met a bloody, grisly end. Still, you figured that you had suffered through four terrible dates, so at least you were due for one decent guy to give you a ride home, right?
"So," you started, glancing over at Sean. "Do you like being a valet?"
Sean snorted, shooting you a quick look, before he turned his attention back towards the road. "You want an honest answer?"
"It's preferable to a lie, yeah," you told him, catching his amused look at your words.
"It's not as horrible as you would think it is," he confessed, lowering his voice as if it wasn't just the two of you in the car. "I get paid to hang out with my best friend each night. The only drawback is dealin' with entitled pricks like your date tonight. But we never have to deal with them for very long and then it's on to the next car. Besides, it leaves me enough free time to pursue what I really want to do."
"Oh? What's that?" You turned slightly in your seat in an attempt to get a better look at him.
"Photography," he admitted with a sheepish shrug of his shoulders. "I haven't had a big break or anything yet, but it's what I enjoy."
"Yeah? What do you enjoy most about it?"
By the time Sean was pulling to a stop in front of your apartment building, you were a little sad to see him go. The few minutes you got to hear him speak about his photography was by far one of the best moments of the past month for you. He lit up when he was talking about his projects, showing such passion for the subject that you couldn’t help but smile as you listened to him talk.
"Thanks, Sean," you said as you got out of the car. "Do you need me to give you gas money or anything?"
"We're square," he assured you with a grin. "I should probably head back to Nino's before Derek decides to take all of tonight's tips for himself, though. It wouldn't be the first time," he grumbled.
"Do you drive women home after terrible dates that often?" You knew you should probably let him go back to work, but you couldn't help but hope that you were somehow special. There was just something about Sean that made you want to get to know him more. It was pretty much the opposite of what you usually felt after every date your parents had set you up on.
"This is the first time," Sean assured you. "But if your next date ends up being a total dud? I'd love to do this again."
"It's a date," you confirmed with a nod before your words caught up to you. "I mean, well, uh, obviously not..." you floundered, shooting Sean a helpless look.
"It's a date," he agreed. "G'night, Y/N."
"Good night," you echoed before you turned and walked towards your apartment building. You didn't dare look back to see if Sean was still there, because you weren't sure if you could handle the fact that he was waiting to see if you got into your building safely. It would mean Sean was a little too perfect and you really didn’t know what you were supposed to do with that knowledge.
As you waited for the elevator to reach your floor, you couldn't help but admit to yourself that you were interested in Sean. He was sweet and funny and a gentleman. He had actually let you talk about yourself, unlike the guys your parents thought would make a good match for you, and he didn't even pretend to listen. You knew he was actually listening as you talked about your graduate degree and how you loved your parents, but didn't exactly want the future they had all planned out for you.
The terrible date with the douchebag of the week had been worth it because it had led to you meeting Sean. You even found yourself hoping that your parents would set you up with another entitled jackass next weekend just so you could get to know Sean just a little bit more.
By the time you were settling into bed that night, you realized that you had forgotten all about your plans to get tiramisu and wallow in your lonesomeness in front of your television for the rest of the night. Instead, your thoughts had mostly been preoccupied with Sean and whether you would be able to see him again soon.
For the first time in a long time, you had a smile on your face as you went to sleep that night, and it had absolutely everything to do with meeting Sean.
You were struggling to be thankful a week later that your parents hadn't given up on you or your love life just yet. You were sitting at Nino's at what you were starting to consider your table as you listened to your date drone on and on about the boat his dad bought him for his last birthday. You got the distinct impression the guy wanted you to be so impressed by his wealth that wasn't really his at all that you would excuse the hand slowly inching up your thigh.
You clenched your jaw before you dug the heel of your shoe into the guy's foot
"Ow! What was that for?"
"Sorry," you told him. "Leg spasm. I should probably get that checked out...right now," you stressed before you stood up. You held a hand out across the table to awkwardly shake his hand, trying to ignore the way that your date was blatantly checking out your chest, before you made your way immediately towards the counter. You weren't going to miss your tiramisu this week. After the date you had endured, you knew you would need it.
You went outside, hoping your date left soon so you could call a cab and go home. You leaned against the restaurant outside, but after five minutes of waiting for your date to leave, you got restless.
You went over to peek in the restaurant's windows, quickly spotting your date chatting up the waitress. "You've got to be fucking kidding me," you muttered.
"Another loser tonight?"
You startled, turning to see Sean standing behind you.
"I think 'loser' is too kind for him," you grumbled before you moved to pull your phone out of your jacket pocket. "Know the number of any cab companies?"
"Don’t worry about that. If you give me a couple minutes for Derek to return, I can drive you home."
"Oh, no, I couldn't put you out like that," you found yourself saying in a bid to be polite, even if you wanted so badly for Sean to drive you home again.
"We had a date, didn't we? I'd hate to miss it," he said. His attention was caught by his friend returning with a family's SUV. "Give me a moment," he said before he walked over to Derek. You noticed Sean say a few words to Derek, gesturing over towards you.
A sly grin broke out on Derek's face before he clapped a hand to Sean's shoulder. "Go for it, bro," you heard Derek tell Sean before he shot him a wink.
Sean shook his head before he turned around to look at you, his cheeks flushing when he seemed to realize you had watched their whole exchange.
"Ready?"
"Yes," you immediately agreed, a smile on your face as you let Sean lead you towards his car.
By the time Sean dropped you off, you had heard all about his family, Derek, and food preferences. You told him about your parents, your dream of moving far away from them at some point, and your favorite book series.
You barely remembered the container of tiramisu in your lap until you were about to get out of the car. "Oh, yeah," you said as you considered it for a moment. "My dessert," you explained to Sean when he sent you a questioning look. "Do you..." you trailed off, not sure if it was a good idea or not. When you realized you really didn't want your time with Sean to end just yet, you decided to just go for it. "Do you want to come in and split this with me?"
"I'd love to," Sean said, before his face fell. "But I've gotta get back to Derek. I can't just leave him to run our business all alone. It wouldn't be fair."
"Right," you sighed before you climbed out of the car. "Well, uh, maybe next time?"
"I'd love to," Sean repeated, offering you a genuine grin.
The next time your parents decided to set you up on a date, you were practically delighted to go. It wasn't because you were looking forward to a new jackass who was bound to annoy you for an hour before you could feign some kind of disease and leave, but it was because it meant you would be going to Nino's again. You would see Sean again. And this time, you promised yourself, you would share more than a few minutes alone in his car with him.
Once you had your date convinced you were suffering from a sudden bout of the flu, you made your way to the counter to order dessert. This time, you ordered one of each dessert item on the menu, worried that Sean wouldn't like tiramisu.
By the time you made it outside, your date was already gone, but Sean was nowhere to be seen.
"He'll be back soon," you heard someone say.
You glanced over at the valet station to see Derek considering you.
"He's just parking a car," Derek explained, looking oddly nervous for a moment, before he shot you a reassuring grin. "Sometimes it takes him a bit longer to get his lazy ass back here, but he's bound to show up soon."
"Mind if I wait here with you?"
"Go for it," Derek said, gesturing for you to join him at the valet podium.
When five minutes passed and there was no sign of Sean, you noticed Derek pull out his cell phone. He turned his back towards you, obviously meaning for the call to be at least somewhat private, but you still ended up hearing everything that was said.
"Dog, you've got a girl waiting here for you," Derek started before listening to whatever Sean was saying. "Fuck, just forget about it and get your ass back here, alright? Besides, if you're finally gonna get some, that's way more important," Derek muttered. "Yeah, yeah, shut up, I'll keep her entertained for you." Derek sighed before he turned around and offered you a grin. “So, seen any good movies lately?”
It took another ten minutes for Sean to show up. He looked flustered and embarrassed as he ran up to greet you. "Hey, sorry it took me so long," he said as he quickly glanced at Derek. "You've got it for the rest of the night?"
"Don't worry about it, bro. Go have a good time," Derek told Sean, winking at him.
Sean rolled his eyes before he held his arm out, waiting for you link your arm through his, and then led you towards his car.
By the time you were leading Sean up to your apartment, you realized you were nervous. What if he didn't like any of the desserts? What if he didn't like your apartment? Or worse...what if he didn't like you?
It wasn't long before you realized that you shouldn't have worried at all. Sean didn’t seem to be uncomfortable or unhappy at all. Sean had simply taken a look at the books on your coffee table, commented on how much he liked the view of the city from your apartment, and then followed you into the kitchen when you offered him something to drink. Now, Sean was enjoying a slice of cheesecake while he told you about Ireland and how much he missed it.
"It sounds beautiful," you sighed as you finished off your piece of tiramisu. "I hope I get to go one day."
"I hope so too," Sean mused, the look on his face suggesting that he was currently thinking about the both of you going to Ireland...together.
You couldn't help the smile on your face as you stole a bite of Sean's cheesecake.
After the seventh, eighth, and ninth dates, you made it a habit to get yourself a piece of tiramisu and a piece of cheesecake for Sean. You learned what Sean liked to watch on television and even about the guilty pleasure reality TV show he enjoyed when he wanted to unwind. He brought you some of his prints to show you, leaving you nearly breathless with the beauty of his work. You really enjoyed the nearly bashful look on his face when you complimented his work, resolving to get him to look like that as much as you possibly could.
Each date your parents set you up on only became an excuse for you to hang out with Sean. You knew you were falling hard and fast, but you worried that he didn't feel the same way. You enjoyed spending time with Sean and you really didn't want it to end if you made a fool out of yourself by asking him out only to be rejected.
You were so worried about whether you had a chance with Sean that you realized halfway through your eleventh blind date that you were being the jackass this time around.
"I'm sorry," you said, ignoring the annoyed look on your date's face. You didn't even remember his name or anything he had been talking about. "This isn't going to work out. I have to go," you continued, barely giving the guy a chance to respond before you were grabbing your purse and leaving the restaurant.
You weren't even planning on getting a ride home from Sean. Your only plan was to get home as soon as possible and just think about your Sean situation. Unfortunately, before you could get too far away from the restaurant, you were brought short by someone grabbing your arm and turning you around.
You had hoped Sean had spotted you, but it turned out to be the date you had just bailed on.
"You think you can just walk out on me? After I already shelled out money for dinner and a hotel room after?"
"It's not my fault you assumed I would sleep with you after our date," you pointed out, pulling your arm out of your date's grip.
"I heard from Chad that you were difficult, but I didn't think you'd be this much of a bitch!"
"Hey!" Sean yelled as he reached out to pull your date away from you. "This guy bothering you, Y/N?"
"Hey, buddy, why don't you fuck off?" Derek added as he pushed your date farther back. "The lady doesn't want you."
"Nobody asked you," your date spat. "I bought her dinner, so I bought her time."
"That's bullshit," Sean cried. "She doesn't owe you anything."
Your date growled something under his breath before he lunged at Sean. Sean caught a fist to the mouth before Derek jumped in, managing to take your date down with just one hit.
"What a fucking joke," Derek scoffed before he glanced at Sean. "Better clear out of here, dog. Why don't you take Y/N home? I'll take the blame for this."
"Have Nino call me," you told Derek. "I'll be more than happy to back up your story."
"Thanks," Derek said with a nod.
"Come on," you told Sean, leading him away towards his car. "Give me the keys. You shouldn't be driving like that."
Sean looked like he wanted to argue, but he sighed and handed over his keys. "Thanks," he got out, hissing and pressing a hand to his bleeding lip. "What a prick," he grumbled as he slid into the passenger seat.
By the time you were sitting at your kitchen table, carefully dabbing at Sean's split lip with a wet paper towel, you felt guilty about the turn the night had taken.
"I'm sorry," you said, grimacing at Sean's pained wince as you cleaned his cut.
"s'not your fault," Sean insisted. "That guy was the worst. I'm glad you won't have to deal with him again. Especially since he was only after you for one thing."
"Yeah? Isn't that what most guys are after?"
"Not me," Sean admitted. "I like gettin' to know a girl after she’s suffered through several unfortunate dates with a bunch of jerks and then eating cheesecake at her kitchen table before I even think about kissin' her."
"Oh? Is this girl someone I know?" You couldn't help the thrill of hope you felt at Sean's words. You realized maybe you shouldn't have worried at all. It seemed Sean was on the exact same page regarding your relationship as you were.
"I think you know her fairly well," Sean mused, a grin slowly tugging up the corners of his lips. "Shit," he hissed when it pulled on his lip. "I wish I'd decked that fuckin' prick when I had the chance," he lamented.
"I wish I'd decked him when I had the chance," you admitted. "But I'm glad I'm spending the rest of tonight with you instead of dealing with him. If given the chance, I'd always choose you."
"Yeah?" Sean seemed to perk up at that, a pleased grin on his face. He didn't even seem to mind that his lip had started bleeding again as he reached out to grab your hand. "Even though your parents didn't pick me out?"
"Especially because my parents didn't pick you out," you told him with a laugh. "That makes you even more attractive."
"Yeah? Even lookin' like this?" Sean asked as he gestured towards his split lip.
"Even injured," you confirmed with a nod of your head. "So, Sean, do you want to do something completely wild and get dinner with me before we enjoy dessert?"
"I'd be honored," he told you. "How about tomorrow?"
"Perfect," you confirmed with a nod. "Just promise me one thing," you added.
"Anything," Sean agreed, squeezing your hand.
"Let's get dinner from anywhere but Nino's," you said, grinning when Sean gifted you with a laugh.
"Agreed."

Ocean Eyes - Part 6
Tumblr media
I was stood in front of my mirror looking over my outfit choice, i wanted to keep it casual but dressy enough to be out on a Friday night! I already knew Hannah would show up in some ridiculously short dress or a too low cut top showing off her assets! The black wrap top i found in my closet was just low cut enough to tease but not slutty, i found my good jeans (that always made me feel good about myself) and finished my look with my black heals.
Tumblr media
As i checked my hair and make up i couldn't help but feel nervous. It had been so long since i had been out like this. My social life was pretty non-exsistant since becoming a mom, even when i did go out with Hannah it was days out with Mason and Lucas. I grabbed my clutch from the dresser throwing in my lipstick and eyeliner incase i needed to freshen up my makeup throughout the evening and then headed downstairs.
"Mace, you ready to go?" I asked as i walked into the living room, i was dropping him at Hannah's mom's place and meeting her there.
"Yeah..... wow mom you look so pretty" he said smiling at me.
"Thank you baby" he was such a sweet kid, he made my heart melt!
I grabbed my leather jacket and Mason's  overnight bag and we were soon heading out to the car.
Tumblr media
When we arrived at the bar we found a table in the back and got settled. Hannah was straight up at the bar ordering shots and vodka lemonade's while i held the table and kept a look out for Scott.
Hannah came back carrying a tray full of drinks with a huge grin on her face.
"These should last us a while"
"Jesus Han, you trying to kill me? You do realise i'll probably be wasted after two drinks!" I chuckled shaking my head.
"Thats what tonight is all about, we dont have to worry about the boys.... tonight we are free to drink and get wasted"
"Not gonna lie, i actually needed this"
"You've had a stressful few days babe, you've handled it like a pro. Im proud of you"
"Thanks" i smiled before throwing back a shot of whisky "wow.... that warms the chest" i coughed a little before laughing.
My cell lit up notifying me of a message from Scott telling me he was here, i told him where to find us and seconds later he was sliding into the seat next to me.
"Wow you look amazing honey!" He looked me up and down.
"Thank you Scott, Mason told me i looked pretty before we left.... i swear my heart melted"
"Awww thats so cute"
"Lucas didn't even notice i was going out" Hannah rolled her eyes before picking up another shot "Mason is such a sweetheart.... so observant to everything around him. My Luke? Im lucky if i can get him to talk to me at all when he's watching TV"
"He gets that from his dad Han, sounds exactly like Mike"
"God i hope not, i dont want him turning out like that asshole".
Scott disappeared to the bar (he was gone for ages) when he reappeared he was carrying a tray full of drinks.... some pretty pink glittery cocktails and more shots.
"Look how pretty these are!" he said loudly looking so happy with his drink choice, Hannah and i burst out laughing at how excited he was over the glittery drinks.
Id lost count of how many drinks we'd had by now, we had taken so many photo's and had even been dancing.... Scott had climbed up onto the table at one point until he nearly fell off.
"What about him? He looks cute.... and he keeps looking over here!" Scott pointed to a man near the bar, Hannah was already chatting to some guy she had taken a liking to.
"I think he's looking at you Scotty" i laughed.
"Who are you looking at?? Are we talking about the same person??"
"The blonde guy...."
"No! Im looking at him! The tall dark and handsome guy smouldering in the corner"
"His beautiful.... and so outta my league!" I laughed before taking a sip of my drink "i need to use the ladies room, i'll be back".
Heading back to our table once id finished in the ladies room i noticed Scott wasn't alone at our table anymore, Mr tall dark and handsome was sat with him along with another guy.
"Scott! You little shit" i muttered under my breath before giving him a false smile.
"Here she is! Gentleman this is my best friend Y/N.
Y/N this is Derek and Peter"
"Hi, its nice to meet you" Mr tall dark and handsome said with the most beautiful smile "i'm Derek"
"Hey, nice to meet you too"
"I invited them to join us for some drinks, more the merrier and all that" Scott looked at me smirking.
Tumblr media
'Ruby's' was packed out when we got there just before 11pm, Derek and Peter had decided to join us as well as Hannah's new 'friend' who we found out was called Troy. Derek and Peter had gone to get a round of drinks in while Scott and I found a table. I kept seeing Scott texting someone, he'd been at it all night.
"Okay spill, who have you been texting all night? You gotta a new guy?" I asked loudly over the music wiggling my eyebrows at him before giggling....id had far too much to drink!
"No there's no new guy" he laughed.
"So who is it?"
"Um...."
"Please tell me its not your brother Scott"
"Of course it is..... i'm sorry"
"Checking up on you?"
"Yeah you know what his like, he wanted to come out too but i told him that would be weird. He is going to be picking me up though"
"Scott!" I moaned resting my head on the table and groaning "Im too drunk to deal with your brother"
"He will just be picking me up out front, you dont have to see him" he reached over and gave my hand a squeeze.
"Okay"
"Here we go, we come baring gifts" Peter announced placing a tray on the small table.
"Thank you guys" i smiled at them both "anyone see where Hannah went?"
"I think she left with that guy" Derek said "im sure it was her i saw leaving"
"Why am i not surprised! She always did this to me"
"Did what?"
"Beg me to go out with her for a girls night and then disappear with some random guy. You'd think she'd grow out of that by now" i laughed. Checking my phone i saw a message from her confirming that she had indeed left for the night.
"I think this is my last guys, i'm seeing two of everyone"
"We should do this again sometime, its aways nice to meet new friends" Scott said to Derek and Peter.
"Its been fun" i nodded in agreement.
We all exchanged numbers and then Scott came outside with me to call an Uber. As we walked outside we spotted Chris's car parked across the street.
"He's here already"
"You can go, i'll be okay on my own"
"No way! Im not leaving you alone out here" he said being extra dramatic.
Scott's phone rang and he showed me the screen with Chris's name.
"Hey..... no everything's fine y/n is just getting an Uber. Um.... okay hold on" he looked at me "Chris said he'll take you home"
"An Ubers fine...."
"Come on let us take you. Please? For me?"
"Fine" i threw my hands up sighing "lets go".
I let Scott get in the front with chris while i sat in the back.
"You guys have fun?" He asked as he pulled out on to the road.
"It was sooo good. You missed out" Scott said drunkenly looking at his brother with a grin.
"Well i wasn't invited"
"Oh god...." i muttered to myself rolling my eyes, i was too drunk for this. I let my head fall back and closed my eyes.... maybe i could just sleep until we reached my place.
I managed to fall asleep until my cell started ringing. I fumbled around in my clutch for the phone and answered without seeing who it was.
"Hello"
"Y/N its Sue" i heard Hannah's mom's voice come through, i instantly opened my eyes on full alert.
"Sue, is everything okay.... is Mace ok?"
"He's actually not feeling well, he's been sick and has a fever. Y/N he's just crying and asking for you"
"Shit, um okay.... christ why did i drink so much"
"Hey whats wrong with Mason?" Chris asked meeting my eyes in the rear view.
"He's been sick and has a fever, he keeps asking for me"
"We can go get him, just tell me where i gotta go".
"Sue we'll be there in 10 minutes" i told her after i gave Chris the address "okay, see you soon" i ended the call and let my head fall back against the headrest "fuck! How the hell am i supposed to look after Mason like this"
"I can help out, i dont mind" Chris spoke up "if you need me to stay and help with Mason....."
"Thats actually not an awful idea.... at least until i've sobered up a bit. God, this is why i dont go out getting wasted!"
"You couldn't have known he'd get sick"
"But i should've been there for him...." i was suddenly feeling guilty for not being there for my baby boy.
