Then participate in Fandom Trumps Hate 2023!

@fandomtrumpshate is a fanwork auction event where creators and bidders across fandoms raise money for charity. Over the years, the event has raised over $190,000 for nonprofit organizations!

Anyone can participate! In 2023, you can sign up as a creator from Feb 6th to Feb 19th. Bidding on offered fanworks takes place from March 1st to March 5th.

How does it work?

Creators can offer any type of digital fanwork (fic, art, podfic, edits, fanvid etc.) or fan labor (beta reading, translation) for any fandoms, characters or ships of their choosing.

The offered fanworks are put up for auction, and bidders place bids on the works they're interested in. Bidding lasts for five days, and once time is up the highest bid on each fanwork wins! 

The winning bidders then donate the bid amount to one of the specified charity organizations. Once they provide proof of donation, they get to talk to the creator they bid on about the specifics of the fanwork. The creator then makes a brand new work based on the winner's wants! Yay!

Why should I participate?

It's a great opportunity to do some good in the world and get a pretty drawing in the process :). This is my first year participating as an artist, so i'm very excited!! i hope you guys can join me <3
