... D'you think Layton let the "your famous intuition" bit slide the first few times because he didn't want to ruin this little bit of supernatural for Luke, since Luke is so involved in curses and predictions at the time they first meet

But after a while Luke caught on that Layton just figures things out ahead of time a lot, but calling it his intuition stuck and now it's an inside joke

#i haven't played the prequels much yet so i bet I'll sound stupid if they do explain how the intuition thing started #can you imagine tho #and then bam luke straight up learns to talk to animals #that's actually very funny somehow #like layton is over here ready to destroy superstitions with facts and logic #letting luke believe in a bit of supernatural for the fun of it #....and then it turns out the oracle kid he picked up in a cursed town in tje middle of nowhere is actually magic #or incredibly gifted
